Chapter Twenty-five

Yoongi got up from where he was sitting. He tossed his phone into the pocket and searched for someone around the restaurant.

When his eyes finally caught them, he moved towards them and took the empty seat they had.

"Hey Taehyung! And you must be Jimin, though you were not expected to be here." Yoongi said as he greeted the two guys, who were absolutely not expecting him.

Yoongi was so surprised that they didn't notice him along with you and Sira in the restaurant, but nevermind.

He could see how Taehyung tensed up while looking at him, and maybe Jimin noticed that too. But he was sure the Jimin didn't recognise him at all.

"Hi! I am Yoongi." He introduced himself to Jimin, who looked shocked as well, because he might not have expected Yoongi to come to them.

Jimin looked at Taehyung for confirmation and he nodded.

"So, like I don't know how you didn't notice, but I was here with Y/n and Sira and we were gonna have dinner. But Sira saw you—" Yoongi pointed at Jimin.  "—and the dinner everything was ruined." He shrugged.

Yoongi put his arm on the table and rested his head on his palm in a relaxing manner. "Seongi just asked me to tell you what was going on, because you looked lost. She just made you both come here and reveal everything you were hiding from Sira."

Yoongi noticed the movement of Jimin as he kept his hand on the seemingly raged Taehyung, who looked like he was just about to grab Yoongi by collar.

"Honestly, if you ask me. It was a dumb move on Seongi's side, 'cause now that Sira will know everything." Yoongi said and reached for the untouched glass of water to take a sip.
"But I am not in a place to say anything. Don't get me wrong, you guys, I am just doing my job."

He said and raised his hands, as if he wanted peace. But his face just told them that he was mocking them in his own way.

"Okay, then." Yoongi stood up, getting ready to leave.

Taehyung too stood up gaining Yoongi's attention. "How much is she paying you? I will give you double the money to do what I say." Taehyung offered.

Yoongi turned around as he looked at Taehyung's annoyed face. But he could see the dark circles around his eyes and his features which looked more dull than the last time he saw him.

A smirk made its way to Yoongi's face. "It sounds like a tempting offer."

You couldn't help but feel low. That disappointed look on Sira's face just kept appearing in your mind.

It was my fault from the start. You thought as you turned around, trying to find your way to the restaurant where Jimin and Taehyung were supposed to be. You couldn't bring yourself to go to Sira's house, when she herself asked you to not.

If only you didn't listen to Taehyung and told to Sira, then the situation wouldn't be like this. What would it have changed if you just told Sira about everything, earlier?

It got to this, just because you couldn't tell her. You should have thought how it must feel to be in a situation where nothing makes sense and no one answers your questions properly, but you are still asked to move on.

That must be how Sira would have been feeling while going through all of these emotions and a sudden break up with some behaviour of Taehyung that didn't make sense at all. She must have felt lost, not knowing where to go to find the answers she needed.

You didn't like how it turned out, but thinking about it, would just make you feel upset. You tried to take a deep breath as you walked towards the restaurant.

The situation is not at its worst, you tried to assure yourself.

You still have a plan in mind, or at least hopes of it. So, it was still not the time to give up yet.

You stepped inside the restaurant and your eyes searched for Jimin and Taehyung in the crowd. You face turned into a frown as you saw Yoongi with them, as they talked.

It seemed like Yoongi was about to leave. Yoongi left the table as Taehyung and Jimin looked at him silently while sitting.

Yoongi came face to face with you as he walked towards the entrance. "Yoongi." You called out and he looked at you, his hands inside his pocket, posture rather relaxed.

"Yes?" He replied.

"You like picking fight and coming between people's business, right? I don't know how you planned the things with Seongi, but tell her that Taehyung and Sira are both precious to me, and I will protect them. And maybe I could help Seongi too." You said and walked towards the table, where Jimin and Taehyung were seated.

Yoongi stood there for a while, before making his way out of the restaurant.

"What was he talking about?" You asked to them as soon as you sat with them.

Jimin looked at you. "How's Sira?" He asked.

You looked down for bit, eyes shifting towards Taehyung before speaking. "She is mad now, after knowing that we all had been hiding so much from her." Jimin sighed at your statement but Taehyung remained quiet.

"But she said that, she will listen to us, once she has calmed down. That Yoongi guy just messed it all up, but we will find a way." You said, trying encourage everyone, including yourself.

"But, how though?" Taehyung interrupted with his voice. "It's all so messed up, it just hurts her and us more as we get tangled in it—"

Jimin cleared his throat. "Do you even want her back, Taehyung?" He questioned accusingly.

Taehyung glared at him. "Of course, I do! But—"

Jimin laughed humourously. "Are you the same person who was determined to take all the girls away from me? Are you the same person, Taehyung?"

You looked at Taehyung. Jimin was doing it, he was pushing Taehyung to make him do something.

"He is right, Taehyung. Honestly, you are just as stubborn as Seongi. She felt like someone has wronged him, and she is taking revenge for it. Just like you did. So, I don't know where is your stubbornness now." You said sternly. "I don't know if I should question it again, but you really want Sira to be with you, right?"

You didn't want to do it, but Taehyung really needed a push at the moment. You weren't sure what he was feeling because he doesn't even tell you or Jimin. But if he felt like giving up, then you have to fill the determination in him again.

"If it was that easy for you let go of her, then why did you try the relationship with her? Y'know how she feels like? She feels like one of those girls you always had around you back then." You gulped while looking at Taehyung's unreadable expressions.

You sighed, feeling kind of bad to put Taehyung at the corner when he was already so badly cornered by Seongi and her plans.

"She is not like that..." Taehyung said softly.

You looked at Jimin before looking at Taehyung. "What?"

Taehyung glared at you. "Sira is not like those other girls. She is special and I want to be by her side as long as I can."

A small smile rose the corner of yours and Jimin's lips, as you looked at Taehyung getting all fired up.
