Chrollo x Kurapika (fanfic)

~Chapter 12~

Sorry, I probably didn't give you enough time to figure it out, but still, it will be there for future readers. Anyways, I can get really impatient at times,  so I decided to just put out this chapter. Enjoy.

~Chrollo's POV~

I was now determined to win this fight, not going to hold back at all. Kurapika should have been thinking about what happened last time he tried to hide something from me. I don't leave things alone like that it pisses me off, and normally if that kind of thing happened. I would probably give them to Feitan so that he could torture it out of them, but I would never want to do that to Kurapika and I couldn't if I didn't want to die that is, so I would have to give him his own "Special" type of punishment from I myself.

It's not as enjoyable for him, but it is for me. Never mind that tho that's for later, but right now I have a battle to win. I lock gazes with my opponent who hasn't moved at all since the fight had begun which was weird because the fight had begun like 5 minutes ago. "Are you finally done now?", he said crossing his arms in an impatient manner. I don't say anything, "I'm going to take that as a yes, so..." He charged straight towards me and I easily blocked it.

"Sorry not falling for that twice.", I said us both backing away from each other. Then he charges once again in the same exact spot. Is this dude a broken record, or am I missing something? We then back away from each other once again, "You might be wondering why do I keep charging at you in the same spot well...." He said then snapped his fingers, and my arm felt like it had gotten hit and pretty hard at that. I stood my ground even tho my arm was stinging. "Oh wow most would have been out cold, or at least would have been sent flying at that attack...very good."

Damnit that really hurt, I thought. Kurapika can't hear my thoughts unless I want him to hear them, and I can hear all of his without him even knowing. It's kind of not fair, but eh I'm not paying attention to them right now. I look down at my arm which I can tell has a bruise on it, but it's nothing I can't handle. At least it's not broken. I knew now what his ability was. I could have killed him by now, but I had to wait for Kurapika to tell me when he was out, so until then I would just be on the defensive.

~Kurapika's POV~

"usoyeg on yoepuror" This is right up my alley. I loved to decode things like this. When I was younger I remember when my mother would give me books and problems to do,I loved it all. I remember her saying to me, "Don't just focus on your physical abilities, your mental abilities are just as important, so learn learn learn new things, and make me proud." I smiled at that. She had a horrible sickness that could not be treated, and she had died not too long after she had said that to me. So after she passed I made it my duty to fulfill her wish, and that I did, but enough of the sad stuff I need to decode this thing.

I had been analyzing it for about 10 minutes and then I got it. Bingo. It was actually really simple, (I'm not explaining how so I'll just say what it says). "Use gyo on your rope." Which is exactly what I did. I looked at the rope that was rapped around my hand. I noticed how there was a string of nen wrapped around the rope. I continued to follow the string until I'm looking to my right.

There was a message in nen that said in bold, 'Congratulations you've figured out the message great job now shout out loud Decoded and then you will be given a seat in the audience until the fight is over, and also do not get out of your seat if you do then both of you will die TOODLES!!' I shout out loud, "Decoded!!!", and was immediately teleported into a seat.

There were other people around me they didn't look real they had blurry faces so you really couldn't see them. I ignored them seeing as there not real people, and then I thought to Chrollo, I've escaped now hurry up and win so we can get out of here. He immediately responded by saying, Finally you took so long. I was now pissed and said, Shut up it takes time to escape. He responded and said, we'll argue about that later.

~Chrollo's POV~

He hadn't managed to get a single scratch on me (except for the bruise) since Kurapika had told me he was free. I could finally start fighting, and proceeded to stop dodgeing his attacks."Oh! so are you finally gonna stop dodging and start fighting?" "You catch on pretty fast." I bring out my Ben's knife that I used in my fight with Zoldyck's.

I really wanted to end this quickly since I've been here for far too long and the other members are probably worried about us. "What a strange looking knife you've got there.", he said. I could tell that this fight would be a piece of cake just by analyzing his fighting style from earlier. I quickly ran up to him knife in hand ready to charge. He dodged it, but I still managed to scratch his skin and that's all I needed to do in order to lay him out.

"Hehe nice t-," He stopped and then fell to the ground instantly becoming paralyzed. "I'm sorry, but I'm kind of in a hurry so can you send us back now" "Oh yeah w-well there's a problem." I looked over at him with a raised eyebrow and said, "What do you mean?" "W-well you have to k-kill me in order to leave, besides I deserved this I've failed at my duty s-so could you kill me." "Well sorry I can't do that." "Why not? You are a phantom troupe member right!" "Yes but Kurapika is here and I don't want him arguing with me later after I've done so...but it would be a different story if he wasn't here."

He laughed lowly and then said something that got my full attention, "Oooh I see your in love with him then." I said nothing and just stared at him. He sighed and said, "Fine you two can go." After that he slowly but shakily got up which shocked me a little, but I could tell that he was still weak from the poison. He  snapped his finger and Kurapika was instantly beside me. Now that's one cool power.

~Kurapika's POV~

Not only once, but twice did he show mercy towards his opponent. I was in awe at this, then all of a sudden I was teleported down and beside Chrollo. I looked over at Chrollo and to see that he looked fine. What a relief. He looked over at me, and I quickly directed my attention away from his gaze pretending not to look at him. "Awe your worried about me?" "No!!" I said trying my best to hide my blush. "Well, I can still read your mind you know." Well shit, I thought, and he snickered at me.

"Sorry to interrupt this reunion, but I'll be sending you two off now." The Reece guy said. "Alright", Chrollo said. "Ok well goodbye...and Goodluck to you Chrollo." He said smiling at the last part then snapped his fingers. What did he mean by Goodluck??, I thought. "That's for me to know and for you to wonder about." Chrollo said. "Could you stop doing that?!" I said crossing my arms. We had made it back to where we had started, and Machi and Hisoka weren't here. Probably outside helping Franklin and Feitan.

We then walked out to find no one there, so I tried to test out and see if the earpiece was working. 'Hello Machi are you there.' I said trying to see where they were. 'Where have you been you disappeared without any trace?' 'We were fighting the Bodyguard guy in some arena thing, but we'll explain that later where are you guys.' 'We took out most of the cops and are hiding out in the woods waiting on you two, and we have the eyes.' 'Ok that's great do you know exactly where you all are at' 'Yeah we're at Shang lake' 'ok that's not at all to far see you guys then'

I look over at Chrollo and said, "so how do you plan on getting us back??" "Me? Your the one that took forever to escape, and I had to wait on you." "W-what no I was not you could have just paralyzed him to begin with that wouldn't have counted as a death and we could have been out." He started laughing which pissed me off and I said, "What's so funny?!" He laughed even harder which caused me to walk away from him. He stopped me then turned me around and pulled me into a kiss. "Ngh What are ngh you doing?!" He pulled away and said, "You are just perfect you know that right?"

I blushed a thousand shades of red and then he picked me up bridal style and started running. "Put me down!!" I shout. "No you will just slow me down." "I'm not slow thank you very much now put me down!!" "Nope" "uugghh!!" He laughed which pissed me off even more, and then an idea popped into my head. I wrapped my Chains around his legs causing him to fall. What I didn't realize was that he was gonna fall on top of me. Well that fired back.
