Once again, Roman was back to drinking in the morning when Aislyn woke up. It was a Saturday now, and the club was open later then usual, only on Saturdays. "Tonight's a busy night my dear!" Roman said getting her to sit on his lap. She laughed at his drunk overtone. "Do you love me?" Aislyn starred into Romans eyes demanding the truth. "To the moon and back." He said putting a gentle kiss on her lips. He got up and got ready for the day.
10pm sharp the club was opened. Saturday, it was open till 6am. Aislyn as usual made her way with Roman to the vip table as people filled the club. Music blared and lights flashed. Roman and Aislyn poured themselves a drink and watched as people danced. Late nights as always. As Roman disappeared into the crowd, Aislyn sat alone. Maybe she was Romans pet. An extra. Shaking the thought, a gorgeous woman walked through the door. Her hair was blonde and in a high ponytail. The white lace dress barley covered her body. Aislyn marvelled her beauty. She watched as she also made her way through the crowd. Curious, Aislyn followed her. Pushing through people was easy for Aislyn, since she partly owned the place. Nobody wanted to mess with her. Nobody besides people with higher power. That's how Gotham runs after all.
As she followed, she noticed the woman was walking straight towards Roman. Who was she? Aislyn kept her distance between herself and the woman. Roman turned to see the woman walking towards him. He swore under his breath and put a smile on. "Selena!" He yelled in excitement. Aislyn gasped. Selena. Aislyn knew Roman really wasn't excited to see Selena. "How longs it been, Sionis?" She said. Her voice was seductive. Roman looked down to the floor. "A long time," he said shamefully "a very long time." She put her arm in his and she led him to a table. Aislyn knew something was up. She made her way to the table Roman and Selena we're sitting at. "Babe!" Aislyn yelled. He looked up in relief.
"Ah! Here come sit with me!" He pulled aislyn by the arm to sit on the couch with him. Selena looked disappointed. "Aislyn," Roman said "this is Selena." Selena put out her hand for Aislyn to shake. Cautiously, she did. "We used to work together." Selena said. Aislyn saw how this woman could easily trick a man. Roman put his arm over Aislyn's shoulders, ensuring it made Selena uncomfortable. "Roman," Selena said, "I was hoping we could talk privately tonight, do you mind?" Romans face dropped at that idea. Forcing Aislyn to leave his side wasn't a good idea, but he knew Selena wasn't going to tolerate Aislyn with him. He whispered into Aislyn's ear, "we're going to talk upstairs, keep the guests entertained." Then kissed her cheek and left with Selena upstairs. Talk. Talk. Talk. That's it. Talking wasn't enough for her. Not on Aislyn's watch. She watched Roman take off with Selena and as they went upstairs, so did she.
As Aislyn followed, she stayed as quiet as she could, ensuring Roman didn't see her disobeying him. They got up to their room and closed the door behind them. Roman walked to the counter to pour drinks. "Why are you here, Selena?" Romans question was straight forward. She sat on their bed, crossing her legs. "You know why, Roman." He sat beside her. "No," he barked, "I really don't. If this is because of the whole gang thing and us being a thing, it's over, I'm done." Aislyn listened closely behind the door, sitting down, pushing her ear against it. Selena sipped her drink and looked into Roman's eyes. Glaring. He put his drink down and so did Selena. What ever Selena was onto, Roman wasn't interested. She got up, standing over Roman. Her blonde ponytail swayed back and forth. Aislyn couldn't hear anything as they just starred at eachother, but she knew, Selena was no good. Lightly, Selena sat on Romans lap, facing towards him. This wasn't what he wanted. "I give my life to you, Roman" she said. "All I ask, is you come with me and my gang out of Gotham." Roman went to say something when she pushed herself into him, kissing him. Aislyn knew. She heard it. Aislyn knew it all. Roman didn't care. Aislyn was Roman's pet that he carried around. She wasn't enough. A tear slid down Aislyns cheek. She got up from the floor and ran down the stairs, back into the club. It felt like slow motion. She pushed people out of the way to get to the exit.
She wanted to run away, Anywhere besides by Roman's side would do.
