My hands were tied behind my back to a pole in a black abyss. Light shone like a spotlight over me and everyone else in the abyss. One Black Arrow soldier was beating up Sam, Avi, and Fiona. Sophia was watching from afar, staring emotionless at the abuse. The soldier punched Fiona in the face and she fell to the floor. I pulled against my restraints, but it was as if they grew tighter with every struggle. Sam wrapped his arm around the soldier, only to be thrown over his shoulder and slammed into the ground and pounded. Avi pushed herself to her feet, only to be kicked to the floor once again. The soldier then pulled out a gun and pointed it at Sam. I could feel the restraints slicing against my wrists as I tried to twist free.

Sophia suddenly appeared beside me, "Beg for their lives."

"What?" I replied hoarsely.

"Beg for their lives!" Sophia shouted.

I didn't know how to start, "Don't, please don't!"

He shot Sam. My mouth dropped and tears filled my eyes.

"Try again." Sophia said.

The soldier pointed at Avi.

My mouth quivered, "Don't! Leave her alone!" I screamed through a broken voice. "I'll do anything! Just let them live. Please don't do this!"

The gun fired and Avi fell dead. I dropped to my knees and tears poured onto the floor.

Sophia grabbed my hair and pulled my head up, "Last chance."

The gun was now pointing at Fiona.

I looked at Sophia, "Don't do this, she's your sister. Let her live and I'll do anything you ask. Just let her go. Please, don't kill her. I-I can't... I can't... I wouldn't be able to live if you killed her."

I turned back to Fiona, who was staring into my eyes, pleading for her life. I shook with fear, as did Fiona.

"Sophia, please..." I pleaded.

Sophia studied me for what felt like an eternity. She turned to the soldier and nodded. The soldier's arm fell to his side and he backed away from Fiona. I sighed in relief, most of my dread disappeared, leaving me a little satisfied. The gun came back up and the soldier fired. Fiona fell to the floor. I screamed and pulled against the restraints. Sorrow engulfed me and I went limp.

I shot up, which was a mistake. My hands were tied to a bed and my stomach was in agony which was almost immediately followed by a migraine headache. I fell back, waiting for the intense pain in my stomach to pass. I was dressed in a black compression shirt and still wore my black utility pants, I was also barefoot. Looking around, I realized that I was in a hospital room. I took a deep breath, trying to forget the nightmare; telling myself positive things. They didn't do much help though as I remembered that I had a battle with Fiona and shot at Zac.

I hope I didn't hurt them...

Why the heck did this have to happen to me? It hasn't even been a year yet!

Sam appeared at my side, "Harmon, are you alright?"

I hesitated, "Hey Sam, I don't know. I don't feel okay, I have a freaking headache and a serious craving for oranges and sugar." I sighed, "At least I'm not under mind control anymore."

Sam's eyes widened, "What?!"

"Yeah, you heard me. Mind control. Black Arrow captured me and placed me under mind control. And..." I scowled at the thought. "Sophia's helping them."

Sam stared at me, "Sophia Fox? Like, Fiona's sister? Sophie?"

I nodded slightly, "Yeah..."
