Blue
"Yo baby. U alright?" Deuce looked to me.
"Yeah." I said lowly.
Everybody was running around, not sure what to do or where to go. It was only one shot, and we had no idea where it came from.
"Boon get'em to da truck." Deuce shouted.
I looked over at Zel, and he shook his legs like he tried his best to get up. I knew that he wanted too, and it frustrated him knowing that he couldn't. Especially not yet anyway.
"No, get yo sister." Boon said to Noah.
"Go Blue, I'll help Zel." He said to me.
Deuce
"Be careful." Blue shouted to me, while they tried to get thru da crowd.
"I ain't goin no whea'." Zel fussed.
"Zel cmon, u in a wheelchair. We don't need u hurt no mo'." Boon told'em.
"I aint goin.'" He fussed.
"We gotta get to Pete."
While people still pushed and ran, we tried our hardest to get to Pete and his fam.
"He's not breathing."
"Why isn't he breathing?" Kate said, while she cried.
"Pete." Boon bent down to'em.
"Cmon Pete. Get up fa me." Boon patted his face a lil.
I assumed sumbody already called fa da ambulance. They pulled up quick, ready to get to'em.
"Cmon Pete. Pull thru." Was all I could say.
Joshua
"Did you really have to shoot that man?" Cherry asked.
"Na, not really. But he's been in the way, way too many times. I just eliminated him." I threw the gun in the backseat.
"Did anyone see you?" She asked.
"Na." I sat here, while we watched everyone run to their cars.
"Why are we still here?"
"Why do you ask so many questions! Shut up sometimes!" I fussed at her.
"Im still here because I want to be. Nobody saw me. I was careful." I talked with my hand.
"I'm just asking." She scrunched up her face.
"Be quiet. I gotta take this." I grabbed my ringing phone from my pocket.
"What's up?" I looked out the window.
"No. I have everything under control." I fussed again.
"Look. Everything will work out. I'm safe. I'm alright. Stop worrying." I sighed.
"Listen, I'll let you know when I get back in." I hung up the phone.
"Mariah?"
I looked at Cherry.
"No."
"So, when do we get them? I'm ready." She leaned up.
"Sooner than you think."
Blue
"How is he?" I ran to Deuce in the er.
We left the kids in the truck close by with Mil and Zel. Was afraid to even move. It brought back so many memories. The kids must all be terrified. What they witnessed, could traumatize them.
