"Adrienne" he breathed out. Her blue green eyes stared back at him "Hi,Uncle" she replied. They stood in what seemed to be like slow motion. He couldn't have been more proud to see the kid he practically raised in front of him. He opened his arms wide "Come here, kiddo". She couldn't help but hug him. A man she hadn't't't seen since she was seventeen years old. His arms warped around her. Adrienne found comfort and a sense of home. A place she hated with a passion was the place she called home. Commander Sanchez felt whole once again filled with pride but when he noticed bis child's missing ear brought him to reality. It brought back that night nine years ago in Gotham.

Adrienne leaned over a map of Gotham. Some buildings were new some were old but the alleyways and the streets were the same back when she first started living with the grumpy old bat "Where are you?" She whispered. She didn't just mean Agent Nelson.
"I, uh-- I didn't have cream but please tell me that you kicked that vegan thing, huh?" Commander Sanchez broke her train of thought. Adrienne chuckled slightly. But her face was stern as she took the mug with hot brown coffee "I wish you'd called" she spoke. He assured his kid "We're gonna find her". Adrienne ran her fingers through her hair "then let me help" she looks her Uncle in the eyes. "Neck tattoo that's new". "Dad--- i mean uncle I'm ready to come home and work for you" Adrienne darted her eyes to her surroundings. The Commander open his mouth "Adrienn-"
"Sir, the Mayor is thinking of canceling the movie in the park" one of his CROWS interrupted them. Sanchez sighed "tell him I'll be right there". The muscular agent walked away looking at the young female that stood in front of him. Adrienne placed the black mug on the table. "At least tell me who took her" Adrienne spoke trying to control her frustration and anger. "Ruthless spineless maniacs who frankly don't stand a chance against a Team of Ex- Navy seals and green berets" he told her darting his eyes away from the kid he raised. "And what about me? Uncle i served five years in the marines" Adrienne tried to nominate herself. Sanchez took a deep drink of his coffee and looked back at her stubborn hazel eyes and said "you take after you're old man and the Billionaire foster Dad. You're a female Bruce Wayne but unlike him you actually have a shot at making somthing of your life" He let out a sigh "Adrienne, you graduated from High School at the age of 10 and got you're Masters at sixteen with taking a break for a year. Enlisted that same year. You're only in your twenties" he tried to reason with her. Adrienne rolled her eyes at the same lecture she heard for years and years. "Bruce and Alfred was only the few people who was actually there for me. Helped me through trauma. After Mom and Sebastian died and after I lost my ear" Adrienne's voice grew dark "let me help the CROWS find Mia". Somthing in Sanchez felt guilty but Adrienne wasn't his daughter Biologically but she was his daughter. When he was Twenty-three his brother disappeared leaving his wife with two newborns. He remembers holding her in his arms "It's great to see ya but i gotta go" he dismissed her. Adrienne felt somthing rise in her. Was it anger disappointment or betrayal.

Two and A Half Years Ago....
A not so tall yet not so short female dressed in marine uniform with her black hair in a ponytail made her way down a dirt road to a wooden shed. She hanged up the clipboard in her hand. Little did she know she was being pulled by a women slightly taller than her behind the shed put lf sight "how about we don't get kicked out before we go on leave" Mia Nelson smiled at Sargent Adrienne Wayne. She kissed Adrienne on the lips. "About that how about when we are on mandatory leave I take you to the Greek isles for a week alone on a yacht?" Adrienne kissed Mia back. "Alone? But, like with a chef?". Both of them chuckled "obviously".
Adrienne digged in her pockets. She flicked open her Swiss craving knife. "Oh shed all the things you've seen" Adrienne sang as she craved into the wood. "Defacing school property" Mia smiled as Adrienne gave her the knife "heh why not. You've got me to break every other rule" Mia chuckled.
. On the shed was written AW + MN With a heart around it. And they continued to make out but little did they know they got caught.
