Her body shook as the blue lights covered the walls. The scream lasted a min before he shut it off. Loyd clapped as the guards took off the machine. She lay limp in the chair. Roman walked towards her, untying the rope. "I'm sorry." He whispered. Deep down, Roman wasn't bad, but when it came to impressing higher power people, he made himself a monster. "Happy, Loyd?" Roman said sarcastically Turning around. Loyd gave a nod. Aislyn raised her head slowly, looking to see what had happened. "Had enough you little b-" Loyd was cut off by Roman. "Enough Loyd, leave it." Aislyns vision was blurry. She couldn't tell who was talking. "Roman, get out of my way and let me do business." Romans face went angered. "Loyd I said Leave it!" Roman snapped. "Roman?" Aislyn asked rubbing her eyes. "Are we back home?" Loyd was frustrated. Rage filled to the top. "It didn't work!" Loyd yelled. "Why the hell didn't the shock erase you from her brain!"
"She resisted." Roman said. "She resisted the shock."
Aislyn stood up as if nothing happened. As if she wasn't just electrocuted. Loyd grunted loudly. He tried to give Aislyn what she deserved after killing Selena, Roman not remembering Aislyn wasn't enough. She deserved to die. Loyd reached in his pocket, pulling a pistol and aiming it at Aislyns head. He thought about it. Roman wouldn't care. Their future was destroyed yet it wasn't enough. There needed to be pain. She needed to suffer. Loyd quickly pulled the trigger at Roman who stood to the side of the room.
One bang and he collapsed.
"ROMAN!" Aislyn screamed. In milliseconds Aislyn had ran under him, catching his head before he hit the ground. 'No!" She grasped onto his body and held him tight as blood poured onto the wooden flooring. Tears poured on her face as Roman looked up at her face, brushing her hair behind her ear. "I- I'm s- sorry." He faintly whispered. She pulled him close. "I- love you." She said, holding his hand. His breathing stopped as he stared at the ceiling. When Aislyn saw he was gone, she screamed at the top of her lungs.
"Why me!"
The guards grabbed Loyd by the arms, pulling him away aggressively as he laughed histarically at the sight of Aislyn kneeling beside Roman's body. "Wait.." she said. The guards stopped and held Loyd by the arms tight. She ran over and grabbed the gun, pointed it at loyd's head and shot him. The blood exploded everywhere but she didn't care. The anger turned back into tears as loyd's body was taken out by the guards. Aislyn picked up the bracelet she had thrown off the night before and put it in Romans hand. She kissed his forehead and closed his eyes.
It didn't have to end this way. But,
It did.
