Chapter 4

Rosemarie's P.O.V
I look at the agent in front of me, stunned by what I just heard " I could kill you." I say. She looks at me for a moment. " I had someone helped me once. They also risked their life in doing so. So I simply want to pay it forward." She responds. I look to the ground to help me think clearly. I could kill her. And I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I did. So this is a very bad idea. But what if it works? I would actually be able to do some good with my powers. If I learned how to control my powers, I wouldn't have to be afraid any more. And I could return home.
She looks at me and extends her hand. I look up to see her waiting for my decision. I slowly reach out and take her hand, shaking it. After we let go of each other, I feel a weight lift off my shoulders.
Tony's P.O.V
After Rose ran out, I just sat on the couch, my head in my hands. "Did I do something wrong? I mean, I just wanted her to know the truth so she can move on and be happy." I say to Pepper. " We all do, honey." she says. She sits next to me and rubs my back. " She'll come around." I look at her and smile sadly. " I hope so. " we hear a song from the elevator and look over to see fury leaving.  " If she comes back let me know." "She'll need time. "I say. " Oh I know. I just want to be prepared just invade. " he says. The elevator doors open to reveal Rose and Natasha inside. Rose steps out warily. She walks over to us and drops to her knees in front of Pepper and I. Then she hugs us both tightly.
Rose's P.O.V
As I hug them I try not to cry. I look up at Tony and Pepper. " I'm so sorry." I sob. Aunt pep hugs me back tightly. "Your home now. That's what matters. " Uncle t says. I stand up and try to regain my composure. "what made you come back? " asks aunt pepper. I look over to Natasha and say " I had someone talk some sense into me. " I look at Fury and say " I'll join. But I'm going to need time to train and get my powers under control again. " He sticks out his hand. I take it and shake it. " welcome to the team." he says. He turns to leave. I look back to my parental figures. " you need some rest. Natasha will you show her to her room?" uncle t says.  Natasha turns and heads back to the elevators. I follow her. We get to the floor and she leads me to a nondescript metal door. I open it to reveal a bedroom.  I turn to Natasha. She looks at me and says " training starts tomorrow at 9 am.  Don't be late." with that she turns and walks away.  I shut my door and lean against it wondering what I just got myself into.
