Female Lead depiction above, but with brown hair. :)

I was on a hunting trip with my parents on that fateful night who wanted to take pictures of the mountains in Alaska. I can recall the way my brown hair swayed in the wind as I ran behind them with my bag's strap tightly in my clummy hands, I stayed in the distance behind my parents who walked ahead of me their feet left footprints in the snow.

My mom's kinky locks of hair was pulled up in one, as her brown eyes on her small dark skinned oval face met mine every so often before they landed on my father's lighter brown virile face whose dark brown eyes were focused on a map.
Their thick coats were as big as mine however being only nine years old I was much shorter.

         "Dad look!"

I exclaimed my finger pointed at a rabbit my eyes sighted underneath the snowy hill top on a ground below covered with snow, I watched wide eyed as it dug itself a burrow. I always loved nature.

"Stop being distracted." I pouted at my mother's words, before I stomped my feet on the ground. I followed them with sadness after being scolded.

I didn't want them mad.

When they stopped their walking I glanced up at what they stared astounded by, it was a huge mountain that towered over all, and father the photographer immediately smiled at what would make
us cash.

      "Honey I'm climbing up."

My father said with a smile, he wasn't going to miss an opportunity to get a good picture, so after a nod of approval was given to him. My father walked over to where the mountain was as my mother took her camera out to snap photos of his poses, because I grew bored I slowly stepped away from the two of them.

I walked slowly down the hill we came from with the trees above my head hiding the sun from me, the bag in my hand grew heavy, and I couldn't stop myself from glancing at the views before me.

Then that's when I saw it.
