"I call shotgun!" Jacob shouted, running towards the car.

"Which car are we taking?" Tom said, his hands full with the bags and a cooler for their day at the park and pool.

"The one that's not a busted rental." Haz cringed at the thought of returning the car.

"It's not busted." Penelope scoffed. "It's just a little dent. Easy cosmetic fix."

"If you say so, love." Haz said helping Tom load the trunk of Penelope's car. "I'm surprised yours still runs." He teased.

"Hey! It was grandma's."

"Is she dead?" Haz asked, hesitant.

"No, she bought a new car." Penelope snorted. They all burst into laughter before climbing into the old top. Penelope turned the key and plugged her phone in the aux.

"What are we listening to today?" Tom said, knowing the drill.

"I'm in a Six mood." She said smiling.

"Oh I love Six!" Jacob gasped.

"Really?" Penelope squealed. "Ok—favorite queen?"

"Boleyn. Duh. You?"

"I gotta go with Howard, but Boleyn's a close second."

"What are they talking about?" Haz whispered to Tom. Before Tom could answer, the music came on full blast. Penelope put the car in reverse, her singing at the top of her lungs with Jacob killing the back up vocals.

"Grew up in the French court, oui, oui bonjour! Life was a chore so—"

"She set sail!"

"1522 came straight to the UK, all the British dudes, lame!"

"Epic fail!"

"Hey!" Tom squeaked while Haz laughed his ass off. Jacob and Penelope were dancing in their seats, shouting the chorus like pop stars and loving the reactions from the two Brits in the back. When the song ended they were nearly to the park.

"I thought historical musicals were an American thing." Haz laughed.

"I bet I know more about King Henry's wives than you guys." Penelope laughed.

"I don't doubt it. I hated history. This just proves that schools could at least try to make it more interesting." Tom shook his head, laughing.

"We should definitely listen to All You Wanna Do on the way back." Jacob smiled.

"Bet! You're officially shotgun until the end of time." Penelope smiled, pulling into the park.

"But I was gonna call it on the way back." Tom whined.

Jacob and Penelope looked at each, reading each other's minds. "Sorry not sorry." They sounded together.

"Ah, fuck off!"

She parked near the pool and they gathered their stuff from the trunk. Haz ran out and found the perfect patch of grass under a large oak tree. They spread their blanket in the ground and divvied up the grub. Tom kept the box of Swiss Rolls close by his side, but unfortunately with Haz around he had trouble doing the same with Penelope. He quickly grew annoyed with his friend's peacocking. He had unbuttoned his shirt about half way down and had his arm draped around Penelope, acting like she was some kind of prize, while still eating a peanut butter sandwich.

"Quit your smacking, Harrison! You're probably giving Penelope an earful."

"I'm not smacking! You're just grumpy. Probably all the sugar."
