Luis felt his heart shatter. You left without turning back, not even a glance at him.

"Y/n!" He pulled at his hair, his eyes watering a bit, Connie was the first to shove him back "you just don't get it do you" she shook her head at him "don't just fucking stand there you stupid shit!"

Adam pushed Luis forward, Luis quickly skated off the rink, taking off his gear and sprinting out to find you.

You wiped your eyes, you didn't want to cry, he wasn't worth crying over. Were those two years nothing to him?

You grabbed your gear stuffing it in your bag before walking out. It was that long of a walk home, the sun was setting making the sky illuminate with gold.

"Y/n!"

You turned to see Luis running towards you. "Fuck me" you rolled your eyes trying to make it seem like you weren't just crying.

"Y/n, wait please"

"What do you want" you gripped your back but didn't stop walking. Luis ran in front of you panting a bit "I'm sorry"

You sighed "you already said that"

"Let me finish" he swallowed before continuing "I'm sorry I'm a shitty boyfriend, I'm sorry you felt jealous, I'm sorry I left you out, I'm sorry I'm not better"

"I don't have time for this anymore Luis" you sighed trying to get past him "I already said it's over"

"Babe please don't do this" his voice was desperate "I need you"

"No you don't" you were getting angrier as you dropped your bag, looking up at him "I try to spend time with you and you cancel on me, I remembered our anniversary and you forgot, I want to make this work but you've already given up, what do you expect me to do? I'm not going to stand here and wait for you, while you go on and fall in love with this other girl, Luis"

"I'm sorry baby, I'll make it up to you I promise, I just can't lose you, I can't live without you, I need you in my life" he quickly wiped his cheek, that's when you realized he was crying. Your eyes scanned him.

"That's what you say every time"

"No please babe-"
He was about to finish his sentence but was interrupted by Annie, you weren't surprised to say the least.

"Hey Luis, Y/n" she gave a small smile "remember you promised to drive me home"

You gave a small sarcastic laugh before looking at Luis again "see ya around Mendoza" you picked your bag up bumping onto his shoulder before continuing to walk away. You felt him grab onto your wrist holding you back.

"Annie sorry I can't, I have to drive my girlfriend home" he glanced at you "Ask Julie, she's chill with it". Before Annie could respond, Luis was already on his way to his car, with you still by his side.

You only sighed in response "You can do whatever you want Luis, i'm really not your problem anymore"

"see that's when you're wrong" he turned to face you "You are my problem, why? because you're my girlfriend, and I care about you, and I want you to know and realize that not one girl will ever be able to replace you" his hands took hold of yours "I only want you, I only need you, I'm a mess if I'm not with you, just as long as I know you're my girl that's all i'll ever need to be happy, and if I can't have you then I don't want anyone"

You didn't know if you could believe him, he always apologized but never changed, it was an ongoing cycle. He must have noticed the debate going on in your head because he sighed, bringing your hands up to his lips and giving them a gentle kiss.
"If I could change the past I really would, but I can only change how the future will be, and all I know is I need you in it"

"I believe you" you spoke up, Luis looked at you, you could see the happiness radiating off his eyes. "But one more wrong move, and it's completely over"

Luis nodded quickly, a smile spreading onto his face before he leaned down and kissed you. You had forgotten how you got butterflies when he kissed you, it had been months since the last time it happened.

"I don't want to lose you" he whispered while hiding his face in your neck, his hug was warm, his arms pulling you closer by the waist, you sighed in happiness before wrapping your arms around his neck "You never will"
