Rosemarie's P.O.V
When I'm close to sleep, the door to the living room swings open and I jump up from the couch. I turn around and see my Aunt Pep. When she sees me, her eyes fill with tears. She runs towards me and grabs me in her arms. I can't help but hug her back. " Rose, I can't believe it. Is it really you?" she says as she cries. I pull back to look at her and say " Yeah it's really me. But I can't stay for long." She gives me a confused look through her tears. " And why not?" She asks. I look at her with a sad expression and say " I only came to tell Uncle T what happened. I heard some agents talking at a bar one night. About how they kidnapped you and where they were holdin you and why. I ran here as fast as I could to tell Uncle T what had happened. When I got here, I got into a scuffle with the advengers. And then the Black Widow Knocked me out. I was going to leave, but Uncle T made me promise him that i would stay for one hour." I drop my eyes to the floor because I can't bare to see her expression. " That was no scuffle you got into. You dented Captain America's sheild and threw the hulk around like he was a rag doll." Comes a voice from behind me. I turn and see the one and only Nick Fury standing in the doorway, in all his eye patch and trench coat glory. " I didn't mean anyone any harm." I say, suddenly scared that I was about to get into trouble. " I know you didn't. I'm not here to arrest you of thats what your worried about. I'm actually here to recruit you to the advengers." he says seriously. I look at him like he's stupid for a moment. " Absolutely not! When my hour is up, I'm leaving. I will not stay here and put peoples lives in danger." I say, incredoulsy. He looks at me and says " You were never a danger to anyone." Surely the great Nick Fury knows what I did I think to myself. " Yes I am. I killed my friends when I was 16. I will not put the people around me in danger." I say to him. He simply looks to Tony and asks " You haven't told her?" Tony gives him a dirty look and says   " I just got back from saving my wife. And she was passed out before that. So no, I have not had the chance to." I stand there, confused. " Tell me what?" I say and look back and forth between the two of them. Aunt Pep comes up and places her hands on my shoulders. " You might want to sit down, honey." I let her move me to sit down on the couch. She sits next to me and Tony sits on the other side of me. Fury just stands in front of me. I then look at Tony expectantly. He looks me in the eyes and says " You didn't cause your friends to die. The explosion was cause by a bomb placed by hydra. They wanted to capture you to try to run experiments on you. The fire spread due to excelerants placed around the house. None of what happened was your fault, kid" I just sit there, Feeling like I just got godsmacked. Then I stand up and turn around to face them " Are you just telling me this so I'll stay?" I say feeling anger rising in my chest. " Because it's not going to work. I was there. I heard their screams. I saw their bodies. I felt my powers get out of control!" I yell. Why would they try to do this? Tony stands up and walks to a shelf. He returns with a tablet, typing something on the screen. When he's done, he hands me the tablet saying " This is all the evidence from the fire. When you felt your powers get out of control, it wasn't because you were spreading the flames. It was becuase you were absorbing them. You actually saved lives, Rose." I watch the video of my younger self drawing the flames around her into her body. When the video ends, I sit the tablet down. I feel my my body start to tremble and I have to fight against the tears threatening to spill. " The fact still remains that i'm a monster who has no control over the powers I have." I say quietly. Then I turn around and run to the elevator, ignoring the pleas from behind me for me to stop. I push the first floor button. This time when I get out of the elevator, i'm not surrounded by agents. I walk to the exit. When I get outside, I walk to the side of the building. I stop and lean up against the steel cold wall, deep breathing and trying to get my thoughts under control. What the hell. Even if the video is true, I still don't have control over my powers, which means I could hurt someone. And even so, I still let my friends die. If I couldn't save them then I definetly should not become an advenger. But I miss home. I miss my family. But if I stay, I put them all in danger. I lean my head back against the wall and close my eyes. What am I supposed to do. " Leaving so soon? Your hours not up yet." Comes a voice to my right, making me practicaly jump out my skin. I look to see Natasha standing there, looking at me with a blank expression. " What the hell, Agent Romanoff? You almost gave me a heart attack." I say. " Why are you out here?" She asks, tilting her head to the side. Tension begins to form in my chest. " Nick Fury is trying to recruit me to the advengers." I say. " So?" she asks. I look at her increduosly. " So? If the video I just saw is true then I let my friends die! If I couldn't save them, Then there would be no point in me becoming an advenger. I have no control over my powers, so everyone around me is in danger." I say. She looks at me for a moment. I close my eyes and take several deep breaths to help me calm down. " We could help you. Train you to gain control over them." she says making me look at her. " And if someone gets hurt in the prossess?" I ask her. " Then we get them the medical attention they need and we pick up and try again." she says. I shake my head. " If only it was that simple." I say. " Why can't it be? Yes, your friends died. But your not the one who killed them. I believe that if you had training, you could have saved them." she says. " And who would you have risk their lives just to train me?" I ask her seriously. She ponders that for a moment. She looks at the ground thinking for a moment. Then her eyes snap back up to mine and she has a smirk on her face. " Me." she says.
