Chapter 18: Illumis Pride and Disappointment

Killua, who heard from Canary, about hisokas 'execution' was sneaking around the halls to reach illumis bedroom to tell him about the 'exectution' he slammed the door open and simply grabbed illumi. "I-illumi.. wake up..." he said quietly not wanting to make alot of noise dispite how he rushed into the room. Illumi jolted up. "Yes... kill?" he said still half asleep. "Uhm, hisokas going to be executed at dawn, Canary heard from some of the butler's that he failed a small part of the tests mother gave him. He's in cell #9" he said while panting from the racing. Illumi sighed. "Of course that clown would screw up." he rubbed his temples getting up. He decided he'd head to speak with his father. He got dressed in his usual wear and soon arrived at the door. "Father." he said in his usual monotone voice. "Ah, illumi, where's hisoka?" he said while taking a drink. "That's the problem, mothers going to try and execute him." he said emptily. Silva spat out his drink laughing. Illumi tilted his head confused. "Ah, Kikyo... Don't worry son. I'll give you the key, which cell is he in?" he said while cleaning his face. "In cell #9" he replied as Silva handed him the key, "Its obvious that Kikyo is gonna try everything in her power to try and separate you two, however, to me you've already proven yourself son." he smiled and patted illumi on the back in a somewhat side hug. "I'm proud of you illumi." he smiled. Illumi smiled softly at his father's praise, and then took the key and headed for the cell, however, Hisoka was already about to be executed. He was on his knees with his hands chained behind his back, a smirk spread around on his lips as he was being held out in front of Gotoh, who was going to behead him. Illumi, soon found hisoka nowhere in the cell and rushed to his mother using his Enn. Just as Gotoh, was going to swing the blade, Illumi threw pins into Gotohs shoulder just as hisoka freed his hands was going for the kill himself. "HEY! I wanted to do that!~♠️" hisoka pouted as Gotohs body collapsed unconscious . Kikyo watched in anger. Illumi gave hisoka. that. 'BITCH! YOU SCARED ME HALF TO DEATH AND YOU THINK IT'S A JOKE' look. "I wasn't going to kill him as you would, you were going to kill our head butler. He's merely knocked out." he replied then taking a glance at his mother. "Mother, Father already gave us the okay, I'm leaving with hisoka. Either you approve or not, in honesty this was a bad idea from the beginning. But, I at least had to try." he said after throwing many pins inside his own lover and literally dragging him off. "That's a punishment for you hisoka." he said while dragging a knocked out pin cushion clown. Kikyo was furious. She rushed to Silva and, try as she wanted... she didn't get her way. "I refuse to accept this so easily!"she yelled and called for butler's to follow them. "Your to track them down! when you get the chance. KILL THAT DAMNED CLOWN!!" she shouted hanging up, she began to laugh from behind her fan. Killua, who heard, decided to make his quick escape and catch up to Illumi and warn him of the butler's. Along the way, hisoka woke up and began to pull pins from his skin. "awe!! c'mon illu! that was fun!~♦️" he whined getting up and following illumi. "I think not, you went around making a mess of things. mothers not pleased, but at least father approves of you." he said while walking he was slightly happy remembering his father's words, but at the same time, he was contemplating his mother's words. He shook them off. "We're free to go, however I doubt mother will let us go freely, be prepared in case any butler's have tried to follow us." he said, hisoka stretched following him slightly bored. "HISOKA! ILLUMI!" killua shouted from the distance. "Hey, little zoldyck~♦️" hisoka greeted. "Shut it clown!" he panted. "Killua, what's wrong?" Illumi asked. "Nothing, I'm sure you already know, but mother sent some butler's after you two. Grandpa told me to warn you and to give Hisoka his regards... awhile back, he found me and he knew mother wouldnt let me go if she saw me, so he kept me secret." he explained. "So, when you left I decided to go as well." he said. Illumi began to think, "Killua, why do you care for Hisoka and mines relationship?" he asked in pure curiousity. Killua looked up at his brother, instead of hatred for all Illumis done in the past, he smiled at his brother. "because, your not so bad when your with hisoka, it's obvious you two like each other, and... it's good to see you happy and not empty... or as scary as usual. Like, you actually smile and show emotions." he explained while walking closer to Illumi giving him a hug. "I like you better when your not a dead rag doll on the inside." he smiled. Illumi was genuinely happy and felt a warm proud feeling. He smiled and began to cry tears of joy. 'killua... doesn't hate me...' he thought happily. Hisoka who was watching the scene gave a small not creepy smile, as he stared at the touching moment. He joined them in a hug. "I knew I always brought the crazy into you illu-chan~♥️" he kissed illumis cheek. Killua pulled away playfully "O-K! Gross! do that at your own time!" he said making a fake gag noise. "Oh, so THAT'S what you and Gon do when we aren't watching you two~♦️" hisoka snickered Killua gave a paniced/ flustered expression. "W-wait!! n-no!!! Sh-shut up BAKA!!" he shouted as Illumi gave a disapproving angry look. But controlled himself as Hisoka hid behind him sticking his tounge out at killua, who was threatening to electrocute Hisoka. Illumi then tensed and threw multiple pins into the nearby woods. A butler fell dead on the floor. "Might want to take care of that." he said emptily, Hisoka pulled out his cards and used his own enn and Killed a few of the remaining butler's following. "About time you let me have some of the action, illu-chan~♥️" he smiled happily retracting the cards from the dead corpses chests into his hand. Illumi then grabed and pinned Hisoka to a nearby tree, holding a pin dangerously close to his throat. "By the way Hisoka, you ever cause me that much embarassment at my home again. I'll kill you myself!" he threatened. Hisoka licked his lips and smirked, "No you won't, you love me too much~♥️" he said playfully twirling some of Illumis hair around his finger. Illumi blushed and retracted his pin and let Hisoka go whispering a small "Damnit, your right." he said as he blushed. "Awe, illus blushing~♥️" Hisoka teased earning a few pins in his arms and chest. "Either I love you or not, your still a pain, and... your due for another punishment later." he said as he dragged Hisoka behind him and Killua followed closely as well. "Now, let's go home." he smiled as his heart filled with pride.
