TW: TALKS OF ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS AND RAPE!

3rd POV

"Izu, it's been a week come on. Todoroki hasn't been by at all. Just call him," Toga was once again trying to get Midoriya to stop moping around. "Aizawa got us phones for a reason idiot."

"I don't want to." Toga had now walked over. Unlike Midoriya, who still couldn't move due to his back injury, Toga was a good 1/4 of the way through recovery. Her ribs were healed completely, so her only real injuries anymore were her broken leg and her broken arm, which was healing spectacularly fast.

"Izu, look, you admitted that you liked hanging our with him and it's pretty obvious that you like like him, so why not text him at least?" Toga offered.

"I don't have his number." Midoriya made an excuse, staring at the window.

"Here, I'll give it to you-" Toga started.

Midoriya, however, quickly cut her off. "I don't need it."

Toga sighed, "One of these days, you are going to have to talk to him."

"Not when I go back to being a villain." Toga sighed again and was about to explain why Midoriya shouldn't become a villain, but their nurse walked in

"Good morning you two!" She exclaimed in her chirpy voice.
"Good morning Aki. Izu is in a bad mood again, don't even try talking to him." Toga said with a pout in her voice.

Aki laughed, "Well, no matter, you shouldn't be standing. I told you that rest is key to your recovery. You are already healing so well, don't jinx it." Aki rushed over and helped Toga hop back to her bed.

"What's for today Aki?" Toga asked to 20 something nurse. They had all grown quite a bond over the week the two had been hospitalized.

"Well today, Toga, you are scheduled to get your casts off, then put back on after a few X-rays. Midoriya, you are to be wheeled around the garden, just like you asked us to." Midoriya smiled at that, he hadnt been outside for this whole week, he could use some fresh air.

"Oh, could we get the cast thing done early, I wanna go on a ride with Zuku!" Toga exclaimed and Midoriya couldn't help the small smile that played at his lips.

"I'll schedule it in, I'll be back as soon as possible for Toga." Aki waved and left.

Midoriya smiled again, a little brighter. The only reason being, his mind wasn't on Todoroki at that point.

"So, maybe we could invite Todoroki on the walk...?" Midoriya's smile vanished and he looked away again.

"No."

----- Meanwhile - With Todoroki -----

"Shouto! You aren't focusing!" Enji's voice boomed throughout the Todoroki household.

Todoroki in particular was on the ground, burn marks and a black eye already forming. Of course he wasn't focusing. All he seemed to think about lately was Midoriya. What did he do wrong? How could he fix it?

"Even now! You aren't listening to me!" Todoroki fought the urge to snicker at his father. He always did find joy in making his father frighteningly angry.

"I am, I'm just not answering." Todoroki got up, smoothing the invisible wrinkles.

Todoroki's father should have been used to Todoroki speaking in such a cold manner towards him, but apparently he was having a bad day.

"Listen here you brat-"

"No, that's not how this is going to work. You are going to listen to me. My friend is in a hospital bed because of you. I told you exactly why I was with him and you didn't believe me." Truth me be told, Todoroki thought Midoriya was mad at him because of his father's actions. "Its your fault he is upset. You may be my father, however much I dislike it, but your hero license has been suspended until further notice, which means I could call the cops right now and have you arrested for using your quirk without a pros permission."
