I miss you
Enough to make my heart ache,
Enough to bring salty tears down my cheeks,
Enough to try and hold it in for your sake.
I miss you
Enough that every memory of you flashes in my mind's eye
Enough to make me cry.
I miss you
Enough that I grab onto anything that reminds me of you:
Memories, pain and grief,
As missing you feels like you were just a figment of some cruel imagination;
A figment of something unreal.
What hurts most
Is your absence:
Your unrequited echo
For my longing, pain, love and grief.
But there's nothing more I could do,
As all that's left of you is a fading memory.

When The Heart Whispers
PoetryThe poems reflect evergreen and intense emotions while others are as light and weightless as feathers. It's like the heart whispers softly, waiting to be heard. ~Vote and Comment~ © tanxsha [Previously warped_realities]
