Chapter 10: Play Normal.

Raven barely went out of the room since the breakup. She would only come out to use the bathroom, make tea, or eat. The Titans were starting to get worried including Damian, he felt guilty since he was the one who did this to her. He did this so she wouldn't get hurt but this only gave her more pain to endure.

Kori decides to check on Raven to see how she was holding on.

She entered Raven's room only to see darkness and the only light source was the one outside the door. Raven was lying down on her bed facing the opposite direction so People who entered wouldn't see her face . "Raven, are you okay?" She asked. Only to be replied by a Raven with red eyes and dried tears marks. "Oh, Kori. Hi, What are you doing here?" "I came to check on you, the team hasn't seen you in a few days, you weren't in training or any socializing. Are you okay?" "Oh yeah sorry about that." She said then chuckled but Kori knew that the chuckle was fake. Her face explains it as well. "You can talk to me Raven" she said. Raven decided that she can't hide it anymore, she hugged Kori and sobbed. She broke down. "Its just that I took a risk to be with him, and I don't know why he wouldn't do it too. Probably my father was right, demons can't love" Kori grabbed her shoulders and pulled her out of the hug. "Listen, Raven it doesn't mean your a demon you can't love. Remember your half human too, and humans can love. Do not listen to you father okay?" "Okay" she said smiling. Kori was like a big sister to her and vice versa. "Now, you need to come out of your room. Being alone dosen't help your situation, friends and family do. We are all here for you, even Damian is worried about you." She stated wiping the empath's tears off. "Thank you, Kori" she said hugging her. "Your welcome dear Raven." They pulled away and then Kori went out of the room. Raven fixed herself up, she took a shower, fixed her hair, cleaned her face, removing the dried tear marks. Got her hood and book then left her room.

Everyone was un the common room. Jaime and Gar were playing video games, Kori and Dick were watching them play the game, Donna and Conner were using their phones, and lastly Damian was reading. Suddenly the doors opened to reveal a fresh up Raven, relax, calm, gorgeous. She had her book in her hand. Everyone was suprised of her appearance. They haven't seen her in days, Kori was smiling, happy to see Raven back out. "What?" She asked as the entire team was looking at her. "Everyone went back to what they were doing except Damian. He just stared at her. She sat down and opened her book. She noticed Damian staring and decided to speak up. "Yes Damian, why are you staring?" She said reading her book. Everyone looked at the both of them "Nothing" he said going back to his book. Everyone felt the awkward tension rise. They were talking like nothing happened between them.

After that everyone started leaving the room. Only Damian and Raven left. "Are you okay?" He asked going to her. "Yeah, why?" "Listen, I'm sorry for what I did , I really am" "Okay" she replied with a smile. "That's it, no scream, no angry demon?" She shook her head sideways to reply. He looked confused why Raven was alright and normal like nothing happened. Did she move on quick. Because sure as hell he didn't yet. When he left the room. Raven just sighed, she couldn't hold it any longer. Of course she was a bit mad but decided to play normal. She shut her book and meditated in her room to keep her anger at bay and not let it burst.