. "Sergeant Andromeda Wayne is there something you'd like to report to your squad?" a superior officer screamed Long enough for the whole base to hear. Adrienne glared at the person whom tattled "Not that I'm aware of, sir" she shouted back. Mia's worried expression looked at Adrienne "Perhaps, you're not aware of the academy's code of conduct"

Going to my Uncle was a mistake but there was a group of people that tough her how to defend herself and others. A black Yamaha SR400 rolled up to a tall black gate. Adrienne took off her helmet. Her eyes couldn't help but to see the overgrowth of weeds and plants over the tall black gate. Adrienne took a moment and just stared at the gates that held her captive for many years. Growing up with the grumpy bat is not as good as it seems. Bruce trapped her in the life of a vigilante by eight and had the press breathing down her back shortly after. Adrienne always knew the reason why Bruce Adopted her. She breathed in the cold dusty air and blew out. She dragged her black combat boots to the buzzer and pressed the botton "Adrienne Wayne here to see Bruce Wayne" she spoke clearly. The sun was getting ready to take its rest. Orange, blue and pink filled the sky. "Full name, please". That voice didn't sound British. "Dick" Adrienne sighed. The only thing that came out of the speaker was "Full name". Adrienne groaned "Andromeda Mary-louise Wayne". The tall black gates covered in weeds moved slowly open.
. ~~ ☆ ~~
Adrienne pulled up in front of Wayne Manor. Her prison for twelve years. Everything was the same on the outside and yet new.
Her pale knuckles knocked on the tall brown door. The last time she was here was when Bruce brought her home from the hospital. She remembers Dick, Barbara and Tim greeted her with a light blue frosted cake with "Welcome Home" in aqua icing. She remembers how Dick got embarrassed when Barbra noticed the "C" and the "E" in "Welcome" was upside down. This place had some good and bad memories.
A dog came running and knocking down Adrienne off her feet. The dog went on her chest and started to lick her face "Duke, Good to see ya too buddy"
"I'm sorry" a voice spoke as a older man came with a leash"Duke" the British voice spoke. A older man answered; this man wore a his usual tux and had a giant bold spot on his head. "It's been along time,Alfred" Adrienne replied as she started to stand up. The older man eyes grew wide at the sight of the young women he hadn't seen in along time. He quickly pulled her in a hug. She hugged him back. "Sorry, Welcome home Master Adrienne" he regained his composure. Alfred Pennyworth straightened his tie and held open the door for the women in leather with a tan and black colored husky German shepherd mixed followed behind her with his tail waging in the air.
Adrienne walked in the manor; her eyes looked around the grand ball room where Bruce would host his parties and she would seek out to sing at a local bar or drink sometimes both. She started to inch Duke. "Thanks for taking care of him while I was away, Alfred" she said. "No problem Master Adrienne. But Duke after you left never left the front door waiting for you" Alfred informed her. Duke was a good dog. Back when Adrienne was in the military they had this program with dogs. The Solider would train the dog to attack and sniff for bombs.
"Adrienne" broke her thoughts. A tall man pale man that needs a haircut spoke. "Dick" she punched his shoulder. He couldn't help but chuckle.
Dick Grayson was kinda a big brother and Adrienne was his little sister. When Batman was in a bad mood. Dick and Adrienne went on patrol. They can't count how many scrapes they got each other out of over the years. "How's that team of sidekicks of yours doing?" Adrienne asked Dick as they headed down the long hallway of despair. He replied "I'm kinda running it now". Shrubs of elephants and other animals heads layed on the ground. A boy with deep black hair laid next to a sword passed out. He was wearing a form of league of Assassins uniform. He almost looked like Bruce Wayne Jr. . "Who's the kid". "Long story".
~~ ☆ ~~
"I was surprised when you told me you didn't join the league in one of you're congrats you left Gotham packages " She mentioned as they walked down to the current bat-cave. Duke followed but went to grab his favorite chew toy "I like where I am now, same with Wally". Adrienne nodded as her hand touched the display case with her old uniform"but you hold the record of rejecting Batman. I was surprised when he didn't make you join the team and went straight up to the IJLSA membership"Dick told her "we we're all jealous". She took a deep breath "Remember when I helped Bruce with the plans to neutralize the IJLSA then I left for the Marine's shortly after" Dick nodded at her words. "Bruce sent me one letter saying he left the IJLSA due to unpopular opinions about the plans. That moment I realized I don't need to have people who try to play god justify what I think is right at the moment. And if they couldn't see the dangers of an out of control League I wanted nothing to due with it" Adrienne saw her reflection on the glass. A women full of scars trying to be someone stared back at her. "And how's Barbara? Treating her right?" . Dick nodded "she's good" as they walked up to the display case in the bat-cave that held the original Robin suit and four others. But at the end was a Suit not like the others. It was made out of a light metal and Kevlar. "Why do we only talk about my love life. How's you're girlfriend of yours in the marine's?" Dick stretched out his back. "That's why I came her for" Adrienne answered "a few nights ago someone kidnapped her and left nothing behind no evidence or foota-" Adrienne thought for a moment "Wayne Enterprises" She whispered. "Thanks Dick for the help but i gotta go" Adrienne ran as fast as she could out of the door.

