And They Were Roommates

Chapter One: Moving

Sadie's POV
Finn and I had finally moved in. Everything was set up. We were both laying in our beds. Finn was laying in his and I was laying on mine.
"God, I could've sworn it took three days to move into this house." Finn said.
"It was only three hours." I giggled.
"God, I never wanna move houses again, Sadie." Finn groaned.
"You're being over dramatic." I laughed.
"God, I'm so tired." Finn groaned.
"Go to bed." I suggested.
"I'm not that type of tired." Finn said as he turned around and laid on his shoulder.
"Wanna watch some TV?" I asked sitting up on the bed.
"Sure, there's not much to do." Finn said.
"Alright, I'll make some pop corn you can choose the show." I said.
"Sure, we should watch "You", it's a new show haven't watched it yet." Finn suggested.
I nodded and walked out. I went to the kitchen and made some popcorn. I put it in a green bowl and walked to the couch. Finn and I watched the show for hours. I'm not too big on those types of shows but this one was interesting.
Before I knew it, it was nearly three a.m. I was getting a bit drowsy, my eyes were getting heavy and before I knew it, I was asleep.
I had dreamed about laying in a field of dandelions, I stood up and walked around for a couple of seconds. The whole cast of stranger things was standing a couple of feet from me. They were all holding dandelions except Finn. He was holding a beautiful sunflower. They all surrounded me in a circle. They all come up to me one by one handing me the dandelion but I declined each and every one of them. Finally, Finn comes up to me. He said "Sadie, I believe this belongs to you." He holds out the flower for me and I accept it. I hold it against my shirt and sniff the flower. I looked straight into Finn's eyes. The rest of the cast got blown away by the wind as if they were made of sand, from top to bottom. Finn holds my hand and I hold his. We walk for a while and my short white romper turns into a long yellow playsuit dress, the yellow was the exact same shade of yellow as the sunflower. After a while of walking we found a small hill. No dandelions, no flowers and nothing to see but grass and a large tree sitting at the top of the mountain. We walked to the top of the hill and sat under the tree. I laid on Finn's shoulder and he said "Sadie, I love you." I closed my eyes and woke up.
I woke up on my bed covered by my comforter and wearing and oversized shirt. I stood up and walked to the kitchen where Finn was cooking eggs.
"'Morning, Sadie." Finn said.
"Good morning, Finn." I said.
"Want some eggs?" Finn asked.
"Yeah, sure." I answered.
He took his pan and a plate and poured some eggs onto my plate using a spatula.
"Finn?" I asked.
"Yeah?" He said.
"Did I fall asleep on the couch?" I asked.
"Yeah, you fell asleep on my shoulder to be exact." Finn answered.
"How did I wake up on my bed then?" I asked. A lot of light was coming from the window so I was squinting my eyes a lot.
"Oh, well, I assumed you didn't want to sleep on the couch... so... I, uh, carried you to your bed, you're lighter than I thought by the way." Finn answered.
"Is that a compliment?" I asked.
"I guess." Finn chuckled.
I laughed and ate my eggs.
"By the way, I'm gonna need that shirt back." Finn said as he turned around and looked at the floor.
"Oh, I will... give it to you, I'm gonna... yeah." I said.
I walked away and headed to my room. I walked into the washroom and went into the shower. I was confused. Did Finn Wolfhard see me naked? Or at least half naked? Part of me was weirdly flattered but mostly confused. I was wearing a dress which was mostly uncomfortable and I had been complaining about it to him most of the ride there. Maybe he was being thoughtful? Or was he trying to get into my pants? Either way, I was confused about my feelings. I got out of the shower and put on some yellow jean shorts and a white blouse. I put on my shoes and opened the front door.
"Sadie, where are you going?" Finn asked.
"I'm going to hangout with Millie, we're checking out this new café. She's already in her car waiting for me so I should go." I answered.
"You want to hang out later?" Finn asked.
I nodded.
"I better get going." I said.
Finn waved goodbye to me and I waved to him.

~Time Skip~

Millie and I were at the café. We ordered some coffee and talked. I had decided to tell her about what happened last night with me and Finn. I could tell her emotions were almost as confused as mine.
"So, you and Finn are an item?" She asked.
"No, no, not at all." I answered.
"Are you sure?" Millie asked.
I nodded.
"Why would you move in together then?" She asked.
"We're both going to the same college and we both already knew each other so we thought 'what's the point of looking for some random strangers to move in with us when we have each other?' Plus we don't share beds or anything." I explained.
"So, could you put in a good word for me?"  Millie asked.
"Pardon me?" I asked in shock.
"I've liked Finn for a couple of months but I didn't want to get between you two." She said.
"Yeah, sure, I'll put in a good word for you." I said.

~ Time Skip ~

I was finally home. It wasn't too late but I was tired from walking with heels all day.
I walked into the living room and Finn was playing video games. He took off the part of his headset off which was covering his right ear.
"Sadie!" Finn said. "You're back!".
"I'm going to crash on my bed." I said in a tired way.
"How come? What happened?" Finn asked.
"Nothing, Im just tired, me and Millie walked around a lot." I answered.
"Sadie, where's the shirt I told you to give back to me?" Finn asked.
"It's in the washing machine." I answered.
"You can keep it." He said.
"Really? Thanks." I said.
Finn nodded.
I began to walk away before my curiosity stopped me.
"Why the sudden change of heart, Finn?" I asked.
"It looks better on you than it does on me, plus it's just a shirt, right?" Finn answered, he shrugged at the last part and put his headset back on.
I nodded and walked away and crashed onto my bed.

Hello, I made a mistake and wrote that Sadie are eggs I'm sorry I forgot that she was began and didn't eat eggs.
