Onto The Animal In Me | (Song Chapter)

(Y/N)'s POV

"The animal in me,"

Alastor ran along the road chasing after you, while you were running for your life trying to get away from the red deer demon. Who was the love of your life. "Toots!! Over here" running towards the voice you see Angel, Charlie, Vaggie, Lucifer and Lilith. "Are you okay, (Y/n)?" Nodding your head to Lilith's question. Snapping your head toward a thud behind you seeing one of Alastor's shadows and a body of a dead demon,

As well as Alastor himself holding up a demon watching, as he slashed his claws against their neck and ripping them apart. Mind wandering back to earlier today when Alastor went feral.

-- Earlier That Day --

"I've got an animal inside of me
I'm getting sick, sick, sick
Of fucking pushing it down, pushing it down"

Alastor has been acting strange and would avoid me or leave the room if I was in the same room as him. Even though it hurts to see him avoid me, I have to think, 'maybe there is a reason' and not 'maybe he doesn't love me anymore.' So letting some days go by I decided to talk to Angel, Charlie and Vaggie about it.

Angel, being the brother figure he is, went to confront Alastor about it, trying to stop Angel from doing so didn't work. Resting my head in my hands.

Next thing we hear is Angel running down telling us to haul our asses out the door, looking behind me seeing Alastor. Feral...again, but the thing I noticed from before was that something was different. Not being able to put my finger on it though,

Feeling a hand grab me by my arm making me run along with them facing forward seeing that it's Angel. Us three stopped as we saw Lucifer and Lilith stepping out of the limo.

Looking behind us, seeing Alastor stepping out from the hotel doors "RUN!!!" yelling at the top of my lungs running again.

-- Present --

"I feel it crawling underneath my skin

Alastor walked along breathing heavily looking around, red crimson eyes searching as he shut them tight then opening them again, peeking your head a little bit out of where you were hiding watching him. Stepping out from where you're hiding "what the fuck do you think you are doing?" Angel whispers/yells at you. Ignoring him, as you step out more. "Alastor!" Snapping his head in your direction.

"Cher, aidez-moi. S'il vous plaît!.." not understanding what else he said besides Cher which means Dear, shaking my head. "Al, I don't understand what you're saying..please" seeing him shake lowering his head as he growls then lifts his head back up seeing those familiar radio dial eyes 'oh shit..'

"Alastor no, please whatever is going on I can help you" Even if his eyes are hard to read when they're radio dials but his face tells a different story he's scared, 'what's going through that head of yours..' as he's shaking more, he speaks and the word he says. I know that has me obey what he says "Courir!!"

"When I look in the mirror, I know what I see,
The animal in me
One with the demon, one with the beast
The animal in me (monster!)"

Turning and running away. Hearing him behind me dodging the fire that he has already caused, stopping as a dead body lands in front of me resuming my running, I hide behind a burned car. Covering my mouth 'I don't understand he would be calm if he sees me while feral, so that means. Something is really wrong'

"Cher," Hearing the sounds of his shoes against the road, trying to calm my breathing 'I'm sorry, Al' feeling my hand tingle with electricity waiting for him so show up. "où es-tu?" As he appears beside the car I'm at.

Jumping up placing my hand against his stomach, zapping him, sending him flying.
Crashing into other vehicles. He stands up growling loudly, antlers bigger, suit jacket torn from the cars. "Alastor! You have to stop! Before you hurt yourself as well as me!!"

His face showing pure anger, as he snarls at me, "I don't want to hurt you!" At that he sends his shadows after me which I try to fight them off.
Summoning my knife, as it sparks a light blue swiping at them. "Just seeing you like this kills me Alastor! I don't want to fight the person I love!!" Slicing at one of his shadows as it returns to him.

"I'm gonna show them what I have become
I'm gonna burn, burn, burn
Burn them all to the ground, all to the ground"

Getting grabbed by his tentacles being brought to him. "Please Alastor!" Watching him, as he looks up at me tears threatening to fall but he fights them. Around us is nothing but fire, bodies of some demons that are burning along with buildings.

Behind us I hear Charlie and the others. Even her parents. Closing my eyes opening them again, Alastor's eyes are now normal small tear lines on his face.

"Come a little closer
If you look into my eyes, do you see what I see?
I've got an animal, animal, animal in me"

We stare into each other's eyes, trying to read each other, trying to understand the other. "Alastor.." he sets me down lowering his head as he grips his hair. "I never wanted to hurt you as well, my love"

lifting his head, he looks anywhere but me. Going to step towards him but he backs up. "(Y/n) dear...it's best you stay there, I'm afraid I may hurt you"

"Alastor, what's wrong?" He looks towards me. Walks towards me, placing both hands against my cheeks, lifting my hand I wipe away his tears as he gives me a small smile. "I do not know my dear," placing his chin on my head. "But I'm afraid that it's not good, and also may make me harm others......or you" looking up at him.

Kissing his cheek. "We'll figure it out, okay?" He nods his head.
