Yoongi pushed the man against the wall and spit in his face.

"You fucking pervert. Can't keep your dick in your pants for two motherfucking seconds, huh? If you bother her ever again, I will cut that sad excuse of a dick between your legs off and shove it down your throat, did you hear me?" Yoongi threatened the man, with his hand wrapped firmly around his neck. His vulgarness shocked you for a second, leaving you wide-eyed. The man choked out a pathetic yes, pulling on Yoongi's arm, begging for him to let go of his throat. Yoongi tightened his grip, cutting off the air in the man's lungs completely for a moment before he let go. The man gasped for a air like a fish, coughing violently as he hurried upstairs.

Jangmi had watched the whole scene unfold, unmoving in her spot. She was shocked at Yoongi's aggressive reaction. To be honest she hadn't expected him to be this fierce and violent. He looked very intimidating in that moment, more than he usually did anyways.

When he turned to Jangmi,he let his eyes wander over her body. Eyes lingering especially long on her bare legs. Jangmi felt ashamed and exposed, pulling her skirt down a little.

"Thank you" she managed to croak. Yoongi looked at her full of disgust.

"You dress up like whore and expect not to get fucked ?" he spat, "It's time to put down your rose colored glasses and see things as they are. You are so naive, it's unbelievable. You live in a fucking ghetto apartment with junkies and gamblers. You are asking to get fucked, aren't you ? I mean you must be practically begging for it if you really have the guts to leave your house in this skimpy dress."

Jangmi's eyes filled with tears and her chin trembled. She felt extremely humiliated and degraded. Her pride was hurt major time, and she felt like a piece of shit. She hated that he could make her feel like this. Never in her life before had she felt this attacked by someone.

Yes, maybe he had just saved her from a nightmare, but he made sure to not give her the chance to feel relieved. Instead, he ensured that she understood what a whore she was. She felt like slapping him across the face, but she quite frankly didn't have the courage to. How could he belittle her as a woman like this ? So now it was her fault she was getting harassed by a total stranger ?

Yoongi's lip was busted and dry blood was around his nose. Jangmi could very well imagine him having gotten into a fight with someone after she had experienced his dark side seconds ago. Normally she would have felt bad for him but in that moment she could only think about how much he must have deserved to get beaten up.

"Fucking asshole"Jangmi cursed at him, holding back the tears. Yoongi scoffed, his expression unfaltering. He was so sick and tired of it all, he couldn't care less that he almost made her cry. All he wanted to do was lock himself in his apartment. When he saw this man cornering Jangmi, he felt his rage inside ignite again. In seconds, he had wrapped his hands around the man's neck, ready to strangle that disgusting piece of shit and be his last breath. He was so angry, not only because that pervert couldn't keep his hands to himself but also with her for leaving her house like that. Was she really this naive or was she asking for it ? As far as he could judge, he assumed she was an innocent and naive girl. This enraged him even more because he hated feeling responsible for her somehow. He couldn't take care of her and give her life lessons, tell her how to appropriately dress around here in this fucked up neighborhood. Yoongi didn't mess with other people's personal lives. The fact that Jangmi had just basically forced him to, made him furious. He hated that he couldn't just look away and ignore her. He couldn't have possibly left her hanging and that exactly made his blood boil.

Jangmi could not bear to look at his face anymore and pushed past him. Yoongi chuckled in disbelief, turning around and looking after her. She was seriously going out in the streets in that attire. He felt the strong urge to stop her and make her go back to her apartment, but he restrained himself. Crossing the line twice within a day would be too much for him.

Jangmi rushed down the stairs, trying to regain some composure. She couldn't cry now, not when Taehyung was probably already waiting for her outside. Biting hard on her lip, she took in deep breaths, pushing back the tears. Her make-up had taken her a lot of time and effort, she didn't want to ruin it because of him. It wasn't worth it. She shouldn't be taking his words this personally, but yet she felt deeply wounded by his choice of words. Did he really think that little of her ?

