On 22nd October 2013, I woke up and got dressed and waited patiently for my taxi to arrive and take me to college. My driver was usually very loyal, he spoke to us very respectfully and helped us when we needed it.
After waiting patiently for my taxi my driver arrived, but this particular day his behaviour was very different towards me, not how he usually was. We thought " Okay, just ignore him, he's probably just tiered, he will be fine once he's got me into his cab". We were wrong!
He pushed me into his cab and didn't even put a seat belt on me, he was very rude to me, when I told him to stop and put a belt on me he just carried on driving. When we got to the motorway he did a sudden stop and pulled the hand brake very hard. This resulted in me falling forward hitting, the side of my face on the handle in front of me, hitting the back of my head and being sick on my clothes. I said to the driver " I have just been sick on my clothes, could you take me back home please?" I want to change my clothes". His response was " No I am not taking you back home", you need to go to college!". Let your mum have a rest, she's tiered. So after 15-20 minutes of him arguing with me I finally arrived at college.
When I went inside the receptionist called me over and asked " what's wrong with your eye? It's red and your shaking" so I told her what had happened and she took me to the first aid room.
After a while I got up and went to my lesson and carried on with the rest of my day.
A few weeks went by and I was still shaken up from this incident so I was advised by my tutor to take a few days off and so I did, during this time my mum was called in to college by my tutor.
My tutor explained to my mum that i have already missed a lot of work from being off few months before this accident happened, she thinks it's best I take more time off and come back when I'm fully recovered so I did I took a year off and went back a year after.