So I needed to Find her so I needed to go to the one place that always seemed to have the answers. To the heart of Gotham which just happened to have eyes all over the city
Adrienne parked in bike in front of Wayne Enterprises. A tall building with a giant W at the top of it. The walls of the entrance was filled with graffiti and homeless people gathered around barrels with fire flaming in them. Police siren's filled the cold chilly air. Adrienne noticed the entrance had a giant pieces of wood covering it with lock saying "Sorry We are closed please connect us and someone from our new location"
Adrienne started to climb up the steep concrete building. Pulling herself up from ledge to ledge without trying to fall. The rain from earlier made it slippery. Adrienne quickly pulled herself up. A large enough window caught her eye. She peered inside of the dark window. The room was filled with mops, buckets ans other cleaning supplies. But a hole in the screen allowed her to open and slide into the building.
~~ ☆ ~~
Knocking down the door to a empty, dark and cold room which once was her adopted Father's office. At the sight of his empty desk a scorching pain started to pound in her head
"Mr. Wayne isn't in his office, come on" a little girl's voice echoed throughout the room. "We're not supposed to be in here" a boy's echoed in her head. Giggles echoes the room making it seem like a wonderful place Rather the dim and gloomy place it truly was.
Adrienne grabbed a corner of a white sheet and pulled it. Dust flew everywhere. Underneath the white cloth and the dust was an untouched desk where Bruce used to just sit for hours at a time. Adrienne places her hand on the amber wood desk; she took a deep breath. Her deep green and blue eyes turned into sliver cat eyes and she murmured words.
A young girl with long deep brown hair and a boy with a ponytail appeared laughing and spinning in the desk chair. A light blue ghost showed two children both looked about seven.
"Whats that?" A pearl necklace caught the little girls eye "Why does Bruce have a girl's necklace?" A familiar voice spoke. "I don't think we're supposed to touch that" the boy spoke. "Come on, Sebastian" the girl started to run down the hallway and the boy followed. That name 'Sebastian' caught her attention. "What we're we doing here?" She asked out aloud. Did she and Bruce have a connection before he adopted her? Questions started to pile up. Her head pounded to so hard but she didn't know why. Adrienne was told that she hit her head so hard during the night she lost her twin brother and Mother that only fragments of memories before that. Memories came and went as they pleased.
"Step away from the desk!move!" Broke her away from the memory. She grabbed a paper clip from the drawer and put her hands in the air. "Wayne security" he turned on the lights and held what seemed to be a stable gun in hand. "Not to tell you how to do you're job. Mr...". "Luke". Adrienne nodded "Luke, your boss is my father". Luke was about 5,4. Two inches taller than her. Her wore glasses with big black frames. His skin was dark and his hair was black and poofy. He grabbed her wrists one by one "Think you're the first squatter I've met related to Bruce Wayne. First of all he doesn't have any blood children and second how the hell did you get in here" he said as he cuffed her wrists. "Adopted. Adrienne Wayne I have a few memories here" she said "and Bruce was my mean, sometimes fun, stern adopted Father figure that was never there and you live in a small fish bowl". Luke rolled his eyes as he started to escorting her out "when's his birthday?" He asked. "February 19". He stopped in his tracks for a brief moment. "Middle name?". "Trick question. Don't have one". "Favorite soup?". Adrienne chuckled "that's a weird question. Do you know that?".
They stood in front of the main security door. Luke took off his big framed glasses "if you are his adopted daughter than you know that no one has seen him in 3 years" he spoke as he held his eyes close to the scanner. The big expensive door opened; Luke grabbed Adrienne by the forearm and her cuffed wrists and pulled her in the room. In thus room had big TV screens monitoring security camera footage. He placed her in front of the old fashion drives and blinking lights. He gestured for her to stay put. She nodded.
He walked over to the desk and dialed a number on the phone. "Hey, yeah. Luke Fox over at Wayne here" he spoke over the phone. As his eyes weren't facing her. She pulled down the paperclip she took from the desk and started to unlock and got lose from these chains. "Yeah, i got another B&E for you" he continued on the phone. He placed it down and crossed his arms. They stood in silence for a moment.