Before she left the building, she took a second to take one last deep breath. Putting on a forced happy face, she opened the door and as expected Taehyung was leaning against his car, waiting for her. Fortunately he didn't look her up and down as she would have expected, but only focused on her face, smiling brightly.

"You look good tonight" he complimented her and Jangmi felt like crying all over again. She was beyond thankful that Taehyung treated her with respect. Her heart grew even founder of him. After all that she had experienced just seconds ago, these tender words and pure intentions were like a gift.

"Thank you" Jangmi said in a quiet voice, very shy all of a sudden. She couldn't quite shake off how hurt she felt, but she would try to make the best out of the night for Taehyung.

"Shall we go then ?" he asked her, and she nodded her head in agreement. Taehyung opened the car's door for her and Jangmi climbed inside. Insecure about her bare thighs, she put her clutch on her lap, trying to cover up a bit. Soon enough Taehyung was also seated and drove off.

The atmosphere in the car was very comfortable, as they chatted about generic things. In a matter of minutes they arrived at the party.

The loud music was deafening, the bass shaking the floors beneath her feet. People were dancing and chatting, drinking and making out wildly, playing games and singing at the top of their lungs - over all everyone was enjoying themselves. Jangmi had attended a couple parties before, so she wasn't completely unfamiliar to this, yet she felt like she didn't belong in this scene. As Taehyung was greeting his friends, Jangmi awkwardly stood behind him.

"Hey guys, this is Jangmi, she's new" he then introduced her to his friends, who friendly welcomed her. They small talked for a while and even though they all seemed like nice people, all Jangmi could focus on was whether someone eyed her. She kept on fidgeting, pulling on her dress, checking whether her cleavage was showing too much. The incident before made her feel cheap and dirty. The whole scene kept on playing out in her head and Yoongi's harsh words kept on ringing in her ears.

"Hey," Taehyung's soft voice pulled her out of her thoughts, he was looking concerned as he leaned towards her. "Are you feeling alright ? You seem uncomfortable."

Guilt rising inside of Jangmi, she felt bad for acting so passive. None of what had happened were his fault but yet he was the one having to deal with the aftereffects.

"No,no, I am good really" she reassured, mustering up a small smile. Taehyung didn't appear to be very convinced as he watched her carefully.

"It's just-" Jangmi began and right in that moment she locked eyes with him. Loosing her train of thought, Jangmi felt her heart rate quicken as she watched him approaching a girl across the room. The girl had a grunge style and shoulder-length black hair with bangs. She looked gorgeous in her own unique way and surely was an eye catcher. Even though she barely knew her new neighbor, she oddly didn't feel surprised that he gravitated towards her. The girl seemed just like his type.

"What were you saying? Is something wrong? Do you know them?" Taehyung asked, following her gaze. Quickly adverting her eyes, she shook her head no.

"No" she lied, "I don't know them."

"Do you want something to drink? Water? We could also go outside for some fresh air if you like" Taehyung suggested, trying his best to make sure she was okay. He didn't like how pale her face looked and was worried that she might not be feeling well.

"Could you actually get me some water?" she asked him. Taehyung nodded his head immediately.

"Of course, just wait here for me and I will be back in a second" he told Jangmi, giving her a reassuring smile. You forced a smile on your lips as you nodded in agreement. As soon as Taehyung turned to leave, her eyes looked for him immediately. He saw the girl whispering something in his ear, standing very close to him. Jangmi watched him very closely, unable to take her eyes away. What was he doing here? As far as she knew he didn't even attend college, so what was he doing here? She stared him down with belittling looks. She felt disgusted with him. Maybe he wasn't much different to the scumbag that had harassed you. Seeing him nonchalantly stand there, not really sparing the girl a glance as she was all over him. Was this his general attitude? Couldn't he show any respect to any woman? When he looked up from his phone, he suddenly made eye contact with you over the shoulder of the girl. His facial expression hardened, and he clenched his jaw when he saw her.

"So this is where she was headed to" Yoongi mumbled to himself, staring at her.

