Chapter four:

I don't cry, I don't show weakness so why was I sat on Lissa'a bed trying my hardest not to cry? So much was going through my mind... I jumped into bed too quickly for the wrong reasons, how could I do that to Adrian? Dimitri, what must he think of me after seeing me at the clinic?
"Rose, tell me what's wrong? I know you always want to protect me but I can help", Lissa said as I felt her sit closer to me.

I really tried to hold it back but I just couldn't, I wasn't strong enough! "I slept with Adrian..." I said under my breath, "WHAT no way? When? How did it happen? Wait, why are you so upset at it? You finally did it!" Lissa replied, "oh god, i've made such a mistake liss! It wasn't my first time, Adrian was the second person I slept with and I think I slept with him for the wrong reasons but when I tried to stop it a second time, it almost happened again! When I'm with him, I-I just can't stop myself".
I did it, I finally revealed that which I have been holding on to for so long, well I didn't actually tell Lissa it was Dimitri I slept with, although she did try to find out.
"Oh Rose, you have made a mess haven't you. Maybe you didn't realise your feelings for Adrian were more until after you slept with him, wrong or right sex? But surely if you tried to slow things down and it didn't work, it actually means you don't want to stop?" Lissa said, all knowing and wise. Could she be right? Maybe I thought my feelings for him were nothing but an easy relationship until last night - maybe I am finally getting over Dimitri.

Lissa and I spoke for hours, she still tried to get it out of me who I lost my virginity to but I wouldn't budge. 'Knock, knock' Lissa'a head turned quickly, " Oh, I forgot Christian was coming over", I could NOT let him see me with red bags under my eyes, so I quickly wiped at my eyes but before I could finish, Christian walked in. "Rose Hathaway, the big bad ass showing a little humanity, never thought I'd see the day" Christian said with a smug look, before I could reply Lissa piped up, "hey, why don't you ask Christian, he's a man and we'll give better advice on the matter then me!"
"I think I'll pass thank you" I said glaring at Lissa, "let me guess, you slept with Adrian?" WHAT THE FUCK? I thought to myself!
"Oh come on, Adrian is walking around like he's just been crowned king of the kingdom, it's obvious really" Christian said.
I left soon after, without even saying bye!

Lissa POV:

When I dragged Rose back to my room, I had no idea it was going to be sex related - i know Rose seems the type to get around but she's really not, it took my by complete surprise when she told me she had sex with not 1 but 2 people! I wonder who she lost her virginity to, I have suspicions obviously but she wouldn't give it up and I wonder why?
"Are you alright Liss? Said Christian, I hadn't even realised Rose had left and that Christian was standing by my side. "Do you want to talk about it, you can trust me and Rose can even though we take piss out of each other sometimes" he continued. "I dont know Christian, I don't want to betray her trust but I am really worried about her, you already know about Adrian but there's something else, someone else and I can't figure out who it is", Christian looked completely surprised, maybe he thought it was all about Adrian, but he was also smart enough to know that Rose doesn't shed tears for anyone. " Are you saying Rose is with another man as well as Adrian?" Christian said harshly, "No not at all, I'm staying Adrian wasn't her first and certainly not her first love, there was also Dim..." shit, why hadn't I realised this sooner? I knew Rose loved him, I just hadn't put it together before now... Rose and Dimitri slept together. I just always thought it was one way with Rose and Dimitri, I mean he must have liked her but I could never imagine they both loved each other, and when? When could they do that? I mean, they were always training together in public areas, unless... after he turned... Did they have sex when he was a strigio!?
"Liss, what were you going to say? You can tell me!" Christian said, "I...I gave to go, I need to talk to someone", I got my coat and ran out the door as quickly as I could.
