"Another day! Another adventure!" Nora exclaimed
A day ago, they had passed through Higanbana. Adam figured that they didn't really much to worry about there, but he could feel Maron's eyes on him the whole time until he went to sleep
Adam, of course, was staying calm. However, he could tell the others were starting to notice him. They had noticed the missing supplies
"What's on the agenda today?" Ruby asked
"Walking." Jaune answered
"With a side of?" Nora asked this time
"Walking." Ren repeated
Adam saw Ruby slump down. He knew the long journey must be getting to her
"Haven's a lot farther than I thought." Ruby said. Adam nodded in response
"Many goals and journeys to places we've never been usually are. But, luckily for us, Higanbana was the last stop. So, we should be able to reach Haven in a day or two." Adam replied
"Ruby? How long did you think this was gonna take?" Ren asked her. Ruby threw her hands in the air
"I don't know!" Ruby exclaimed to Ren
"Yeah, but, how long?" Jaune asked this time
"Like maybe... two... weeks?" Ruby answered as if she was asking something
"Two weeks!" Jaune exclaimed
"Ok, three or something! Look, I've never been this far from home before!" Ruby exclaimed as she gave her answer
"If it makes you feel any better, I never really strayed far from home either." Frost, for the first time, spoke to the others in normal conversation
Adam had honestly might've forgotten about her if he wasn't constantly looking back
"Whatever. We should focus on getting to Haven." Adam spoke again
"Hey, what's that?" Ruby asked, pointing to a wall
Nora ran up and jumped onto a fence post to get a better look at the village that wasn't even on their map
"Are those buildings... damaged?" Nora asked slowly
Jaune, Ren, Ruby, and Adam looked to each other
"We should search for survivors!" Jaune called out as he dropped the map and ran off into the village with Ren and Ruby
"Stop dropping the damn map!" Adam called out as he picked up said map and joined them
They had searched everywhere. Under bundles of wood, hard to reach pathways, and even in the broken buildings, but it seemed as if everyone just grabbed what they needed and left
Adam looked off in the distance into the forest. He knew Maron was looking at him. But, he wouldn't give him the satisfaction of going crazy over it
"Hey, I found something!" Adam heard Nora call out
He ran over to see they were all by a sign. His dog, which he'd named Koda, was sniffing around. Adam looked at the sign and saw the name of the town
'Oniyuri... I remember this place.' Adam thought
"Oni... yuri?" Ruby cautiously said in a questioning manner
"I've never heard of it." Jaune said as he failed to remember the town
