As Hisoka sat awkwardly accross from Illumi, and at the seat besides him was Silva and Kikyo, who couldn't help but glare at Hisoka angrily. The only one who dared to take a bite of the food was Silva. Kikyo huffed. "So, Hisoka, what makes you think your qualified to be Illumis lover?!" she growled. Hisoka gave a smile, "Maybe the fact I'm evenly matched to him, or, the fact he gave me a home, and I gave him emotions, I can take care of myself, not to mention, I already am familiar with assassination tasks, I just prefer not too~♦️" he said slyly, Kikyo gave a small 'hmm'. Thinking, at least he's familiar with assassination skills. "Are you a cold blooded killer as well as my son?" Silva spoke up taking a bite of his food. Hisoka smiled and nodded. Kikiyo was not convinced. "I REFUSE TO LET MY SON BE-BE A GAY!!! WE WON'T HAVE GRANDCHILDREN IF HE'S GAY!!" she shouted slamming her fists on the table. Hisoka couldn't help but want to spite her. Illumi rubbed his temples expecting her to say this. Silva sighed, "Kikyo, what does it matter? He's not the heir anyways. Killua is, illumi has already turned into a fine assasin, maybe he needs to have someone to himself." Silva said calmly. Kikyo gave an angry gasp. "HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT!!! IF KILLUA DOESN'T PROVE TO BE ANY BETTER! ILLUMI WILL HAVE TO TAKE CHARGE!! AND HOW CAN WE IF HE'S RUNNING OFF WITH A CLOWN?!" she said growling at Hisoka, who grew irritated. He gave a fake cough and stood up walking over to illumi, He pulled illumi into his arms hugging him from behind and kissing his cheek, "Illumi, love, I don't think your parents like me... wouldn't you agree~♥️" he smirked. Illumi blushed and hisoka was back in his seat covered in needles. Hisoka had a pleased cat face as Kikyo sat with angry tears, Silva refrained a laugh as illumi growled blushing eating his food. Kikyo snarled "I REFUSE... YOUR NOT TO BE ILLUMIS BOYFRIEND!! MY SON NEVER AND WONT BE GAY!!" she shouted. Silva shot a glare. "Kikyo, who are You to decide our sons sexuality? This is why Killua wanted to leave. He is his own person while being an assasin." he said dryly. Hisoka wasn't paying attention anymore and began to fiddle with some cards in hand, earning a kick in the leg from illumi. He sighed putting his cards away, as Kikyo left the table. "I'm sorry for that, Hisoka, My son has already proven himself a great member of this family... But even so. we have to test and be sure your not just gonna take him away or drag him down." Silva said as he signaled to serve them wine, little did hisoka know, his wine was to be poisoned, so that they could either test his poison immunity, or get him to lower his gaurd so he could be tested. However, Hisoka knew better than to eat any food from the assasins. He's had experience In illumis cooking, before they were dating illumi would try to boost his immunity to poison, he'd always throw the food offered away before He ended up dead on the floor. He refused to touch his food or drink, Silva noticed. "Hisoka, why not eat your food? or take a drink?" Silva asked eyeing him closely. "Oh, my apolgies. I'm simply not hungry, I can go days without food.~♦️" he responded casually while fiddling with a fork in hand as illumi stared emotionlessly. Silva gave hisoka a nod. "Alright, well, you two can leave since your not hungry. " Silva said to go and tend to his wife. Illumi sighed a breath of relief, and dragged hisoka back to his room. Once there he threw pins at the magician who caught them in his teeth spitting them out. "Hey, what was that for illu-chan?~♣️" he gave a small pout. Illumi grabbed the collar of hisokas tux and pulled him into a kiss. "Cause, your a pain, you've been acting out of turn ever since we got here. And you need punishment." Illumi said with a smirk, Hisoka licked his lips. "oh? and what's my punishment~♥️" he said slyly, only to get pushed into a spare room. "You sleep somewhere else." illumi said dryly. Hisoka gave a pout. (TwT ) "Your so mean illu-chan~♠️" he said as he got ready for bed in the second room. He swore Illumi was laughing though Illumi at the time was sound asleep. Hisoka after dressing in a pair of his plush pants he plopped on the bed with a sigh, falling asleep to the thoughts of fighting Illumis parents.

meanwhile, Kikyo was speaking to Gotoh.;
"I-I just can't believe it!! Illumi, after being such a loyal, good boy! comming home with, with that clown!!! and, and saying he's GAY!" she growled. Gotoh casually stood by, listening to her nagging as usual. "THIS CANNOT AND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!!! GOTOH!" she shouted. "We will test him, test his qualities and even torture him to see how he can put up!!" she yelled rubbing her temples under her hat. "Gotoh! set up a cell, when hes asleep, knock him out to make sure he stays asleep, then, we will hold him in the cell then, when he wakes up, we test his resiliency, then if he makes it! we'll test him further!!" she slapped her fan onto her hand in an agresvily determined way, Gotoh gave a bow. "Yes, Milady, I myself, don't trust this newcomer... it shall be done." he said while bowing. Kikiyo gave a small laugh. "Good, we cannot let illumi fail, if killua doesn't return, he's the only one left, and we simply cannot have that!! No less let him be Gay and ruin any chances of reputation!!" she yelled. Gotoh nodded and left to prepare the cell, as Kikyo remained taking a seat and drinking some tea in the room she was in. Hisoka, lays sound asleep unaware of what's about to happen.
