StarWars Clone Wars(Fanfic): Rise Of A Sith

Chapter 1:

Palosoria, once a elegant and beautiful planet with enormous structures and vast space of trees, grasslands and mountains. A perfect place to find serenity and solitude away from politics and wars. In the planet's capital city that surrounded their biggest mountain, was a city named Evia, there stood a Palace on top of the mountain's smooth surface cut where Palosoria's royal family lived. The Palace overlooked the city and the planet for many generations where many of its people and inhabitants lived in harmony and prosperity under its rulers. It was until, when the clone wars started that the Seperatist invaded this peaceful planet and destroyed its rich land.

Count Dooku stood in the palace's high towers and watched as the droids fought off the clones and their Jedi generals.

His master, Darth Sideous, had told him to look for something in this planet.

"Lord Tyrannus, I sense a disturbance in the Force. I believe something is coming. Something powerful." Dooku recalled his previous conversation with his Master. "The disturbance has resided on the planet Palosoria. Go there and find out what caused it."

If Dooku remembered correctly, he could see, even under that hood, his master’s worried face. Was this disturbance really powerful that even a Sith lord fears it? The question is quite disturbing but he couldn't help but wonder if what he is looking for is a friend or foe and if it does want to be found in the first place?

The only problem is, what is he looking for? He has been on the planet for four weeks now and he had already ordered mountains to be mined, grounds to be bombed in order to find a lead to the disturbance. In the end, he couldn't find anything.

"My lord," the voice of a command droid broke his train of thought. "The Jedi have broken through the Palace. Should I send the droidekas to care of them?"

Dooku thought for a moment, he'll have to report to his Master soon about his progress of the search and his retreat. "Send the droidekas and prepare my ship." he ordered as he walked pass the droid and headed down towards the throne room.

Standing in the center of the room, he pulled out his lightsaber and waited by the massive doors as the Jedi were on their way.

The corridors of the Palace were filled with the bodies of droids and clones as Anakin Skywalker took down the few droids attacking them. Behind him was Ahsoka slicing the last droid before standing next to him.

"General!" a voice from behind them called out. It was clone captain Rex running towards them along with a few clones. "The entrance hall is clear sir." he reported as he was in front of him, his blaster in hand.

"Good work Rex." Anakin confirmed. Then turned on his commlink. "Obi-Wan, you there?"

"Right here Anakin." said the voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi through the commlink. "Have you already cleared the entrance hall?"

"Rex said it's clear," Anakin answered. "how are things going in the other side?"

"Oh nothing much," his former master said casually. "just droids."

"Same here." said another voice in the commlink. "We've taken cared of the droids in the east and west side of the Palace."

"Has Count Dooku intercepted you yet King Askal?" asked Obi-Wan.

"My daughter and I haven't yet encountered the Count, Master Jedi." replied the King of Palosoria. "I believe he may be still at the throne room as you'd expected."

Wonderful. They had the Dooku right where they wanted him to be. King Askal, along with his people, decided to join in and help the Republic take the planet back. His sources believe that Count Dooku is located within the Palace walls and so far he's still here. The plan was to attack on all sides of the Palace , Anakin takes the south side of the Palace where the entrance hall is, Obi-Wan takes the north side, the King takes the east side and his daughter, Princess Olivia, takes the west side. They would be able to surround Dooku and meet him in the middle where the throne room is located. So far, everything is coming up as planned.

"Good, we'll meet in the throne room to face Dooku in ten minutes." said Anakin. But then suddenly, he could hear something rolling fron the commlink's speaker.

"Better make that twenty." the voice Obi-Wan spoke followed a lightsaber turning on.

"Very well Master Jedi!" said King Askal, his voice sounding rough as blaster shots can be heard. "We'll meet you there, King Askal out."

Then Anakin could here something rolling towards them.

"Droidekas!" a clone yelled, his blaster ready to shoot the upcoming metallic balls.

Both Anakin and Ahsoka turned on their lightsabers as they dodge the blaster fires coming towards them. It took them a while but they all managed to finish them off.

"Well that went well." Ahsoka commented, turning off her lightsaber but still held on to it.

"Come on, we need to get to the throne room." said Anakin and they all ran towards the throne room.

When they arrived, they were met with Obi-Wan, the King and the princess who were running towards them along with their team of clones and Palosorians.

"Took you long enough." sadi Anakin to Obi-Wan.

"My bad," Obi-Wan answered. "the droidekas just won't get out of the way."

"Well, your just in time Obi-Wan." said Anakin, his lightsaber ready in his hand as did Obi-Wan's.

"Aren't I always?" replied Obi-Wan in a sarcastic tone that just made Anakin's eyes roll.

"Let's do this." he said as he used the Force to open the massive doors to reveal the standing form of Count Dooku and behind him were a lot of droids. His face grinning at the sight of the Jedi.

"Ah, Jedi." Dooku said calmly. "I was beginning to think that you would not have come."

Aankin turned on his lightsaber followed by Obi-Wan and Ahsoka's. "Your surrounded Dooku, surrender."

"Did you think I would go down that easily young Skywalker?" retorted the Count.

"You will pay for what you've done to my planet Dooku!" said the King, stepping forward. "And to my wife!"

Dooku chuckled lightly. "King Askal... Your people have fought valiantly, as did Queen Jamila." The King's teeth clenched and his hands turned into fists at the mention of the name. "It's a shame really, that you will be joining with her." then he ignited his red lightsaber.

"Not this time Count!" yelled the King as they all ran towards the Seperatist droids and Dooku.

Blaster shots were exchanged and lightsaber blades meet. The clones versus the droids, the Jedi versus the Sith.

Their duel commenced and Dooku already knew that he wasn't going to win again three Jedi alone. He had to make his escape. Their duel commenced and soon he jumped out of a window and landed on the palace's many roofs.

"Ahsoka, protect the King. We'll handle this." Anakin told his Padawan.

Without another word, Ahsoka nodded and did as told while Obi-Wan and Anakin jumped over the window and followed Dooku. They managed to catch up to him and engaged into another lightsaber duel. Their duel lead them to the edge of the roof, where the clones and Palosorians were finishing off the droids down below. They exchanged strikes, blocks, kicks and punches that in one hard punch in the face sent Obi-Wan back, accidentally tumbling over his feet and fell. With quick thinking, Obi-Wan managed to hold on to the roof's edge, instantly stopping his fall and with no time to lose he climb his way back up to see Anakin still fighting off Dooku. Now tired and exhausted, Dooku switched his form from offense to defense and backing away from Anakin.

Obi-Wan could sense the rage and anger in his former apprentice as he continued to give strong strikes to the Count. Now that he made it to the top, he quickly ran towards Anakin.

Their blades finally locked on to each other as Dooku tried his best to hold against Anakin's push on him towards the edge.

"Is that the best you've got, Count?" Anakin said, his voice deep and dark. "How does it feel to be defeated?"

Dooku grunted, his body shaking as he struggled to hold on. His foot nearly at the end of the roof. He looked at Anakin and he could see that really is going to do it. He's going to push him over the edge of the roof and watch him fall to his death.
