It was a beautiful day. Birds were singing, animals were thriving, and everything seemed peaceful. However, it wouldn't be that simple for a certain group
Jaune, Nora, Ren, and Adam were sitting in the bushes. Well, that was a lie really. Adam and Jaune were really the only ones sitting in the bushes. Ren and Nora were arguing on what the team name should be
"I'm telling you! JNRR would be so much better!" Nora yelled at Ren
"But it isn't associated with a color. Not to mention that we don't have a place for Adam's initial. RANJR would be better." Ren argued back
"But that breaks the four people to a team rule!" Nora yelled out
"But there are five people here. And that doesn't matter anyway since Adam would still be on our team." Ren calmly retorted
"There are more members of JNPR here then RWPY." Nora said sternly
"But we are helping Ruby and Adam with their objective. It only makes sense." Ren told her
"Guys... we need to focus. Also, JNRR sounds way cooler." Jaune butted in
"Exactly!" Nora yelled at Ren
"I don't know, I think I like RANJR better." Adam finally spoke
"Thank you Adam." Ren said to Adam
"No problem. Now, we need to be ready. If Ruby comes over here with that Geist and we're distracted, she might die. But, if it makes you feel better, Ruby is the tiebreaker." Adam told them
Nora sighed in disappointment. Before she could protest, the ground started shaking. Jaune nearly lost his balance, but Adam caught him and pulled him back up
"It's here." Jaune stated
"Mhm." Adam hummed in agreement
Adam heard Crescent Rose firing before a giant rumble shook all of the team. Adam nearly lost his balance, but managed to recover before that happened. Adam looked at the new clearing to see Ruby laying in the middle of it
Adam noticed the Geist about to kill her. Adam ran to Ruby, grabbed her, and threw her out of the way as fast as he could. Adam rolled to dodge the piece of rock that slammed down on his previous position
As Adam stopped rolling, he shifted into his stance
"What happened?" Adam asked without taking his eyes off of the Geist in case it came their way
"Turns out the recoil from Crescent Rose isn't enough to make me fly, like you said it wouldn't." Ruby answered while rubbing her neck
"... Just don't make that mistake again." Adam said before he rushed off towards the Geist
Adam flipped out of the way of one strike and then another before climbing up it's arms. Adam unsheathed Wilt so he could fire Blush at it
The Geist brought up it's arm to block the bullets from hitting it's face. Adam dropped off of it's arm and ran away from it. Ren fired at the Geist only for the bullets to bounce off harmlessly
Adam came up next to Jaune, who seemed to be formulating a plan. Adam watched with Jaune as Ruby, Nora, and Ren attacked it from angles they could possibly get
