Taehyung looked at Sira who sat with a man, that he never saw. She was laughing and talking with him. She was looking happy.
He took a step towards them, but he stopped midway. He remembered that on what position he was. Sira apparently thought that he cheated on her, he broke up with her, he ended their relationship.
With what reason would he be interrupt their meeting? He had no reason.
He went back to his seat as he tried to convince himself.
That man must be her friend. Sira is so social and friendly, so it surely must be her friend.
But still he felt uneasy for some reasons. He didn't like that Sira still didn't notice his presence because she was too immersed in the conversation with her friend.
Not that he wanted her to notice him, but still. He grew frustrated. And then he remembered, that she was supposed to meet Woong's friend on Monday, the day when Sira got to know that Taehyung cheated on her.
It must be that guy, because she obviously wouldn't meet someone on the same day. She must have been heartbroken, and sad because of Taehyung.
Taehyung again glanced at their table. Was the man, the same person who flirted with Sira on phone? He could be or he couldn't.
But both ways, he was frustrated.
Here, he was sad, all heartbroken, trying to do something against his will to just protect Sira. And she was having fun? Hanging out with friends, sitting with a man on the table where she used to sit with Taehyung?
Taehyung punched the table hardly, but not enough to gain attention of the nearby people.
He felt that sudden anger, the fear of losing Sira when she did not even belong to him at the moment. He was not there to shove all the men who tried to approach her in a way he didn't like.
He already had enough. Everything around him seemed to be going against him. And he was not able to stop anything.
His eyes were already burning, and he felt tired. He felt helpless. He felt anger.
He felt jealous.
Taehyung stood up and approached Sira's table. Maybe the way he furiously walked, gathered attention of many people. He stood in front of their table.
Sira looked at him as if she didn't expect him to there. She stood up and looked at him. "Tae?" She let out softly.
Taehyung's eyes softened a little as he heard his nickname from Sira. Maybe from far it was not visible, but Sira's condition didn't look any different from his.
She too had bags under her eyes which were hidden with the use of makeup. She looked thin, pale, the glaze of her skin didn't look like what it used to.
"Excuse me, Mister. Who are you? Do you know him, Sira?" The male voice took Taehyung's attention immediately.
Taehyung looked at the man that sat across Sira. The man didn't look younger than him, just a bit older if his guess was right. "Yes, she does know me? You are Yoongi, right?" Taehyung asked.
But the way he asked, was so threatening, even though his voice was calm.
"Taehyung!" Sira called for him but he didn't listen.
The man in front of him nodded, confirming that he was indeed Yoongi. By now, Yoongi stood up as well, coming face to face with Taehyung.
Taehyung grabbed his collar harshly and tugged him closer. His bloodshot eyes glared at Yoongi. "You tried to flirt with her, right? And now you try to meet her? Even after my warning?" Taehyung growled.
Sira widened her eyes. "Taehyung stop! What are you doing?! Leave him!" Sira yelled but Taehyung seemed to not understand her words. His eyes only focused on Yoongi, who also seemed to challenge him through his eyes.
Yoongi held his hands, which held his shirt's collar. Yoongi smiled. "Are you her boyfriend? Sorry, ex-boyfriend?" He mocked.
Taehyung lost his last ounce of patience as he rose one of his hands to throw a punch on Yoongi's pale face to erase that smirk off his mouth.
"Taehyung, please." Sira calmly said as she wrapped her arm around Taehyung's hand which prepared for the punch. "What are you doing? Leave. Now." Sira said tiredly but anger was visible.
Taehyung could see that her eyes needed rest, just like his own did. "B-But, Sira, he tried to—"
"Tried to what? Flirt? Not that it should matter to you now. We decided to meet here today, you are ruining it. Taehyung." Sira said sternly, her hands still clinging to his, fearing that he might punch Yoongi any moment.
Taehyung flinched when he heard his name from her mouth. She took his name with such disgust and hate that he couldn't interpret. His grip loosened around Yoongi and took his hands back.
"Why are you doing this when it's all clear? You have someone else in your life, and you freaking dumped me on top of that. What are you trying to do, Tae?" She said, her voice starting off as bold but then slowly turning soft. Her eyes glistening as if she wanted to cry but she couldn't.
Sira looked at Yoongi. "I am sorry, Yoongi. I ruined the plans. I just- I will go." Sira said as she apologetically smiled at Yoongi.
She picked her bag up and looked at Taehyung one last time before leaving the café, the people seemed to have turned silent because of their argument.
Taehyung stood there dumbfounded, mind couldn't help but bringing the image of the eyes of Sira that showed pure hate for him.
"Taehyung." Yoongi called him out and Taehyung looked at him. He still glared at him, but didn't do anything.
"Seongi was right, you really couldn't control yourself, huh?" Yoongi said calmly as he flattened out his shirt which seemed to be wrinkled by Taehyung.
"See you soon, I can't let a lady walk to her home alone, can I?" Yoongi said and smirked.
He got out of the café leaving Taehyung standing there alone with widened eyes as he tried to process the words that Yoongi just told to him.
