I sighed lightly irritated. This class was boring the shit out of me. It was getting around fourish and somehow the time seemed to go extra slow today. My last class was marketing, something that barely took my interest. I needed to follow it to become what I wanted, but it really did bore me.

Grace was already done with her classes and I wasn't really in the mood to social with anyone else. The room was filled with nearly 100 students, some talking and the other writing the stuff the teacher was telling us. I didn't really have energy for both of it. I was doodling for the past 20 minutes, filling my papers one by one.

Things went pretty awkward since the last time I saw Dimitri. We didn't see each other much after that. Just twice when he needed to talk to Daniel while I was in the same room. I liked working with Jessica and Daniel. Jessica was an amazing accountant and she did give me lots of tips. Daniel was just the same Daniel I met the first day, he was still careless but I wasn't as much bothered by his actions as before. It was just the way he was, and I accepted it. Lorenzo was barely at home the last few days; he came pretty late and left the house early. He told me it was just work, but I barely believed in him. He was never down for his work this much. My parents were pretty awkward too, especially my mother. She was over caring the past days, texting me at least 5 times a day to make sure I was okay. My attention went to my phone which lightened up. It was a text message from Daniel, asking if I could help him with some work. I rolled my eyes irritated, that child was really becoming more and more lazy. This was becoming a routine for him. For the past 3 days, I have been helping him after school because he was too lazy to do it alone. I replied with a simple message, telling him that I would be there in an hour, before turning my phone off.

Daniel was the only one I talked too except for Grace. He didn't tell me much about what could have happened between Dimitri and the other cousin, and I didn't bother him with it after the first time. Their family was complicated, everyone could see and feel the awkward vibe whenever they came together. Daniel  wasn't really fond of his family either and I didn't like making him uncomfortable by talking about it.  Daniel could be a pain in the ass, but he was also funny and somehow caring. He didn't like showing it though, but I could see a more serious person than he liked to show.

Once the class ended, I grabbed my stuff before driving to the company. It was a short ride, if we didn't mention the irritating calls from Daniel telling me to hurry. He needed to finish some work which he started to late on. It didn't bother me much to help him. Lorenzo wasn't around lately, and Daniel did give some surprisingly good advice. I always needed a male role in my life, not certainly as a boyfriend, but just as a friend. I just needed people that could help me see the bigger picture. Grace was all about the details, while Daniel was just looking at the facts. I enjoyed his company. It was clearly more entertaining than sitting alone at home. Something was simply wrong at home right now and I didn't know what. I wasn't planning on finding it out too. I always ended up hating what I found, so I decided to play dumb and let them deal with the problems.
