The young brunette was almost in tears. 72 hours, that's 3 days. That means that Sam doesn't remember Colby.
"S-so he do-doesn't re-remember me?" Colby asked, with a shaky voice. "No. I'm afraid not. I am very sorry that you have to be in this situation." The doctor told the crying brunette. "C-could I-I atlea-least see h-him?" Colby asked. "Of course. I'm Dr. Lewis by the way."
The doctor led Colby into a room. He immediately saw Sam, laying on a bed, eyes closed, with bandages on his head. 'Poor Sammy.' Thought the brunette. "I will let you sit in here for a bit. I'll be back in an hour to check back up on Mr. Golbach." Dr. Lewis said. Colby nodded his head, then went over to a chair that was by the bed.
"I don't know if you can hear me or not, Sam, but I just want you to know that I love you so much. Even though you don't remember me, and you might think that I am this weird person who is just saying- nevermind." The brunette was upset, and worried. All these thoughts were swarming in his head,
'What if Sam doesn't want to become friends again? What if he doesn't end up loving me again? What is he going to think of me? Will be nice to me again? Will he become friends with Brennen and his friends? I think I'm just overreacted. He only doesn't remember things from the past 3 days. He should still be kind...'
The brunette has been sitting in the room for about half-an-hour now, and Sam hasn't said, or moved yet, and Colby has started to get more worried, "Please don't be dead. I don't want you to die. Please, Sam, wake up. You are the one person who makes me happy in this world, I don't want to be sad. I want to be happy-" Colby started, with tears forming his eyes. Someone had cut him off, "W-who's th-there?"
