Emma's POV:

"DONT YOU DARE BRING UP MY WIFE IN SUCH A WAY." he bellowed.

"Ouch, hit a nerve there; didn't I?" I jeered at him. "Tell me, do you talk to all your Akuma victims Like that or is it just the ones that annoy you?"

I wanted to laugh at this man. His face was both confused and taken aback; I clearly caught him off guard with my words and he was thinking of what to say next.

"What are you saying? Are you accusing my of being Hawkmoth!" He wasn't yelling; I don't think he wanted Adrien to hear outside but he wasn't talking quietly.

"Hm... No I don't think so." I looked away; staring at the door and holding in my laughter. "I thought it was common knowledge that you were doing all this for you wife."

He tensed, I could see it through the corner of my eye. He knew I knew. He knew I wasn't letting him out of this. Gabriel Agreste. A man who has never taken orders from anyone in his life -not even a superhero- rendered completely powerless.

"My wife disappeared almost a year ago," he stood up; trying to be intimidating.

I just yawned in his face "Yeah, "disappeared". Pfft." I clasped my hands over my mouth. A mans dead wife is not a laughing matter, Emma. Pull yourself together. I reminded myself.

"My wife is no laughing matter child," he was fuming now. His hands clenched down on the table and his voice was loud and threatening. "IM NOT HAWKMOTH AND WHILST I FIND IT RUDE YOU MIGHT THINK SUCH A THING, EVEN IF I WAS—"

"Clam down, no need to get all defensive. Just stating the facts."

His pupils dilated, he was absolutely furious. He took a heavy breath in and exhaled onto his hands. "Even if I was hawkmoth, you do NOT have any proof. I've tricked ladybug and chat noir before, I can do it again. Nathalie!"

When he called Nathalie I knew my time was running short, I had to land the bombshell before she got here or I would never be allowed near this house again; let alone a room in it. "Oh, I have proof. I'm more observant that you might think."

He seemed to think he was going to win this argument; he wasn't. "Please, you are some homeless girl trying to be imposing. You don't know anything and you certainly don't have proof, ive made sure of that."

"Mr. Agreste, I am more intelligent than you think." I wanted to die from laugher. the anticipation I felt from wanted to see his reaction was killing me.

"Oh yeah, what could a measly girl like you know about someone like me?"

"I know that you're Hawkmoth and Nathalie is mayura but you're reluctant to using her because the peacock miraculous is damaged; mostly because it was abandoned in Tibet and the dormant centimonster it created was destroyed by lava- causing it to break. I know the reason you know it is broken is because it's doing to Nathalie what it was doing to your wife and that's why she's in a comatose."

I took a breath and started slowly pacing towards him from the other end of the table.

"I know you haven't told your son because you're afraid he might judge your actions and go to the police because you never really had much of a connection with him. I know that despite what you said earlier; you DO know where your wife is; it's ok I know too. She's in a cryogenic capsule in your basement, the only way to access it is through the trapdoor in your study. It cannot be opened with brute force because it's made of metal but if you stand two mild steps away from the portrait of your wife and press six grey triangles; three in a triangle under her left arm and three arranged in a triangle by her right hip the floor beneath you will open and placed in some sort of glass elevator but forgive me I don't quite know. I know that you have feelings for Nathalie but refuse to date her because the only reason you're is to bring your wife back and if you're seeing someone in the process it's almost like cheating on her. I know that if you ever did get caught you would use the excuse 'I'm doing it for my son' when in theory you know that your son doesn't really care about what you're doing. He does in fact miss his mum but he would never go so far as becoming a supervillain to save her."

By now I was right in front of him, he was afraid. I knew so much about him and his plans that he didn't even move. "Also, I know that although you tricked ladybug and chat noir once, all this information getting to the police is bound to get you arrested unless you let me and my siblings stay here for as long as we desire!"

He didn't say anything he didn't need to. He had lost and I had control over him.

By now Nathalie had entered the room, she could probably tell I knew just by my last sentence but I didn't really care; Nathalie was always nice to me if I had to stay at my grandfather's house. "Nathalie, please show our guest to where she'll be staying." He said as we walked out the door.

Adrien was Waiting on the other side of the room; he thought Nathalie was going to throw me out. I knew this because he looked mildly surprised that she was taking me upstairs. "Wait.... did you... change my fathers mind?!" His eyes were wider than anything I've seen before.

I nodded to which he replied. "How!?"

"I have my ways, agreste." I giggled as he went to his room and I went to mine.