"Bruce gave me a piece of advice grow into the person you needed as kid" she broke the barrier. Luke scuffed "that's nice, police on their way" he informed her. "Oh. It-it turns out that the person that i needed as a kid" she continued. Luke reached for her handcuffed hands "could do this".
Adrienne grabbed him and pushed him against the wall. She grabbed on side of the cuff and cuffed him to the metal bar on the wall. She quickly grabbed the keys off of his belt. "Hey! Get these handcuff off me right now" Luke demanded as Adrienne went for the computer. "Password still Alfred" she mumbled. "Hey!" Luke continued to struggle to break free from the cuff. "You might want to change that" she told him as she started to go through the security footage over the last 68 hours. "Wait you cant" Luke started to walk towards her but didn't get anywhere near her "can you just step away from the computer please?" He started to yank on the handcuff "what are you doing?".
"What the CROWS aren't able to do" Adrienne replied as she plugged in a hard drive. She quickly got what she needed and locked everything up like no one has touched it. She unplugged the drive and started to walk out. "Hey!!" The boy shouted at her. Adrienne stopped in her tracks. Her face twisted into a smile and dropped the keys to the hand cuffs a few feet from Luke. And she walked out without any remorse.
"I see the relation now"

"Uncle, I think I found something" Adrienne greeted a dark empty penthouse apartment. Somthing was off Adrienne felt in her gut. The room with old photos covered the walls.
"SURPRISE!!!"
Adrienne jump as the lighted turned on and so many people shouting. A banner was hanged up in the back 'Missed you Adrian"
"Keep us waiting, why dont you?" Killian her step-brother but technically her cousin greeted her. He wore a fleshy blazer with nothing underneath. "Hi" Adrienne said awkwardly. "Hi" Killian hugged her. He towered over her. "Killian, you spelled my name wrong. It's A-d-r-i-e-n-n-e" she mentioned to him. "Oh well. I haven't spelled it right for over a decade" he chuckled. "Anyway do you know where my Uncle is?". "No idea because you and me cotton candy shots now" a slightly drunk Killian giggled as he pulled Adrienne in the party.
"So I'm on the roof The Hatter is threatening to kill literally everybody and the first thought that pops into my brain is 'oh, my god what a bummer now I'll never read to my future children Alice in Wonderland but then I was like "oh, Killian rearranging you're entire life out of fear is exactly how the terrorist win. No offence" Killian rambled. Adrienne's eyebrows frowned "why did you call me?". Killian took a shot and said "I might of found a box of pictures in you're closet when i was borrowing you balenciaga t--". "Never mind" Adrienne interrupted him. "Look I dont know your drama, but we a got a box of pictures somewhere. I just thought you'd want to be here" Killian spoke the truth. Adrienne wanted nothing to do with Gotham or her Uncle or Batman. Adrienne spent years running from her box of pictures.
"Welcome home,Adri. I hope you don't mind my making you the center of attention to night" Miss. Hamilton- Sanchez spoke so sweetly. Auntie Miranda eyes grew a bit wide at the hole in the side of Adrienne's head where her left ear used to be. "No place I'd Rather be". "Then let's make sure were posting happy photos to our social media accounts" Miranda assured the children darting her eyes away from Adrienne's missing ear. "Because why wouldn't this party have an agenda" Killian raised his eyebrow. Miranda told them "if we feel safe than our clients feel safe, movie in the park is Friday and its Gotham's first public event in three years" Miranda smile was always somthing Adrienne felt uncomfortable with. "Anyway, the Councilwoman would like a photo Killian" Miranda looked at Adrienne "excuse us"
Miranda always treated Adrienne like she wasn't family. Like a person she just had to deal with for her man. Adrienne turned to the photo on the wall with Mia and Her Uncle.

