Chrollo x Kurapika (fanfic)

~Chapter 4~

~Chrollo's POV~

I was afraid of what he would think, but I pushed it all to the side and took a deep breath in and spoke, "The reason why I decided to follow you on your journey is that...." Kurapika was basically on the edge of his seat eager to hear what he had to say. I took another deep breath and continued, "....is because I feel awful about what I did to your clan, so I thought that if I helped you find all of the eyes this would be my way of apologizing for my actions."

~Kurapika POV~

I was in complete shock at what he said and was slightly happy that he actually felt any remorse for the suffering of my clan. Maybe I can trust him after all. "Thank you I really needed to hear you say that, but I still can't forgive you for what you did. It will take some time for me to completely forgive you, but I will accept your apology.", I said. I looked over at him to see him smiling at what I had said, and so I decided to give him a little peck on the cheek. His cheeks turned slightly pink and he fell silent, I giggled at his actions.

At the entrance of the museum

~3rd person~

They had finally reached the front of the museum, so now the first part of the mission was a go. Chrollo then handed Kurapika over a pair of glasses and an earpiece and then said, "This earpiece will allow me to speak to you and you to speak back, and these glasses have a special camera in them so that I will be able to see everything that is going on in there, and once we've gotten the exact location of all the cameras and security guards to look for the Alarm system so that I'll know exactly where it is when we go back for the next part of the plan." Kurapika nodded and started to get out of the car, but was stopped by Chrollo grabbing him and making him look his way, "Be Careful" is all he said then let him go.

~Kurapika's POV~

I quickly put on the glasses then the earpiece then headed up to the entrance of the building. 'Can you hear me Kurapika' Chrollo had said. "Loud and Clear.", I said in a whisper trying not to attract the attention of others. I then started walking again, but then stopped when I noticed that I would have to go through a metal detector. I backed away from the area for a quick second then said quietly, "Chrollo they have Metal detectors what if they-" I was cut off by him saying, 'No I came prepared for if that happened, all you've gotta do is take off the glasses and earpiece when they ask you to put your belongings inside of the bucket, and I will handle the rest of it. Also if they do ask why you have an earpiece just say that you use it to take calls' "okay."

I then calmed down my nerves and walked back up to the Metal Detectors. The woman that was operating the machine asked me to place everything that I had on me in the bucket. I then proceeded to do exactly as Chrollo asked me to and placed the earpiece, sunglasses, and also my phone in the bucket then I went through the machine. I knew I would be ok with this part, but what I was really scared of was the bucket with all my stuff in it. I watched and waited for my stuff to come out of the conveyor belt then sighed in relief to myself as my stuff came out through the other side and the woman said " You're clear, enjoy your time at Ningen Hakubutsukan." I then grabbed all my stuff out of the bucket and proceeded to put my earpiece back in, and instead of putting back on my glasses I simply put them on my forehead as to not look suspicious.

'Great you made it through now go and look for the eyes' I proceeded to walk around trying to find them but was then suddenly stopped by someone's hand tapping on my shoulder. I immediately turned around and was met with a man that looked to be not too far off from my age. He was very muscular, to be honest with you, and he wore a white tank top with some camo shorts, and some sandals. His hair was a shade of dark brown and he had his hair put into a man bun with the sides of his head cut off. "Excuse me I'm sorry to bother you, but my friends over there had dared me to come over here and ask you for your number," I smirked in my mind as this was the perfect way to get back at Chrollo for earlier this morning, and even better he was listening in on the conversation. I then said with a smile, "Sure let me see your phone." He blushed at me saying, "For real, thanks I'll be sure to hit you up sometime so we can maybe go for drinks or something like that." I smirked even more in my mind and said, "That would be lovely." We then exchanged numbers and I went off to go find the eyes with one of the biggest smiles on my face.

I didn't here Chrollo say a single word after that as we would probably talk about it once we got back to the house. I had finally found the eyes after searching for about 20 minutes. The place was exceptionally large it had around 6-10 floors and the eyes were on the 9th. I had also counted somewhere around 20 cameras on the 9th floor and in all I kind of estimated the total number of cameras on every floor would be around 200 cameras. The entrance to the building had about 10 cameras and there were 4 bodyguards at the entrance as well. On the 9th floor there were 5 bodyguards I counted. All that was left was to find the Alarm system. I had been searching for hours until I heard Chrollo say, "Stop!! It's right to look to left." I then did so and sure enough the Alarm system was there. I was ecstatic, my feet were beginning to basically fall off, and it was already beginning to become nighttime. I had then walked myself back over to the main entrance, but this time I didn't have to go through a metal detector Thank God. I then make my way back to the car and flopped down in the seat and sighed loudly.

~Chrollo POV~

I had just used one of my abilities to tamper with the machine that had the earpiece and glasses in it so that Kurapika would be cleared and sure enough he was. "Good you made it through now go look for the eyes, " I said. Once he had just made it through he was stopped by someone. I got nervous for him, but then quickly calmed down when noticing that it wasn't anyone working there, but boy now I wished it was. He was sitting there asking for Kurapika's number and stuff. I brushed it off knowing that Kurapika would turn him down, but then he said something I never expected him to say, "Sure let me see your phone." I immediately balled both my fist up causing my phone which was in my right hand to break. I was going to hunt down and kill whoever that son of a bitch was that was talking to my Kurapika. Then I was going to have to discipline Kurapika a little once we got back home for talking with other guys Just you wait, I said to myself with a smirk plastered on my face.

(Still Chrollo's POV)

Kurapika looked exhausted, I mean I don't blame him he's been walking around an awful lot. I would have told him to come back, but after that little incident occurred I didn't have the least bit of sympathy for him. I watched as Kurapika fell asleep for the second time in my car. I guess his punishment can wait till tomorrow since I really don't want to wake him up.

At Chrollo's house

I once again had to carry Kurapika up to my room, and change his and my clothes. I got into bed and scooted over next to Kurapika and him saying something in his sleep. "Hmm...What did you say?", I said in a whisper listening in closer this time. "Chrollo I-," he stopped sleep talking and then switched positions to where he was now laying on top of me wrapping his hands around me unconsciously. I smiled at this then leaned in and gave him a small peck on the lips. I could see a slight blush and a small grin form on his face. I wish these type of moments would last forever.
