Every single person in the cafeteria was left speechless. No one would have known that this new, small boy, would punch a tall, strong, jock like Brennen. Even the blonde boy himself was left speechless.

"What's wrong with you, Sam? You're just like him." Sam looked over at Colby, who had tears forming in his eyes. Then suddenly, he ran out of the cafeteria.

"Colby! Come back!" The blonde ran after the brunette, but couldn't find him.  "Where could he have went?" Sam mumbled under his breath. He then started walking around the school, and stopped when he heard quiet sobs coming from an empty classroom.

"C-Colby?"  The blonde said as he walked into the room, seeing a sobbing brunette. "S-Sam? W-what a-are you doing h-here? G-go a-away." Colby cried. Though he said that he wanted Sam to leave him alone, deep down he wanted the blonde to stay with him, and comfort him.

"I'm sorry Colby for what I did. I didn't really mean to punch Brennen. I just got really angry that someone was bullying my f-friend." Both the brunette and blonde's heart broke a bit at the word.  "Sorry if I startled you or anything. I promise I didn't mean to-" Sam started.  "It-it's fine. I just overreacted." Colby told the blonde.

They both sat on the ground, in silence for a few minutes. Finally, Sam said something,  "Wanna leave? We can go do something."  The brunette smiled, then nodded.

"Where do you wanna go?" The blonde asked as they left the school.  "Wanna see if there is a place to explore?" Colby asked.  "Sure!" Sam smiled. The two of them got into Colby's car, and starting driving to find a place to explore. The ended up finding this big, abandoned, house.

"Do you think anyone lives here?"  Sam asked Colby.  "Not sure. It's really old that's for sure." The blonde nodded his head, then the two of them went inside the house.

The blonde and brunette have been exploring the big house for well over an hour, and that's when Colby got a phone call; a phone call from his dad. He answerd it. He knew if he didn't answer it, then he would be in more trouble than he already was.

~"h-hel-"
~"Why did you skip school you piece of worthless sh*t?!"
~"I-I d-don't k-know!"
~"You better get your a*s back home right the f*ck now. Or else your getting the beating of your life!"

The brunette's father hung up. By now, he was on his knees and sobbing hard. He didn't want to go home. But if he didn't, he would die.

"Don't worry Colby. Everything will be fine. Come to my house and I will get my mom to call the police on your dad. Then you might be able to live with me." Sam reassured Colby. The brunette nodded, and stood up shaking.

"T-thank y-you S-Sammy." The blonde blushed at that nickname, then said, "No problem Colbs." Then hugged the brunette.

Sam and Colby got into Colby's car, then the blonde drove him and Colby back to his house.
