"I-I really like you. Like, like like you," as soon as the words left her mouth, she felt like sobbing. She had been building up the courage to confess for months, but it was far scarier than she had imagined.

Puck exhaled. "I, uh, actually really like you, too, Serenity," he smiled softly. Her heart sped up to a million miles per hour. Then, Puck leaned closer and planted a kiss on her cheek. Serenity's face turned beet red, so did his. They both giggled nervously.

Sabrina walked downstairs and saw them sitting on the couch together. Her face went blank and this awful feeling turned in her stomach. Like this pit of jealously was growing larger and larger inside of her. She wanted to throw up, scream, sob. Nothing had ever hurt her this bad. Nothing. She returned to her room before anyone noticed that she was there. The blonde locked the door behind her and leaned her forehead against it. She stayed there for a moment, unsure of what to do. Then, Sabrina let out an ear piercing screech. She started sobbing and sunk to the floor, turning and leaning her back against the door. Every part of her body was in agony and she wanted to cry forever.

How could he do this to her? Why would he do this to her? After all they'd been through, why didn't he see it as clearly as she did?

Sabrina awoke the next morning curled up on the floor in front of her bedroom door. Her eye liner and mascara were smeared all over her face and her hair was a mess. She stood up and was instantly hit with a wave of pain because of her awkward sleeping position. Her joints ached and Sabrina wished that she had thrown her hissy fit on the bed instead of the floor.

The bathroom mirror was dirty, but she could still see the mess that she had become. Sabrina sighed, washed her face, brushed her hair, then reapplied her eye liner and mascara. The only time she wore a full face of make-up was on special occasions or when she was performing. She had been in the school's theatre club since her freshman year and liked wearing makeup to fit the role she was playing. At first she joined to be part of the crew, but she quickly discovered that she was an amazing acress and singer.

That day, she was meeting up with the club for soda and burgers at the 50's style diner named Skates and Shakes. The waitresses/waiters wore roller skates and skated around the diner handing people their meals and taking orders. Most people thought it dangerous, but they were trained specifically not to slip and fall, so it was perfectly safe.

Sabrina dressed in a white NASA T-shirt, black jeans, black converse, and a black shawl. She smiled and spun around in the mirror before dancing out into the hall and down the stairs. Nothing could ruin her day. Nothing at a-

Puck walked into the living room and sat down with Daphne on the couch. Memories of the previous night flooded Sabrina's mind and all of the emotions she felt came rushing back. A lump formed in her throat and she was rooted to the spot.

What is wrong with me? If Puck wants to have a girlfriend, then he can have a girlfriend. I shouldn't be crying over something so petty. What was I even thinking? After talking some sense into herself, Sabrina's legs finally started working again. And she tripped.

"Grimm, you okay?" Puck asked, turning around to face her. Sabrina awkwardly stood up and ignored the sharp pain in her wrist that she had fallen on.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Just tripped, that's all," she replied gently. Daphne turned to face her and her eyes widened. Puck seemed to notice the same thing, because his eyes grew to the size of frisbees.

"What?" Sabrina snapped.

"Y-your wrist," Daphne stammered. Sabrina raised an eyebrow and looked down at her left wrist. It was bent completely backwards so that her fingers touched her forearm.

"We should go to the hospital."

"Yup."

The waiting room was empty, so Sabrina had no idea why it was taking so long for her to be called in. Her hand hurt so much she wanted to grab the closest sharp object and slice it clean off, but she kept herself occupied by counting all of the ceiling tiles in her sight. When she had counted all of the tiles on the ceiling, she moved onto the ones on the floor. Once she got to 284, she heard a nurse call her name from the doorway. At that point her body was pumping so much adrenaline that she couldn't really remember anything from the appointment, but her mind started to clear after the whole ordeal was over and she was sitting on a table.

"So, it looks like she'll be having that cast for nine months. She broke her wrist pretty bad," the nurse told the family while Sabrina sat on the table, kickingher feet back and forth. Puck sauntered over to her side.

"Just tripped, huh?" he snickered. His pearly white grin shimmered in the light.

"Oh, shut up." Sabrina rolled her eyes.

When they returned home, Sabrina asked to go see her friends. But Henry wouldn't let her leave because 'her wrist still needed time to heal'. Sabrina pointed out that it would take nine months to heal and that he couldn't keep her home for nine months, but Henry still said no because she talked back to him. So, Sabrina messaged her friends and told them what happened. They wished her a speedy recovery, then Sabrina turned off her phone and stuffed it into her pocket.

"Uncle Jake, can you heal my arm?" she asked. Not even a second later, Jake entered the room with a wand in his hand. He was quickly stopped by Relda.

"No. No magic. Remember what I said?" she said, snatching the wand from Jake's hand. "Magic is only to be used during dire circumstances. Sabrina, Jacob, does this seem like a dire circumstance?"

Sabrina groaned and rolled her eyes. She had been hearing that since she was eleven, and it still didn't make sense to her. Why wait nine months for something to heal when magic could fix it in the blink of an eye? Sure, she was magic intolerant, but that didn't mean she had to suffer when there were so many magical remedies within arms reach. Did it?

Having a cast made Sabrina feel like a toddler again. She hated feeling so helpless. She couldn't even undress herself, which was going to be awkward in the dressing rooms. Daphne helped Sabrina get changed and into bed, then Veronica kissed her daughters on the foreheads.

"Goodnight, sweethearts. I love you two," she whispered before walking out into the hall and closing the door behind her, turning the lock before she shut it. Sabrina couldn't relax until she heard the click of the door being locked. Too many years she had spent worrying that someone would come and attack (or prank) her in her sleep. The former worried her more, which is why all of the windows and door had to be locked and double checked that they were locked before she could fall asleep.

Daphne, on the other hand, was sound asleep before Veronica even closed the door. The thirteen year old could sleep through anything. An alarm clock, someone screaming in her ear, a nuclear bombing, traffic, dogs barking, you name it. She rolled over onto her side so her face was next to Sabrina's. Sabrina looked at her sister's sleeping face and realized that seventeen was probably way too old to still sleep in the same bed as her sister, but they couldn't sleep without each other. So, Sabrina kissed her sister on the forehead and closed her eyes.
