Chapter 10 | Date Night

(Y/n)'s POV 

As I was getting ready for the date with Alastor. Looking at the time seeing it was '7:30 pm' I looked at myself in the mirror one last time, brushing my ears last since they were a pain since they are sensitive. As I finished up looking at the time again it was '7:40 pm'  looking back at the mirror to look over myself once more nodding my head that everything looked okay, walking out of the bathroom about to grab my hoodie thinking twice before going to my closet to grab something else. 

Looking through my closet I found a nice jacket that was black but inside was a dark red, smiling as I looked at it. I grab it, take it off the hanger then put it on.Grabbing my room key exiting my room closing the door then heading down into the main lobby of the hotel seeing Alastor waiting near the door wearing a very nice jacket, with a dark red vest and red shirt with his usual bowtie. With nice dark red dress pants and dress shoes.

He turned and saw me, smiling even more. “Why! I say darling you look very exquisite!” blushing a little, looking down then back up at him “i could say the same to you Alastor, you look very handsome” holding his arm out to me wrapping mine through his we walk out of the hotel. “So where are you taking me for this fine date tonight?” looking at him, “if i told you dear, that would ruin the surprise”  

We kept walking until we arrived at this really nice restaurant. Once we entered Alastor spoke with the demon at the front desk as I looked around. This place is way to fancy! How am i gonna repay him!? Once he was finished Alastor turned and looked at me “come on dear” taking his arm again we followed the demon to our table Alastor pulled a chair out for me, taking a seat. Pushing my chair in, he went on the other side pulling out his chair sitting then scooting in. 

“This is a really nice place,” looking around again then back at the deer demon in front of me, “yes. Indeed it is!” a waiter comes by and gives us our menus “what would you two like to drink?” looking up at the waiter with what appears to be a fox demon, “i’ll just have a water” Alastor looked at the drinks then looked at the Fox “glass of water as well, fine fellow” the fox nods his head writing down our drinks, “i’ll give you two time to think of what you want” with that he left. 

3rd Person POV

(Y/n) looked through the menu to find what she wanted to eat. While Alastor did the same, he looked up at her “find anything you like, dear?” looking up from the menu to him. “Uh…i mean, there’s a lot. But I think I may just get a...steak” looking back at the menu. Alastor set his menu down already knowing what he’s gonna get. Reaching over gently setting your menu down, “Darling,...are you alright?” sighing (Y/n) looks up at him, “Are you afraid of me thinking any differently of you for eating Venison?” nodding a little. 

He only chuckles a little. “Dear, that is nothing you would have to worry about,” “why is that?” leaning a little forward smiling, “because i eat that as well, Remember? You ate my lunch” your eyes widened, then looked away “oh..then why do you eat venison then?” (Y/n) looks back at him. “A sin of mine when i was alive,” he looks away. “What was that?” Alastor looks back at you. “I was a Cannibal, I ate other humans” (Y/n) looks down, kinda understanding a bit now. 

Alastor watches you tilting his head. "So, what did a beautiful doe like yourself do to end up down here?" You look up at him, sighing not really wanting to explain your eyes half lidded. As you look at the table seeing a knife "I killed a man," looking up at Alastor. "In self defense. And ran from the police, I guess I went a little overboard.." not wanting to continue anymore, (Y/n) and Alastor's food and drinks arrived. "Why! thank you young dog!" The waiter nods, and walks away. 

Looking down at the Venison, then back at Alastor. "I Hope you enjoy your meal, my dear!" Chuckling you smile softly, "same to you too"

After the two of you finish your dinner and leave, after nearly fighting over who pays shortly after Alastor paid since, he said that he is the one taking you out on this date. After that. He had taken the two of you to a very nice park that he found as he was planning the date, walking through the park the two of your conversed over your time in hell and you even got to a know a bit about Alastor, 

As he even got to know a bit about you as well. "Where did you grow up if you don't mind me asking, love?" Shaking your head at him, smiling as you looked forward. "No. I don't mind, well" going through your memories, trying to even remember your childhood. "I grew up in the state of Indiana, but I was born in Arkansas. I was the only child" kicking a small rock that you found while walking. "After I got out of high school, I worked in an electronics store fixing electronics some even back in the 1930s. Which was rare"

"What kind?" Alastor asks, as he looks around the park then to you. "Any kind really, pre or post modern" "what kind of music do you like?" You smile, as you think about what kind of music. "That's a tough one, I don't have a genre that I like. I just listen to basically whatever sounds good really" he nods his head. "What kind do you like?" If it were possible, his smile looked like it got bigger. "Electro swing" chuckling, Alastor raises a brow at you.

"What's so funny dear?" "Nothing, I just like that kind also." As the two continued on their walk. They decide it was time to head back to the hotel, upon arriving back Alastor escorted (Y/n) back to her room. Both being quiet to not wake the others up. Unlocking your room, you turn to Alastor.  "Thanks for the date Alastor, it was really fun" he smiles, "well, I'm glad you enjoyed it Love!" 

Both smiling at one another, Alastor steps a little closer. Leaning in as you lean in also. Soon your eyes close you feel his lips against yours, as you both kiss softly. As you two both kiss, you pull away for air. Looking at him in his crimson eyes. He looks at you, looks away his face flushed a little "I should get to bed, darling. It is late" nodding your head, "I should too. Goodnight Alastor" "goodnight dear" with that he teleports to his room. 

As you enter yours, getting ready for bed changing into your PJs, brushing your teeth heading to your bed. While getting under the covers. While a certain Radio Demon doing the same. You both to bed with one thing on your minds as you two fall asleep.

"Am I in love?"
