Billie Joe was nervous. He and Mike had been together for what seemed like forever but was actually a few months. He whined, pacing back and forth. Mike was so special to him; they had their highs and lows together. He knew he had to stop with the alcohol to save their relationship entirely.

But was that easy? No. Styling his black messy excuse of a head of hair was easier! One day, it came to him: proposal. Mike had actually suggested it, to which Billie rejected the idea at the time...

"Maybe you should propose some day! And we could adopt a kid!" Mike said. Billie spit out his drink, causing soda to fly everywhere. "What??" He yelled in disbelief. "Mike, we already have kids of our own! I'm not ready to be a father again! And I'm just not sure about proposing right now." He said the last bit softly. Mike, disappointed, sighed and hung his head in shame.

The flashback abruptly ended when someone cleared their throat. "Sir!" It was the cashier. Billie snapped out of it. "Yeah?" He said. "That'll be $895.99, please." Billie sighed. Note to self: Go somewhere cheaper for the wedding ring. He paid for the ring and headed out with the gift. Tonight was the night.

The night he'd propose. The night that would define the vampire as a man. Mike was at the practice studio with Trè and Jason, whining anxiously. He paced about as he worried about Billie.

He had no idea what was to come...