"Hmm? What did you say?" Aera asked him, taking the drink in his hand and sipping on it. Yoongi couldn't care less about her, but Aera was someone who always stuck around. At every bar or party she found him and didn't leave his side until the morning came. She wasn't bothered by his cold attitude at all, she rather seemed to get off on it. Though he was irritated by her voice and bored of her conversations, he wouldn't dare to call her off. He was always so lonely. Sometimes he really needed someone to keep him company, to remind him that he was alive, existing in this empty world. Nobody every stuck around. But Aera always came back, even if she was only interested in satisfying her own needs. He didn't mind that she used him, because he was using her too.

When his eyes landed on Jangmi, Yoongi forgot about time and space for a moment, focusing his entire attention on her. His eyes were piercing through her skin, that is how sharp his look was. To see her standing there in that tiny dress with her hands folded in front of her, enraged him. She looked so timid in the midst of this craziness. She didn't fit into the frame at all. What was she doing here?

"Baby, I am tired of this lame party. Don't you think it's time for us to leave?" Aera said to him in a sultry tone, trying to be seductive. It did nothing to him. Unfazed, he ignored her, eyes fixed on Jangmi. He wanted her to leave this place immediately. It made him angry to see her here for some reason.

"What's up with you tonight? You seem so absentminded" Aera complained, playing with the collar of his black shirt. When she realized she wasn't going to get a reaction out of him, she followed his gaze, seeing Jangmi.

"Who is that?" Aera asked with a snappy tone, scoffing.

"None of your business" he immediately cut her off, pushing her away from him. "I am not in the mood to put up with you tonight Aera, you are giving me a headache."

Aera seemed unfazed by his hurtful words. They didn't effect her at all, she was used to his harshness. She even thought it was attractive. He was a challenge to her, and she loved making him give in to her once in a while. It got her off like nothing else. Yoongi shoved her aside as he pushed past her. He wanted to leave this place. Seeing Jangmi here had ruined the night for him. He was feeling angrier than before, and he knew that it could be dangerous if he were to stay. His face was bruised already, and he didn't feel like adding on the wounds.

Jangmi's heart was racing when she saw him head straight towards her, his cold eyes fixed on her. Her whole body froze and she felt unable to move. She couldn't look away and neither could she turn away. Yoongi walked past her not sparing her a glance as he directly headed for the front door. He was playing games. Jangmi felt a sting in her heart when he walked straight past her. She let out a breath which she hadn't even noticed she had been holding in. Feeling embarrassed for having assumed that he had been coming her away, she gulped hard, trying to stomach his passive aggressiveness. Why was he making her feel this way? She felt absolutely dirty and sick to her stomach. She looked for Taehyung, but he was nowhere to be seen. The room started to spin and she felt dizzy. She only wanted to get out of this place and back home. Heading to the front door, she hurried outside. Her chest felt tight, and she could feel tears well up in her eyes again. That night she swore to never attend a party ever again. It was dark outside, and she felt scared to walk home all the way alone. Her money wouldn't be enough for a taxi, and she didn't feel comfortable taking the bus with this dress on. Yoongi saw her come out of the house.

"For fuck's sake" he cursed, running a hand through his messy hair frustratedly. Is she really going home all alone in the night with that skimpy dress? He wanted to turn around and leave, but he couldn't. Who knew what might happen to her. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if something were to happen to her. But he was too prideful to walk her home. He didn't want her to think he cared because frankly he didn't. So he stood there watching her hurriedly walk down the street. He followed her with a safe distance, keeping an eye on her.

"Where's that boyfriend of yours now, hmm?" he mumbled to himself.

Jangmi safely arrived home. She shut her door and locked it as well, before she took of her heels and threw her purse in a corner. Not even a minute later she heard Yoongi's door close. Hadn't he left before her? Why did he only arrive now, she wondered. Her feet were hurting and she was cold. Changing into her comfy pajamas, she stuffed the red dress in the back of her wardrobe not wanting to see it again for a long time. She wasn't going to try to fit in anymore. Staying in her safe bubble probably was the best thing to do after all.