"I hereby dent the below allegation of homosexuality conduct" Adrienne's voice greeted Mia as she walked out of a Military courthouse. Adrienne was leaning on her motorcycle smiling "blah, blah, blah kiss my ass" Adrienne continued. Mia walked up to her in their Military prison uniforms. "That's that than" Mia replied as Adrienne started to rip a piece of paper. Adrienne had a devilish smile on her face and said "what do you say we burn these and scatter the ashes across the Mediterranean" Adrienne tossed the piece of paper away. Mia's expression was different. It was sad and lonely "I cant. I'm staying" she told Adrienne without looking at her in the eyes. Adrienne's face dropped "you signed it" Adrienne was only a few inches away from Mia. Mia looked at the ground "I told them what they wanted to hear". "You lied". Mia nodded "I need this school ok? I want to be here"Mia tried to reason. Adrienne spoke "but they don't want you". "Unfortunately i don't have the luxury of being offended by that". Adrienne frowned and anger grew. Adrienne hated it when people brought up her last name and where it was from. "And maybe its better if you keep your distance from now on". Adrienne's cold hands grabbed Mia's. "I know you love me" she started to speak looking into Mia's dark brown eyes "tell me that I'm wrong and I'll walk away and let you make the biggest mistake of your life" Adrienne was holding back any sort of emotion. Mia gained courage and looked Adrienne in her hazel eyes "youre wrong, Adri" Mia spoke. " I have to go" Mia walked away from somthing she'd later regret for the rest of her life.

Adrienne looked around; people laughing, having fun, drinking too much. Her heart pounded twice as fast. Her head scorched woth pain as the lights and laughter filled her ear. Her Uncle was talking to his employees. Three men stood around poking on a tablet. Her throat burned without taking a shot. Memories filled her head. She shook it all off like her emotions.
"Uncle" she gained his attention "I have somthing". The look on his was read it all to her.
"Where did you get this" her Uncle's deep voice said as the camera footage played in a private room. "Waynes camera feed isn't on the CROWS network" She spome slowly. "Wayne's defunge"
"Not sure how faical rec's supposed to work here" Agent Dodgson said "they're in masks". Four people re-watch the footage over and over again. "Wait" Adrienne said finally "what does that paddle say?". Dodgson rewind and zoomed in on the paddle "Milk, well behaved, Ch". Adrienne frowned and thought outloud "Not for the mild well behaved child. It was their creepy disciplinary motto". "Who's motto?" Her Uncle questioned her. "The Rurniside orphanage. Me and Sebastian used to sneak in there with our ouija board and freak each other out then me and Dick did it i-" Adrienne stopped herself "that's where they are". Uncle Sanchez looked slightly proud at his daughter "I want eyes all over this. Dodgson cover the North entrance with me. Banks tales his team on the south" he told his flock. Somthing was missing "Adrienne" or somone. The roar of a motorcycle engine gave him his answer.

Daughter like Father Adrienne wound up at the old orphanage covering her bike with leaves and dead branches. Finding her way inside the old, dirty orphanage Adrienne walked down the long hallway feeling like somone was following her.
Footsteps echoed down the hallway. A slight bell rang followed. Behind the young women was a man with a muscular frame grabbed a paddle. At first he walked casually behind the uoung women. But the closer he got behind her the more ready be was about to take his shot. But little did he know she was ready for him. Adrienne stopped for a moment as the man behind her took his swing with a big piece of wood. She grabbed it and kicked him in his stomache. Adrienne half turned and half stepped back, toward the door, a fluid quarter circle, shoulders and all, and like she knew they would the two guys moved toward her, faster than she was moving, off-script and involuntary, ready to grab her. Adrienne kept it going long enough to let their momentum establish, and then she whipped back through the reverse quarter circle toward them, by which time she was moving just as fast as they were, two hundred and fifty pounds about to collide head-on with four hundred, and he kept twisting and threw a long left hook at the left-hand guy. The Rabbit hit the ground. Adrienne grabbed the Rabbit by his raggy dirty white collar and punched him in his jaw. "Just like old times" she whispered as men on the grpund groaned in pain.
She hid behind a wall as an elevator *ding* openee the sliding doors. She heard the click of shot gun. Going be instinct Adrienne quickly grabbed hold of it and pushed its welder into the elevator metal walls. As his finger pulled the trigger Adrienne put her back on the shooter making the gun point down so the bullet hit the ground and using her body weight to knock him to the ground. With her foot smashing his race on the groung nighty night.
The elevator door opened behind her. A man waering the same uniform grabbed her and slammed her to the wall. Adrienne's back scorched in pain. He grabbed her by the collar of her leather jacket. His hand grabbed her left hand but she punched him with her right kocking him to the ground.
Man dressed as a hare rather than a simple white Rabbit grabbed her by her waist pinning her to a wallm she pounched him a few dozen times in the face trying to break free. On a tray behind her was a frying pan. Adrienne's fingers warped around lever and hi the man holder her with it.
