CH*62 (Nighttime Beach Fun)

Jungkook pov:

We head outside once we've all changed. I look around at the beauty of the beach at night.

"You guys are so lucky. Your backyard let's out right onto the sand."

I look around at all the smiling faces as we walk to the waves lapping onto the sand. It really is beautiful. There is a nice breeze blowing off the water, but it is still pretty warm. I stop just before my toes get to the water line. I'm not really a fan of cold water. I look over at Tae as he takes my hand.

"What's wrong Kookie?"

"Oh, nothing's really wrong. I'm just wondering how cold the water will be."

I hear Joon chuckle on the other side of me as the triad walk right into the waves.

"Kook you don't have to worry about that. The water will be a nice temperature. One of the benefits of living in Florida."

I nod as he picks Jin up and walks into the waves. I squeeze Tae's hand and together we step into the water. I am pleasantly surprised. The water is cool but not cold at all. It feels good in the warm air. Tae and I continue to walk out until the water comes up to our chests. I look around to see the guys are pretty much in the same area as we are. Seems we have drawn an imaginary safety line. I look over at Tae as he releases my hand and ducks down under the water. He stands up right in front of me and rubs the water out of his face brushing his hair back from his eyes. I feel my breath hitch as I watch the water trickle off of him. He is breathtaking all wet in the moonlight. I hold my breath and duck under the water myself to cool off. It was either that or grab him. I shake my head as I stand back up mirroring Tae's action as I wipe the water off. I open my eyes and immediately I'm locked in his gaze. He pulls me closer to him, his hands grabbing my waist and I gasp. We stare into each other's eyes.

"You are so beautiful Kookie. The moonlight just brings it out more."

I have to laugh as I had a similar thought just minutes before. I watch as he licks his lips. He wraps his arms around my waist as I wrap my arms around his neck and leans in taking my lips in a soft kiss. He pulls back looking into my eyes as he connects our foreheads. We stand in the water just content to be there holding each other. I gasp as a wave of water crests over us. We still cling to each other with one arm but wipe the water away and look around. Jimin and Hobi are cracking up as they swim away and Suga just treads water shaking his head.

"I told them not to."

Tae and I come to understand they are the reason for the wave. We laugh and take off after them.

Seokjin pov:

I laugh as I float wrapped in Joonie's arms as the Taekook couple swim after Jimin and Hobi. It's fun to watch the resulting water fight but I am content where I am. I look over to Suga swimming around as he watches his mates play with Tae and Kook with a smile. I feel my own smile as I lean back more onto Joonie's chest.

"Joonie, do you want to sit around the fire pit after this? We can roast marshmallows and make smores."

"I like that idea. It's nice just being in the water. I like holding you though, so I really don't want to swim right now."

I nod feeling the same way. The water is awesome but it's even better being here in Joonie's arms. I look around as Suga growls to see that Tae has dunked Jimin.

"Ah Joonie I think that's our que."

He laughs and releases me. Just as Suga is about to swim over to the guys I hear Joonie call out.

"Come on guys we're going to head over to the fire pit."

I watch as Suga looks at Joon and then back at his mates as they laugh with Tae and Kook and start to make their way to the shore. He shakes his head and starts to head in as well. I laugh as we turn to head in as well.
