THE LIFE OF A FIELD AGENT

In the meeting room tensions were high, but it was dead silent. On the screen showed a photograph or a man holding a SHIELD file, and when looking at the file number, 71205, it was photos of her.

"This man has been recognized as Ougai Mori. A Port Mafia executive." Nezu explained, his usual smile strained.

"Port Mafia? That's an odd name." Madaline grumbled, still pissy that she had to wake up and see this.

"Port Mafia is a group of quirk users that control crime in a not-so... kind way."

"Torture, interrogation, you name it, they've done it." Toshinori called out.

"Sounds like a fun time." Tossing her messy hair over her shoulder, the child looked at the principal. "Give me a ticket to Yokohama, I have a plan."

"You already know what they want?" Midnight blushed at how disheveled the girl looked.

"They're trying to draw me out, but I'm smarter than that." Walking out of the meeting room without another word, she smirked at the sound of her phone pinging. They wanna see me? Alright, fine. Grabbing her backpack from her home, she went to the train station.

Within a few hours, she disabled the cameras on the path to the mafia's warehouse and found a way into Mori's office. A piece of cake. The dude had a lot of files from SHIELD, which she stuffed into her bag, and-- why the hell does he have lolita dresses? Scowling at the sight, she went into the darkest corner she could find and waited. The sound of multiple footsteps made her smirk, holding the file that held her photos. In came the big boss himself, along with five others; two had black (mostly) hair, one hand ginger, and the last two were blonde.

"Man, you would've thought that Pandora chick knew who we were and what we were doing." The redhead crossed his arms.

"Don't underestimate her, Chuuya, even if she is a child, she still was a top operative." A black haired woman informed, more like warned.

"That's true, but how do we know if she even found out?" The older blonde woman placed a hand on her hip.

"We don't." The mafia boss shrugged. "But all we can do is wait."

"Rintarou, where is the file with her photos?" The child pointed at his desk. Madaline held it up, stepping out of the shadows.

"Right here." Everyone stared at the teen in shock. "What, didn't expect me to show myself so early?"

"How did you get in?" Chuuya screeched.

"I've gotten into more secure places." Madaline shrugged, tucking the file back under her arm.

"Did you take all of my files?" The old man started searching his file drawers.

"Not your files, mine." A dangerous spark appeared in her eyes, but it was gone just as fast as it had appeared. "I'll be sure to burn my photos, by the way."

"No, you won't." A tense aura surrounded Mori's body, but he seemed calm.

"Is that supposed to intimidate me?" Madaline walked towards the door, sensing someone sending something towards her. Seamlessly, she took a step to the side. "My question still stands." Before anyone could make another move, her dark green eyes turned to them, a wild smirk on her face. "Now, as much as I would love to fight, I have a bed at home just calling my name." With the slam of a door, she was gone, even when they opened the door just a few seconds later. Where did she go? And how?

Turns out, Madaline just went into the vents, not like they knew that, and crawled her way back to the alleys, pulling the hood of her green jacket up. Running to the main street, she walked to the Armed Detective Agency, knowing they also had her file. If there was one thing you couldn't do, it was to trick her. In the photo she saw in the meeting room, a man passed the file to Chuuya, holding his own copy, and the PM had an alliance with the ADA. It was a no-brainer that they tried to draw her out at the same time.
Climbing up the agency's wall, she kicked the window open, disappointed that she didn't break it. "Man, I wanted to have a dramatic entrance that Mack usually does."

"How did you--?" A boy with silver hair panicked upon seeing the young lady. We're dead meat!

"She saw Dazai." A man with a lollipop stick in his mouth said with interest.

"Yes yes, whatever, gimme the file." I just want some fucking sleep.

"You just want the file?" The detectives looked stumped.

"And any others you have." Madaline shrugged, crossing her arms, then held up file 71205. "Specifically this one."

"T-That's it?" Atsushi looked around, seeing everyone else also looked shocked.

"Yeah, what did you expect? For me to come in here, guns blazing, like a crazy baboon?" The longer she was out, the more her mind started to get tired.

"Sort of." The were-tiger said sheepishly.

     "Yeah." Ranpo shrugged.

"Thanks." Looking into the eyes of the file holder she held out her hand expectantly. "File. Now."

"Fair enough." The bandaged man shrugged, handing over a fake.

"Don't test me, Osamu Dazai, I know a fake when I see one." She hissed, scowling.

"Wow, you SHIELD agents are impeccable when it comes to observations." A few moments of silence told him she wasn't going to retort. "Would you like to commit a double sucide with me?" Dazai sparkled with a flirtatious smile, kneeling down with his hands on hers.

"I'll think about it when you hand over the file."

"She didn't even bat an eyelash!" The agency yelled.

"Thank you." Madaline sang the moment the file was placed in her hand. "Have a good morrow."

"You too!" Dazai and Ranpo waved goodbye. Of course, they had many copies. But, of course, they went missing the next morning with a note.

Nice try, but you guys couldn't have been more obvious.
With love, Agent Pandora.

And a photo of the files burning.

Guess that's why you don't piss the girl off.
