"Ducks Ducks Ducks!" Everyone chanted as they went in for a group hug. You had just won the finals in hockey.

"Alright back it up guys" Coach Bombay laughed, you smiled backing away while taking your helmet off, Luis doing the same and sending you a wink.

"You guys did amazing, I am very proud of all you. We practiced hard for this and we did exactly how we thought we would, now go on and change winners" Coach excused you guys to go. Luis kissed your cheek as you headed to the locker room "you did awesome beautiful"
You smiled up at him "thanks cutie"

Connie quickly came between the two of you "wow Luis, let me have my girl"
Luis rolled his eyes at Connie before skating off to Adam. Connie turned towards you "have you told him"

You shook your head looking at how happy Luis was "I can't". Connie sighed opening the locker room "you're gonna have to do it soon y/n, or it'll hurt him more when the time comes"
She was right. You were moving to another state, you didn't know if you would ever come back.

Sighing you nodded before following her in the locker room, you haven't really thought when or where the right time to tell him was. You didn't want end things between the two of you, you loved him too much.

You grabbed your bag and walked out to Luis already waiting by the door for you, his face brightened when he saw you "you ready?"

You nodded giving him a smile, he took the bag from you setting it in the back seat of his car. You got in the passenger seat, your mind racing quickly on thoughts about how or when you should tell him.

You were quiet the ride home, Luis instantly knew something was wrong, he however didn't push it. Instead he took hold of your hand, causing you to look at him, he sent you a smile. How you were going to miss that smile.

He took a different turn, not the one leading to your house, your eyebrows scrunched in confusion as you looked around "where are we going?"

"You'll see" he winked at you before focusing on the road again, he came to a stop.
You remembered this place, it was where the two of you shared your very first kiss, it was a cute hill, where the sunset was setting beautifully.

"Come on" Luis urged you out of the car, you followed behind him as he leaned on his car watching the sunset "you remember this?" He asked you

You nodded a small smile appearing on your face "I always will"

His hand took hold of yours before kissing it gently "are you going to tell me what's wrong"

Your heart dropped, your eyes fell before sighing you took your hand out of his. How do you even start?

Luis immediately grew nervous "mami what's wrong? Did someone do something? Did I do something? I swear if it's about me leaving all my clothes on the floor I'll pick them up"

You laughed softly cutting him off, the sun was doing him good. The way the sunset outlined his features perfectly with the golden hour. He was beautiful. He was yours.

"Mami, what's wrong" his voice was softer

"I'm moving Luis"

You saw his face drop even more "like moving houses?"

"No no" you looked down "moving states"

His heart seemed to drop, his throat felt tight. Like he wanted to cry. You looked back at him only to see him already looking at you. You've never seen that look in his eyes before, completely broken.

"I'm sorry, I know I should have told you sooner, but I just didn't want to accept the fact that I would have to leave you" your lip quivered.

Luis felt his throat tighten again, he couldn't say anything. He was mad, sad, stressed, what would he do without you?

"I'm so sorry" you let out.

Luis quickly pulled you into a hug, his face buried on your neck. You felt his tears fall on your shirt. He shook softly, he was crying "please don't leave me"

You hugged him back, no words exchanged after that, just tears.
He pulled back from you, his eyes red as he looked at you. His hands softly grabbing your cheeks to pull you into a soft kiss.

The same feeling from when the two of you kissed for the first time.

The butterflies.

He pulled back resting his forehead against yours, you felt tour heart ache. It was a pain you'd never thought you'd experience.

Moving day had finally came. You and Luis haven't talked since that night. He didn't even show up to practice.
You didn't know what had happen to him, but he was a mess. He knew that if he kept seeing you for your last few days of being there, that he would never get over you.

"No sign of him?" Your mom asked as she shut the trunk of the car. You shook your head no. You needed to leave for the airport immediately or you would miss your flight.

"I'm sorry hun" she gave you a sympathetic smile before getting in the car, the rainy weather described your mood perfectly.

"Let's go" your dad patted your back "we're gonna miss our flight, he's not coming Y/n" he sighed getting in the drivers seat.

Your eyes stung as you looked back one final time, the cold rain dropping. You got in the car.
Your dad started the car, you watched as you drove away from your house one last time.

"Y/n!"

You heard your name being yelled out, you look back to see Luis drenched in the cold rain water, his hair sticking to his forehead

"I love you! I'll wait for you!" He yelled out as he ran as far as he could. You covered your mouth as tears escaped your eyes watching him slowly give up running. His figure getting out of view, until you couldn't see him anymore.

Luis looked at where your car had disappeared to, his tears being covered up with the rain "just wait for me too"
