Chapter # 8

Waking up to the sound of my office door opening, I sat straight hurriedly, waking my mind up at the process as I looked over to the door to see a person whom I thought was Cole.

"Uhhh Good evening what may I help you with?". I ask in my sleepy state.

"I'm sorry to interrupt your slumber miss, but its midnight already". The guy in the other side of the room chuckled lightly.

"If so what are you still doing here?". I asked, my heart beating as unwanted thoughts started to play in my mind.

Is he a robber? A spy?

"Is it not ok for me to go to my office this late at night?". He asks as he went near me.

As he neared I saw a white skinned , raven haired guy. He was tall, he has a pointed nose, luscious lips and perfect build.

"Sorry sir but this is my office".I said as I stood up.

As I stood up, he paused for a minute surprised as he stared at me.

He then sighed.

"I am Klaus Heinsten the secretary of the CEO of this very Industry, sir Cole Anderson". He introduced himself as he shook his hand out to me, Still not trusting him I held my security high.

"Allistria Cruz, I am also his secretary". I said as I shook his hand back.

He smirked as I put my hand away hurriedly.

"You must be the new kid, its a pleasure to meet you". His tone of voice suddenly changed.

"Is it even ok to have two secretaries?".I ask.

"In your situation yes, your here to observe, take note and stuff, while I do the real work".He said as he sat down at the couch.

What does that even mean?

"You should head home already". He said as he closed his eyes.

Looking at him , he looks tired, seems like many others also has bad experiences this year.

"You should too". I said still looking at him.

"I am home". He said as he opened his eyes and pointed towards the locked door at my office.

I forgot to ask Cole about that door, but since we were busy I was not able to do so.

"What do you mean?". I ask as curiosity was clear in my voice.

He just stood up, shuffled through his pockets and grabbed his keys, and to my surprise it did open.

"Sir Andrew gave this space to me". He said as he leaned beside his door.

"You must be someone special to him then". I said .

"Maybe? But if I were I would not be in this state or position right now". he said as he muttered those words quietly.

He cleared his throat.

"You better start going home now, work starts early later". He says as he went inside his room and closed it.

As I started heading out I heard him say one more thing...

"Good night"

NEXT DAY

As I entered my office, I saw Klaus already seated in my desk.

"Good morning princess". He greeted teasingly.

"Good morning, may I have my desk back already?". I said as I stood in front of my desk.

He just smirked and stood up as well, and to my surprise... he pinched my cheeks hard.
