Rose's P.O.V.

" Rose, the Advengers are waiting for you for dinner." Jarvis says. I sit up on my bed. I had laid there for a couple of hours just trying to figure things out.
" Let them know that I'm on my way." I say.  I get up and put on my shoes. I had kicked them off. I leave my room and get into the elevator. When I reach the floor with the Advengers dining room, I step out and hear chatter throught the door down the hall. I start to feel nervous because this is the first time i will be meeting all of the advengers at once. Well, except for the fight we all had when I first arrived. I get to the doorway and pause. Then I step through the door. They quiet down and look at me. Tony stands up. " Here, you can sit beside me." he says, motioning to a chair beside him. I move and take a seat. On my other side is Thor. I look up at him. He looks back down at me with a kind smile. I can tell we will get along. Tony clears his throat. " I'll introduce you to everyone." He says. " Everyone, This is my adoptive daughter, Rose. She calls me Uncle T. Rose, this is everyone." He says with a smirk. He sits back down with a satisfied look. I can't help but chuckle. I hear a scoff to my right. A man with sandy hair, whom I recognize as hawkeye, looks at me. "Well not everyone. There are others. They are just out on missions. My name is Clint Barton." he says. " It is nice to meet you, clint. I'm Rosemarie, but all of you can call me rose." I say with a smile. Robots come out of the kitchen carrying trays of food. They set them in front of everyone. As we eat, they ask me a lot of questions. About my powers, what I did during all those years, and every other detail about me. Until Sam Wilson asks me " Do you have a boy friend?" I feel Tony beside me tense. He was always overprotective when it came to that aspect of my life. I look to him with a smirk. He relaxes, knowing what I was going to say next. I look back over to Sam. "Well, lets get a couple things straight. For starters, your tie." I say smirking at his crooked tie. He had worn a black suit to dinner for whatever reason. "And second, I'm not." I say. It takes him a moment to get it. Everyone else is chuckling, while he sits there confused. Then it dawns on him. He smiles sheepishly at me. Clearing his throat, he asks " Do you have a girlfriend?" I shake my head. " Nope. I was on the run, remember? I didn't settle down in one place long enough to have one." I say. I feel some one looking at me. I look down the table and see Natasha look away. The rest of dinner goes quietly. When we are done, we head to the living room across the hall and watch a movie. During the movie, I can feel catch her giving unreadable looks. After the movie is over, they watch another one. But I head to bed feeling very confused.

Time skip

Over the next month, Natasha and I have been training vigorously. We have been using the devices and cards Tony gave me. I have gotten very good at being able to shift fluidly. I have gotten more control over my ability to manipulate the elements. Although fire still gives me problems from time to time.
I got better at hand-to-hand combat. I didn't go into auto-pilot again, but I started giving Natasha a run for her money. Although I have yet to pin her, She says that I have improved a lot. However, I have a problem. I have developed a crush on Natasha. I mostly ignore it. But there are times that it is hard to do so. Like right now. Natasha and  I were sparing on the matts in the training room. We were sweaty and breathing heavy. I was in a sports bra with active shorts. So was Natahsa but she had a tanktop on. We were circling each other.  She takes a jab at me and I grab her arm. I twist so that I pin it behind her back. She head butts me in the mouth. It stuns me, and gives her the advantage she needs. She gets out of the hold and sweeps my feet out from under me. She proceeds to straddle me and pin my arms above my head. Breathing heavily, we look at each other. I look into her eyes, her expression unreadable. After a moment that left my head spinning, She gets up. I sit up. " Go get ready. You have weapons training with Clint on weekdays, Starting today." She says. Oh right. Tony and I did a test, and it turns out that I can exhaust my powers. So he decided I needed a weapon incase I was left powerless on a mission. I tried to tell him I didn't want to use a gun and that it was pointless because it took me hours to deplete myself. But he was adamant. So we compromised. Clint was most proficient with weapons that weren't guns and he agred to help me find what I had an affinity for. So I get up and head to the showers. When I'm done, I head back out to the training room. I see Clint had set up an array of weapons, ranging from daggers all the way to the bow.
I test them out one by one. it takes several hours. Clint and I talk through out the process. He is very patient with me. At the end, to my intense suprise, we settle on dual blades. " How can you tell that I have an affinity for these?" I ask him. " Well, for starters, The way you hold them. It's completely natural. And when we practiced with them, You used them with ease." He says. We work on putting the rest of the weopons back to were they go. " So, how is training with Natasha going?" he asks me. " Um, it's going." I say. I can't help the heat that rises to my face. I try to hide it, but he see's it. " Oh come on. It can't be that bad. She says you've been making progress." he syas confused. I clear my throat. " Yeah, I've been making a lot of progress." I say. "Then why are you blushing like that" he asks, confused. I chuckle nervously. "No reason." I say. He studies me for a moment. I stand there uncomfortably, unsure of what to do. Then he breaks into a smile. " You have a crush on Romanoff." He says. " I do not!" I say loudly. " Oh yeah? Then why did your face just get 10 times redder.?" He asks, laughing hard. I stand there, helplessly. " Is it that noticable?" I ask. " Not really. You have to be paying attention." he says. " It doesn't matter anyways. Nothing will come of it." I say sadly. " I wouldn't be so sure. You might just be suprised." He says, leaving with the cases of weapons. I stand there confused and watch him leave.
