Billie yawned, waking up in the king-sized bed next to his husband, Mike. He still looks so beautiful, so beautiful. Marrying him was right, he thought. His thoughts were interrupted by jingle-jangles of multiple collar tags. He groaned. Five dogs proved a challenge, but being a dog dad was rewarding. Especially when they let you dress them...sometimes.

He got out of bed, the dogs following him to the backyard. He was sipping some coffee as he watched them. He was only in boxers and a robe, since: 1. He didn't feel like getting dressed. 2. He and Mike got a little naughty the night before.

After doing so, he went back inside. He checked in on their eight-year-old adopted son, Mason, and smiled softly when he saw he was still asleep. Next, he checked the bedroom. Nothing. No Mike!! He started to panic. Where could he be??

Billie rushed to the kitchen, where he luckily found his love at the table, sipping some coffee too. He sighed in relief, sitting next to him. He kissed his head.
"Morning, baby. How are we? Sleep well?"
"Yes, Daddy,"
"Good,"
"You?"
"Moderately good!"
"And what about Mason?"
"Still asleep. If he sleeps in too late, he'll miss his shows! He loves his Mickey Mouse." Billie chuckles.

Then they heard the timp timp of tiny feet. "Morning, Dad." He said sleepily, rubbing his eyes. "Morning, Macy." Both parents said softly. Billie eventually found the motivation to make some breakfast, which was eggs, toast, and fried potatoes. Of course, he didn't forget the bacon.

"Breakfast!" He yelled. The other two came dashing to him, and he handed the two their plates, the servings being perfectly portioned to each of their likings. He sat down with his plate, sitting next to Mike. They held hands under the table as they ate.

"Dad?"
"Yes, Mason?" Billie replies, mouth full of food.
"Why do you love Dad?"
He thought a moment. Why did he love him? "Because I always have. He and I are married, and that's because we love each other. We're also going on a date tonight, so you'll be staying with Grandma. Okay?"
"Okay,"
"Do you need help getting dressed?"
"No." Mason finished his food and walked off to get dressed.

"Did you mean that?" Mike asked.
"Meant what?"
"That you loved me.."
"Of course I meant it. Why would I lie to our son?"
"He doesn't know we did drugs. That's a lie,"
"I'm aware," Billie gathered up plates and began to wash them, "but I'm not going to tell him until the time is right,"
"And when will that be?"
"When he's thirteen and hitting puberty,"
"Why then?"
"Now you're just plain interrogating me." Billie put his hands on his hips.

.........time skip brought to you by Cheez-its snap'd. So good we might run out of cheese.

Billie dropped Mason off at his grandma's. "Be good! Brush your teeth before bed, and remember to drink water! No sugar!" He called out.
"I know!" Mason calls.
The couple watched him walk in, and once he disappeared from sight, they drove off.
"We're dressed fancy. The reason?"
"Date night,"
"I know, Billie, but where?"
"You'll see.."

The car pulled into a parking space at a fancy restaurant. A worker came out, and handed him a bag chalk full of plastic containers. He'd already paid, so that saved the hassle. "What's this?" Mike mumbled. He reached into the bag to investigate, but he was met with a light smacc. "Not until we get there." The blonde scolds.

They arrived at the park, where Billie went up to the tallest (and unfortunately steepest) hill, and set out a picnic blanket. He got out the food, which was really Olive Garden, and gestured for his husband to follow him. The two sat on the classic red-and-white-checkered cloth, eating their food. There were times when Billie would shove some noodles into Mike's mouth, and Mike would offer a bite of breadstick.

When both were full, the moon had positioned itself low enough to shine a blue, calming light. "Tonight was great," Mike spoke.
"It really was, wasn't it?"
"Yeah."

There was silence until Billie piped up. "But," He smirked gently and leaned in, "it doesn't have to end. It's only eight P.M." He tilted his head, kissing him slowly. Mike returned the kiss, his eyes closing. The two pulled away and enjoyed the view. "Man, it's getting super dark! I can't see!" Billie yelled. Nothing.

"I SAID IT'S SUPER DARK AND I CAN'T SEE!" Right then, fireworks went off in the sky. There were hearts and fun shapes, and large fireworks. There was also a message that said, "Oh, how I love you! -Billie" in pink calligraphy fireworks.

Mike gasped. "They're beautiful.." He whispered. "And a-all of this...for me?"
"Yeah. That's how much I love you."
"Well, it's not our anniversary yet, but hey. Happy anniversary, Billie Joe."
"Thanks, Michael. Happy anniversary to you too." He smiled. Mike rested his head on the singer's shoulder, the two enjoying the amazing show.

Wew, another long one-shot! This was a doozy to write due to constant brain toots and motivational searches. Anyway, I felt like writing Bike fluff for this, since I was like, "Nah. No smut." I stuck to that lmao. Lmk if you'd like more content of a certain ship or whatever.
