Damirae: Love Unfolds.

2 Chapter 2: Find Out.

For the past few days, Raven tried to find out what was causing her gem to break. She would read books and study more about the gem, but sadly no result.

She arched her head back and groaned, she was tired yet she was still here, infront of her desk finding an answer. She turned her gaze to the clock on her nightstand.

2:00 AM.

She was shocked, she didn't know how long she has been reading there, until she saw the clock. She didn't care how late it was, she was finding a way for Trigon to stay trapped.

If he gets out, too much will be lost. Everything and everyone she loved and cared for, will be gone.

She turned her attention back to reading, trying to avoid the fact that everyone might die if she dosen't find a way.

She spent the next few minutes reading until her door slid open. She turned to see who visited her that late and to her suprise, it was Damian, holding a plate of waffles and tea.

"What are you doing up this late?" She asked the boy wonder walking towards her.

"I knew you were awake so I thought I'd give you a late snack." He said raising his hands to refer to the snacks he brought.

He gave her the plate of waffles and put the tea beside her books. "Thank you." She said with a warm smile.

"It's no problem, I know you won't listen to me when I say 'Stop and rest' so the best I can do is take care of you while you're doing this." He says sitting on ber bed.

Her smile grew wider because of his words. They were sweet and touching.

"What have you found?" He asks.

"Nothing so far, but I will keep reading." She answers tiredness in her voice.

"You know, you can get some rest first, then start again tomorrow with a clear head. With rest it'll be clearer." He suggests with a smirk.

She knows he was right, whether she liked it or not, she was tired. "You're probably right..." She thinks for a moment. "Fine, I'll rest, but only if you stay here tonight." She says.

He nods, "Deal." He answers, he gets under her covers and waited for her to join him. She puts her plate of waffles on her desk and runs to her bed.

She gets under the covers and into his arms. She snuggles her face in his neck, smelling his scent. She loved his scent.

Damian in return wraps his arms around the figure of the half demon. He loved the feeling of her in his arms, just her warmth and her figure squeezed to his. He always wanted these moments to last forever

"Goodnight beloved." He says kissing her temple.

"Goodnight Damian." She replies, a soft smile appearing on her face. She was relaxed and contented.

After a few minutes sleep took over the teens, and they fell to their own slumber.

THE NEXT DAY........

Raven woke up in Damian's arms, she loved the feeling of waking up beside the boy she loved the most. But it would all be gone if she didn't find a way to stop her father.

She slowly gets up from the bed trying her best to not wake up her sleeping boyfriend.

She succeeds, she went to her desk, opened the book she stopped on and started reading once again.

Almost all of things in there were useless except one page. It read:

A entity can be trapped in it's prison as long as the person connected to the prison is strong enough, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Whenever the person connected to the prison feels light emotions the entity trapped can use it as a loophole and try to escape. Light hearted emotions such as happiness, sadness, and love. It helps lower your guard and protection.

Raven's eyes widened in shock.

Love?! She thought. That was impossible, love is suppose to beat Trigon. Love was supposed to be power, not weakness.

She started to piece the puzzle,

If love and happiness helps the entity trapped escape that means.......

She realizes.

My love for Damian and the happiness I feel being with him lowers down my guard and weakens the chains of my father.

How will she do this? She loves Damian more than anything in the world, but she wants to keep him safe from her father. But her love for him will get him and everyone killed.

She asks again.

How will she do this?
