Emiko POV
I broke the kiss after 3 seconds .
It was an awkward silence for a minute.

" Come on , we're about to be late . " I said , trying to change the subject .

" It's only 2:17 though ". Ray said

" Well the earlier the better . " I said as I got out the car and walked towards to doctors office .

He eventually got out the car and followed behind me .

We walked up to the front of the building
" Are you going to open the door for me or ... "

Ray opened the door.
" After you , Emiko ". He said in a sarcastic voice.

I gave him a look as I walked through the door.

"Hello! How may we you today?" The receptionist said as she greeted us with a smile .

" I'm here for an appointment ". I said .

" And your name ? "

" Emiko Smith " .

" okay , your appointment is set for 2:30 and you're a little early . Here's some paperwork you can fill out while you wait in the waiting " She pointed to the room on the left .

" Thank you " I said as I grabbed the clipboard and pen out her hands.

We walked to the waiting room and sat down . After I finally finished all the paperwork , a nurse came to the door.

" Emiko Smith ? " She said looking around the room.

" Here . " I said as I stood up.

" Follow me , I'll take you to your room ". She opened the door for us.

We walked down the hallway and went into the last room on the right.

" here's your room ,Your doctor will be here in a few. You can sit here ". She said , pointing to the examination bed.

"Okay". I said as I climbed onto the bed.

" Oh and the bathroom is right down the hall just incase you need to use it before Dr. Sato comes in ". The nurse said as she left out the room

" How are you feeling ?" Ray said as he walked towards the bed.

" Pregnant. Stressed. Tired . Stressed. "

"It's almost over . she'll be here soon , okay ? " He said as he laid his hand on my stomach .

Ray pulled up a chair next to the examination bed as the doctor came into the room.

" Hey Miss Emiko , how's everything going?" Dr. Sato said

" Fine , for the most part . " I replied back

" are you eating right and taking all your vitamins too? "

" I haven't used them yet , but I do have some ". I said

" Well that's good , just made sure you take them ". Dr. Sato said as she sat down in the chair at her laptop desk .

" I'm just going to ask you a few questions today ". She said

"Okay " I replied back

" first , Are you feeling really nauseated at times ? ". She asked

" Well, I do but not that often ".

" Okay , that's normal . " She typed it into her computer

" Have you felt the baby move around yet ? "

" Yes, she's a kicker alright ". I said laughing .

" That's good . "

" Okay one last question. How are you feeling emotionally ? Are you worried or stressed or anything of that nature ? " Dr Sato asked

" im not the happiest person at times .. but i try to stay strong . for the baby that is ".

" If you're feeling stressed it's possible that you can effect the baby's weight at birth and other things such as the development of the baby . but don't worry about it too much . just try to find peace . do yoga , listen to calming and soothing music . but your hormones are raging right now so some people need to understand that they're suppose to be comforting you instead of stressing you . other than that you're fine . " She said smiling at me .

She closed her laptop .
" Well that's it for today . just remember to take your Vitamins and all the other things I mentioned"

" Okay , I will " i said

" Alright guys , enjoy the rest of your day . " Dr Sato said as she left out the room .

Ray came up to me .
" ready ? " he grabbed my hand and helped me off the bed .

"Yea ". I said back.

We walked down the hall to the parking lot. I took the keys out my purse as we approached the car

" Here , I'll drive " he took the keys out my hands .

Ray opened the car for me. As I sat in climbed in.

He put the keys in the ignition and started the car.
" Put on your seat belt " he said as he backed out the parking space.

We drove down the road listening to music . Ray played Kid Cudi . He had the volume up super loud.

I reached over and turned it down some .
" She doesn't want to hear all that , Ray ". I said laughing .

" My bad ". He said laughing back.

He turned left into the turning lane.
"Where are you going ?" I asked him

"To my brothers house.. isn't that where I'm supposed to be going. "

"I thought you said you were ready to come back home ? " I asked him

" Oh , so you're letting me come home " he smiled

" It depends . Are you ready to leave your fuck boy habits in the past ? "

" I already left them. Im just focused on you and my princess. nothing else , I promise ". He rubbed my belly

Ray POV

it got darker outside as we drove home. Emiko had her head rested against the window . I couldn't tell if she was sleeping or not .

I pulled into the driveway and put the car in park .

" Emiko .. " I said while tapping her shoulder.

She didn't answer. I grabbed her purse out off the back seat. I got out the car and opened her door slowly so she wouldn't fall out the seat.

I carried her in my arms bridal style as I walk to the house. I could tell she wasn't sleep because she wrapped her arms around my neck as i held her.

I reached into my pocket and grabbed my set of keys to unlock the door.

Once we got into the house, I laid Emiko on the couch. I took her shoes off her feet and laid a blanket on top off her .

"get some rest queen " i whispered as i kissed her forehead.

As I got up to walk away , I felt her pull on my arm .

" I love you .. " she said

" I love you more baby "
