A week had finally passed and Akari was discharged from the hospital that day. Her brother had been born the other day and her mother was currently at the hospital resting. He was named Kakashi!

Akari left with heavier weights on her and began to make her way to the Hokage's Office. Suddenly, a familiar voice filled her head.

Akari can you hear me? If you can speak in your head in response. Just continue walking as well.

Is that you Sage of the Six Paths? Akari thought.

Yes, it's me. I just realized I never told you my name. You can call me Hagoromo, Akari.

It has been a while. Akari continued to make her way to the Hokage's office.

I'm guessing you are making your way to Hiruzen's office.

Yes, I am. I'm probably getting Crane as my teacher.

How did you know what his mask was?

I used a "Chakra Wave". It's a new skill I had developed that coats my surroundings. I use a minuscule amount of chakra so no one can notice it.

Interesting.

Am I allowed to tell anyone about you? Akari walked into the Hokage's mansion and towards the office.

I don't think it would be a good idea.

Fair enough. Akari knocked on the Hokage's door.

"Come in!" The Hokage said. Akari enters the room and immediately senses eyes on her. "Akari. I'm glad you're doing well. I'm guessing you're here for your new teacher." Akari nodded. She looked at where Crane was and he nodded in acknowledgment.

"Crane," Hiruzen said. Crane appeared in front of him, standing next to Akari. "This will be your teacher Akari. You may go get to know each other and do the assignment." Akari and Crane nodded and left.

"Let's begin with a short introduction. Share your name, likes, dislikes, and hobbies." Crane said as he sat down on the roof of the Hokage's Mansion. He very was laid back when he wasn't on duty.

Akari sat down in front of him. "My name is Akari Hatake. I like my family, the village, and learning new Jutsus. I don't like people who give up without trying and people who would betray their comrades. My hobbies are drawing, training, and experimenting with Jutsus and chakra." Crane looked at her in surprise.

"Experimenting with Jutsus and chakra? How so?" He asked. Akari closed her eyes to think of a simple explanation.

Just talk about how you figured out the Chakra Wave. Hagoromo said. Akari was a bit startled, forgetting that Hagoromo was with her. Akari opened her eyes again.

"I was spreading out my chakra like a wave and saw that I could sense everything if I coated it with my chakra. I use often so that I can practice using only a small fraction of my chakra. The smaller amount of chakra, the fewer people can sense it. So now I'm beginning to experiment with it to try to find more uses for it." Crane blankly stared at her. He shook his head in amazement.

Thanks for the help Hagoromo. Akari thought.

No problem.

Crane stood up and began his introduction. "My name is Crane as you know. I will tell you my real name and show you my face after you finish your assignment." He said with his pointer finger pointing to the sky and his hand on his hip. "I like the village, soba, and looking at the stars. I dislike people who mistreat others and people who would betray others without flinching. My hobbies include fishing, drawing, and stargazing." Akari stared at him blankly.

"What's the assignment?" Crane sits back down with his arms crossed. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a bell.

"The assignment is to take this from me," Crane replies. "Let's head out to training ground 23." They both sprint toward the training ground while running over the rooftops.

They finally reached the training grounds and Akari looked around her. The training ground was covered by trees and she heard a waterfall nearby. There was a clearing with training dummies and multiple targets hidden throughout the forest.

"You have 3 hours to get the bell. If you can't get it, I will have to train you a lot harder than expected. Your time starts..."

The forest became silent. A leaf began falling from its branch and the moment it hit the ground, they began.

"Now!" Akari darts into the trees and leaves a shadow clone underground. She makes more and they set up traps. All Crane could see was a silver blur.

She's fast. He looks around to see if he could spot her.

Now's my chance. Akari shot out of the trees.

"Water style: Steel binding." Water shot out from underneath Crane. His arms and legs were held by water and he couldn't move them.

Interesting. It's almost like steel. Crane turns into water and melts into the ground.

A water clone. Akari pushed out her chakra and she sensed him underneath her. She quickly jumps away and sees Crane jump out where she once was. She began leading him to a trap and she got in the center of all of the traps. She got into a taijutsu position.

Crane found her and he looked around to find and traps. He saw a wire in front of Akari and smirked. He dropped down next to the wire and looked at her.

"Did you think I wasn't going to find this trap?" He asked. His voice was void of emotion. He stepped over the wire and heard and snap. He looked down and saw a small chakra thread and his eyes widened. Larger chakra threads darted towards him at lightning speeds and wrapped around him.

Wasting no time, Akari's clone came up from under him and snatched the bell. The clone tossed it to Akari and she snatched it from the air.

She used the wire as a decoy. He thought. Akari walked up to him as the chakra threads loosened, letting him go.

"Did I pass?" Crane looked at her and sighed.

"Yeah. Let's go to the top of the Hokage's mansion again and I'll continue my introduction."

Once they reached their destination, he sat down and motioned for Akari to do the same. Once she sat down, he looked at her and began to talk.

"My name is Hisoka Sato. You can call me Soka if you want. No need for honorifics. It makes me sound old." Soka said as he chuckled. "You want to see my face right?"

Akari looked at him and nodded. "It would be better if I know how my sensei looks." Soka stares at her for a moment and sighs. He reaches for his mask. He removes it and looks at Akari to gauge her reaction. She stares at him blankly.

"What? Am I cuter than you expected or am I uglier than you thought I would be?" He said jokingly.

A/N: (He looks exactly like Mori from Ouran Highschool Host Club. Just more muscular.)

Akari looks away from him and lies down on her back, looking at the clouds. Soka shakes his head with a smile. He walks over to her and lies down next to her. It was afternoon and the clouds floated across the sky. It's been a while since I've seen the sky like this. She thought.

Soka glances at Akari but stared back at the sky. "Meet me here tomorrow at 6 am. We'll start your training tomorrow. Bring your katana too." Akari nods and stands up.

"See you tomorrow Soka Sensei." She walks away at a slow pace.

"You don't have to call me sensei. See you tomorrow." Soka stares at the clouds wishing he could just drift away. I can't do that though. I have things to do. He stands up and Shushined into the Hokage's office to report Akari's score on the assignment. She gained full marks.
