Chapter Five

The apparatus infront of him start to slowly vibrate, flasks and beakers suspends from small tripods. Long glass tubes runs from one to another container.
Transparent shelves were filled with glass container with varying shapes and sizes. Liquid contents have different colors and characteristics.
He walked toward a table with a big seeing screen. He then fumbled and pressed on different keys mounted infront of the screen. The screen turn alive showing him figures, giving instructions on what he needs to do next.
Then a bigger screen on the face of the wall turned to life.
Everything is complete and ready. His previous test have been successful. Now he would need privacy so that he can start to resurrect his master. He have found the answer to its secret.
Sukhar went out of the laboratory. He walked past room after room until he reached the cage where Orth was.
He have plans for his pet. He needs to buy sometime alone for this ritual to succeed.
Upon opening the cage Orth was so glad to see his master again. He knows that the master will have a game for him again.
Sukhar led his pet towards the entrance of the cave. He clicked on the switch that triggers the block to move. And the reached for the vial in his pocket. Pour a drop of Coleene's blood at the tip of Orth's lashing tongue. And then he made the mind link.The blood would help him track the would be victim.
His instructions. To kill Coleene and everyone who would try to stop him.

They are dead serious with everything they have told her. She was sure of that.
Or else everything she heard was a big joke. But they are all serious. There was a long silence. You could hear a pin drop with the silence that followed.
Then Morielle stood up. She walked towards the counter and produce what seemed to be a small bag from the travel pack that lay on the floor. She handed it to Coleene.
Those belonged to Haggart. It seemed to me that it is time for you to have them. Morielle said as she sat back on the chair she vacated a while ago.
Coleene opened the bag and found two things inside.
One was a bracelet. It was designed with two koi fish. And between them was a gem in blue. It was made from the same metal as the ring and the neclace.
All of the jewelry started to slowly glow giving of a steady stream of blue light at the touch of her finger. She feel a strange power surging throughout her body emanating from the jewelry slowly gathering and seeping through her eyes. There was no pain just a small tingle of heat but it was bearable. Then as slowly as it appeared. It quickly died away. Leaving every one gathered in awe and amazement.
Coleene felt peaceful and calmness all around her As she stared at the last thing she took out of the bag.
Morielle said.And that one belongs to your mother.she stood up and walked towards Coleene to help her stand. And then she spread the clothing over Coleene's small shoulders. It was a cloak made of some transparent material. And a clip insignia holds itself up on her chest. The insignia was that of a dove swooping head first down.wings spread wide.
We were supposed to give all these to you on your coming birthday. Because by then you would be turning eighteen. But the recent incident that occurred made all of us see the urgency. You see that monster was after you? And we know it will come back. We have to bring you somewhere safe. Somewhere that the one who controls the monster would not dare come in. We will bring you on your mother's kingdom princess Coleene.

Yna stood up and in her low voice said,
I have prepared the horses and the carriages ,all our weapons and belongings are already there. The journey would be long and our supplies would last.
Yna wore a hood made of skin of a great big cat. A sort of symbol of power in her own tribe. She is the daughter of a great chieftain who helped the three old warriors during their battle against the dark mages. She have eyes that makes you feel she sees through you, she has the power to see the near future and she have seen the danger coming on it's way here. She have already informed everyone about the gurakuda's return.
It was her father who saved Coleene's mother long time ago from an attack by a gurakuda while she was on a hunting expedition with her father. The gurakuda was slowly creeping on her mother when yna's father blocked the way slicing with his mighty blade that emits some sort of electric power. It went through the skin of the gurakuda cutting off one of its ears ,making it run screaming leaving Coleene's mother safe. The battle was short and fierce and they drove the gurakudas away.
This sword was now worn behind her back.
Haggart stood up and lifted up his maze. The time for us is running out. We have to leave. He motioned everyone to get ready.
Dhugal went behind the counter and took the broadsword hanging by the wall. He removed it from its scabbard and said. "Well my old friend, it seems to me a new adventure awaits for us. And he swings it mightily producing a soft hum .The humming sword of power.
Morielle took her sets of bows and arrows. Each quiver has a different colored feather.
