I swear PARENTS in fanfictions are the worst! Why? Why do you make them bad? Or have no contact with their children?

And why does the main boy ALWAYS ask her about her parents?

"So what happened to your parents Stella?" He asked
I looked down my eyes filled with tears..
"Oh I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked" he said and silence filled the room

AGAIN I MYSELF KILLED THE MAIN GIRL'S MOTHER AND MADE HER DAD HAVE CANCER AND ALL THAT BUT THAT'S JUST BECAUSE SHE'S PARANOID (again if you check it out i'd be glad)

When the main boy meets the main girl's parents and her dad hates him and forces his daughter to break up with him!

That seriously gets on my nerves! FOR REAL !!
