As Akari walked home, she began to think about what Hagoromo and Yua said to her. It wasn't like she was ignoring her dad right? Maybe she should live her childhood like a normal child.
You should. You never know what may happen. Yua replied. Akari sighed and made her way home. Kakashi happily looked at the trees and the villagers.
"Tadaima." She walked to the kitchen with Kakashi on her back. She cooked some miso soup and rice so she could visit her mother while also making fish for her father. Akari put it in a bento box and went to the hospital where her mother was.
"Mom, Dad, I got food for you." Sakumo was sitting in a chair next to Himari and Himari was sitting up in bed. Bags were under her eyes.
"Thank you Akari-chan," Sakumo said with a smile. Akari set it down at the table.
"Can I see little Kakashi?" Her mother asked. Akari set Kakashi down and Kakashi crawled up to sit on his mother's lap. "How cute."
"Hey, Akari?"
"Yes, dad?"
"How bout me and you have a little father-daughter date every now and then?" Akari blinked.
Hey now's your chance! Yua snickered. Hagoromo sighed and nodded in agreement.
"Fine. How about this Sunday? I have training on Saturday." Her father smiled and ruffled her hair.

The date with her father was fun. They ate out and her father had eve trained her with Yua. But she could still hear the snickers in the background when her father kept babying her. She jumped out of her window onto the roof and looked up at the full moon. The moonlight comforted her and it seemed to listen to her thoughts. Not that someone didn't, considering her guests.
Something bothered her. In the back of her mind, she knew something bad was going to happen but she didn't know what. Maybe something would happen soon.
