Chapter 26 | "He's Fine, He Just Won't Leave My Side"

Previously On Chapter 25| Is (Y/n) Okay? And She's What?!

Leaning his head down he nuzzles you. "We're gonna have a fawn sweetheart" nodding your head, "yes, we are Al" Alastor now knew that what he was sensing, was you were carrying a fawn. His fawn. Looking down hearing your soft breathing seeing you have fallen asleep.

Kissing your head. Laying his chin on top of your head, he begins to close his eyes falling asleep also.

Onto Chapter 26 | "He's Fine, He Just Won't Leave My Side"

3rd Person POV

With it being about 10 weeks now since finding out that (Y/n) was pregnant. After Alastor found out that day, he decided that he would not leave her side. But the only way for him to be able to leave her side. Was when he had to go and deal with the sinners who made deals with him, or when he had to go to his radio station and broadcast.

Alastor became more protective of (Y/n) ever since finding out she was carrying a fawn. The others were confused as to why he was behaving the way he is. Charlie and Vaggie decided to read up on some research for both male and female deer demons.

Angel was with them as they did the research while he sat across from Vaggie, "I think I found something!" Charlie shoots out from behind a bookshelf running to the table, placing the book down as she sat in the chair. "Well, what is it?"

Charlie looks at both Angel and Vaggie. Then to a certain passage. "Well there's one small problem, not much is here but-" "woah woah hold the phone there princess, you just said you found something" Angel interrupts Charlie looking at her annoyed and mad.

"Let her continue!" He rolls his eyes then gestures Charlie to continue. "Not much is here about deer demons. Why? I don't know, BUT" Charlie looks at them both, "there is something here it's a small information bad thing is, is that the rest seems to have been torn" she gestures to the page in the book.

"Well, what's the information?" Angel asks. Charlie looks down at the page as she begins to read it, " it says, 'I have tried to study every species here in hell, but one is the Deer Demon. friends of mine are Deer Demons,'"

'So with their consent they allowed me to study them for the sake of research for the future. I have learned that so far,'" Vaggie reads along with Charlie on the passage before something in the passage catches her eye.

'Even though the male can be very aggressive towards other males of different species, they are protective of their mates, as well as their young. But something interesting,'"

"'Caught my attention from what my friend has told me, is that he has lost control of his instincts when 4 overlords attacked his mate'" Charlie looks up from reading the passage before continuing. '"He told me all he remembers was seeing her, then nothing but black until' it ends right there"

"Are you fucking kidding me right now?! What are we supposed to find out now?" Vaggie and Charlie look at him as he keeps ranting, "What happens if Alastor loses control over his instincts, huh, he's already done it once but what if he REALLY loses control!? And (Y/n) is severely hurt to where she can't help"

Charlie looks down at the book before looking through some pages, to find out more about deer demons. "He's got a point Charlie, what will we do if that happens?" Sighing Charlie looks at them both. "We'll have to make sure that doesn't happen. Right now the two of them can't leave each other's sides anyway"

Raising a brow Angel looks at Charlie, "meaning?" Looking at him, she reads a small passage "'during when the mate of male deer demon becomes pregnant, the two will remain at each other's side,'"

'Since the male will be there to help his mate. During this the male will be protective and not trust anyone, even friends'" Charlie looks at them, worry showing on her face.

Walking down the stairs to the main lobby to head to the kitchen, (Y/n) sees Alastor enter the hotel. "Why, my dear lovely (Y/n) I thought you should be resting" he walks over to you pulling you into a hug, which you return. "Al, I'm not sick, I'm pregnant" kissing the top of your head.

"Anymore reason dearest, you should rest. I'm gonna help take care of you during this" smiling at him, which he returns with one of his genuine smiles that he only lets you see. "Thank you Al"

He leans down to kiss you but he grabs you in a protective hold when the sound of a door, slamming open from the library resonates through the main lobby. Along with loud talking from a certain spider.

Turning the corner Charlie, Vaggie and Angel emerge stopping in their tracks when they see Alastor holding you in a protective hold, teeth baring as his eyes are radio dials. "What pissed him off this time, is it that time of the month for him?"

Angel laughs at what he says, stopping once he hears a growl come from Alastor, who looks like he's about to lunge at the effeminate spider in his gaze. "Which one of you slammed a door?" (Y/n) asked, looking at the three

"I told you, to not slam the door open in case this would happen" Vaggie scolds him. Angel in return glares at her. "How was I supposed to know he would be back though?!"

Alastor pushes you behind him, still growling at Angel. what sets him off is when Angel extends his left arm out gesturing to Alastor, Who lunges at Angel tackling him to the ground. Where the two begin to fight.

With you being in your condition Alastor told you not to get or try to get into any fights, but before you could try and break it up. Husk steps out from behind the bar pulling Alastor off shoving him to the wall holding him there,

Walking over to him you begin to calm your buck down. He closes his eyes so he listens to your voice. "How is he (Y/n)?" Charlie asks, not looking at her so you can keep calming him down.

"He's fine, he just won't leave my side for now on" looking over gesturing to Angel, "who just made him more protective" Angel rolls his eyes. "All I did was slam the door open"

"And he reacted thinking I was going to be attacked Angel" Husk let's Alastor go once he sees his friend is now fully calmed, Alastor wraps his arms around your waist placing one of his hands on your belly bump.

Laying his head on your shoulder glaring at Angel."what were you three doing in the library though?"

"Nothing!" Charlie reply's fast. Which has you raising a brow in suspension, "okay"

After that. And agreeing you all decided to play some games with (Y/n)'s help explaining some to Alastor since he was confused considering he is from a different time period.

While laughing and having fun, in one of the windows stood a silhouette of a demon watching the group, but their eyes remained dead centered on you. Watching as you laughed but once he saw you lay your head on The Radio Demons shoulder.

They pull out their phone then begin to take pictures, sending them in a group message to three different demons. Two being overlords. One working for them.

Looking through the window again before leaving so they didn't get caught.

"Excellent. Soon his precious little "mate" won't know what hits her, even if she is carrying his child now" the overlord smiles evilly staring at the pictures they received from their little helper.
