*Some Time Later*

"Oh, yeah. This is gonna be good." Harrison ran a pinch more hair gel through his waves, smiling widely into the mirror. Tonight was the night.

"Haz, you have clothes on right?" Penelope said through the door.

"Nope. I'm fully nude." He laughed, washing his hands before pulling on his suit jacket.

Penelope came in, and she was filled with awe seeing him in his fancy tux for the first time. Her best friend. She beamed, watching Harrison fix his collar. They had been waiting for this night ever since they wrapped and now it was finally here. "We made it."

"We sure did—wow. Look at you." He looked over at her and was immediately dazzled: she was sporting her signature pink and her jewelry sparkled, dangling from her neck and ears. The gown really complemented her figure, and the vintage touches were so Penelope.

She blushed. "Look at you! You're a superstar."

"All thanks to you. Who would've guessed my big break would come from someone else's self tape." He poked her playfully.

"God, what a freeloader." She laughed.

"Hey!"

"I'm kidding, I'm kidding. But come on, you were the obvious choice. I think they were just looking for an excuse to cast you."

"What makes you so sure?"

"What better person to play Harry Osborn and the Green Goblin than Spider-Man's real best friend who's also a complete nutcase?"

"Ok, you got me, but I could say the same for you. Who better to play Spider-Gwen than Spider-Man's very own leading lady who just so happens to be both stunning and flexible." He pulled her in to a huge hug and sighed. "It seems like only yesterday we destroyed your mailbox and you clobbered me with your door." He laughed lightly.

"And now we're on movie posters and—I can't believe we're about to watch it for the first time!" She wiped a tear from her eye. Her make-up looked too damn good to cry now.

"I know and in the trailer it says 'featuring Harrison Osterfield'. Featuring, dammit!"

She couldn't help but laugh and cry at once. And soon enough he was too, rocking back and forth as he held on to her. "Tom's going to make fun of us for being so emotional."

"I would never, darling!" Tom pushed open the bathroom door, engulfing them both into a hug.

"How long have you been there?" Harrison asked, quickly trying to compose himself.

"You don't have to be embarrassed. I know what it's like. Except it says 'starring' by my name in the trailer."

"You little shit!" Tom laughed obnoxiously as Harrison smacked him on the back of the head.

"Watch the hair! Watch the hair—" Tom rushed to the mirror, slicking any disturbed hairs back in place.

"Really?" Penelope rolled her eyes.

"It takes work to look this pretty." Tom winked. "I'm not a natural like you are, love. You look stunning by the way, nearly gave me a heart attack when I came in."

"Is that...good?"

"Well not if you actually kill me. Quick, I need some mouth to mouth before I die."

Harrison's laugh burst out of him. He simply couldn't hold it. "I can't. Dude that's such a bad line."

"What's worse is mouth to mouth doesn't help much with cardiac arrest." Penelope grinned, loving Tom's grumpy face in reaction to them taking the piss.

"Just kiss me dammit." He wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her into a sweet embrace. His cologne gave her a rush as they tenderly locked lips, trying to ignore Harrison's choking noises. Tom waved at him to leave before breaking the kiss, and Harrison left them, whistling on his way out.

"Never a dull moment with you two, that's for sure." Penelope smiled, turning towards the mirror to check on her lipstick.

"Penelope."

"Yeah?"

"I have a present for you."

She turned back to him, and he was holding a gorgeous little box. It was white with a pink bow, a little card tied onto it.

"Aw, Tom. Thank you." She kissed him lightly as he handed the box to her. More tears welled up in her eyes as she read the card:

My Love,

I can't wait for the world to see you. First as the amazing woman and talent you are and second as my soulmate, forever plus one, and the Gwen Stacy to my Peter Parker. My devotion to you has no limit, my darling. Happy first premiere/finally going public!

                                                    Your Lucky Star

She finally untied the ribbon and opened the box, carefully unfolding some sparkly tissue paper to reveal a precious locket. It was oval shaped with a long, gold chain, a porcelain rose adorning the front. Penelope was completely at a loss for words.

"I found it in an antique shop, and I couldn't leave the store without it. I know how much of an old soul you are. The man told me it's from the 1920's. Can you believe that?" Tom smiled, trying his best not to get choked up as well. "Open it up." His voice cracked a little, giving him away.

Penelope gasped happily as she opened the locket. Inside was a picture of her and Tom that she didn't even know existed. It had a sepia filter on it, complementing the vintage style of the locket. It was on set, and they were both in their Spider-Man costumes, kissing. The love practically radiated off of the picture, making her heart burst and tears finally come down. "Tom...this is incredible."

"My mum took the picture while visiting set that day. I made her put the filter over it to make it look old. Do you like it?"

"Tom, I love it!" She kissed his face all over, making him blush a deep red shade.

"And I love you. I love you so much." He said in between kisses, relishing every second until Harrison (of fucking course) interrupted.

"Knock knock. Knock knock knickedy knock." Harrison whispered like an imp, peeking his head in the door.

"Yes?" Tom seethed.

"Limo's here. Time to shine." He grinned at them before making another goofy exit, skipping away in excitement.

"Guess we better get going. And don't worry, love, your make-up still looks flawless." Tom said, rubbing her cheek with his thumb.

"I love you. I can't wait to give you your gift when we get home."

"You got me a gift?"

"Not nearly as nice as yours, but I think you'll enjoy it." She smiled seductively as she stroked down his chest, stopping sooner than he wanted her too.

"You're such a tease! Now I won't be able to think about anything else all night." He whined, his body now begging for her touch. He wrapped his arms around her from behind, loving the pressure he felt as he pulled her closer.

"You'll just have to be patient." She beamed as he started kissing her neck, caressing her breasts and waist.

"I love this dress, darling. You look so good—"
He said, pausing. He was starting to get too excited.

"Oh, just wait until you see what's under it." She smirked, breaking from his grasp and heading toward the hall, laughing to herself. He made her feel so confident.

"Fuck, we need to go. The sooner we leave, the sooner it's over and I can find out." Tom moaned, following her out.

They went outside to find Haz tapping his foot, leaning against a luxe limousine. "Since when am I the one who's on time? Come on lovebirds let's get this show on the road!"

Tom laughed as they approached. He took Penelope's hand and kissed it lightly, looking deeply into her eyes. "Ready for your life to change, darling?"

She took a moment, taking it in. "It already has, Tom."
