Chapter 3:Guards And Detectives

"I will punch your nose open if you make another mistake." I threatened the boy, who took a step back lowering his head. I rolled my eyes, standing up to my full height which made me tower over the fourteen years old boy.

Walking over to a girl who was punching the sand bag, she seemed to be hammering the bag instead of punching it.
"Fist your palms into a ball, and punch the damn bag not punch it as if your hammering a nail." I spoke with a rough and hard voice, she jump startled and nodded her head and listening to my words.

I lived in the middle of a forest, away from the city which allowed me to have my own privacy. Grandmother would often visit when ever she is free which would be pretty often, Nova my cousin would also visit but as she lived in the city it would be not so often but we would always meet up to catch up.

"Your being too rough on them,Mil." Even before turning around I knew who had spoken, the nickname she gave me no one else was allowed to call me. I turned around, looking at my cousin who had a wide smile she wore her tight baby pink business dress and her hair tied into a high pony.

"Nova, I was not expecting you?" I spoke approaching her, she engulfed me in a tight hug I felt my breath get stuck in my throat by her tight grip.
"I do not need to notify anyone to visit my best friend slash cousin." She spoke pulling away, walking towards the near by couch where she dropped her new Chanel bag.

"One thing I know for sure, Nova. You do not wear business attire unless you have come here for a reason." The smile instantly drops from her face, she sighed looking around making sure no one was listening before she approached me.

"He knows your nearby, and he's out looking for you." A sigh escaped my parted lips at her words, Combing my hair with my fingers I looked towards the small square window.
"I should have known Aurora had seen me yesterday, but I'd escaped before anyone else knew who I was. Nova...I-I saw Marabella." Nova's eyes instantly soften at the mention of my daughter, she approached me and gave me a reassuring hug.

"It's time to move, if he is aware you live nearby it will not be long before he finds where you live Mil." Nodding my head, approaching the couch and slumping back against the sofa leaning against the pillow.

"I will move in a week, if I disappear it will catch more attention. It's been three damn years, when will the son of bi tch stop searching for me." I gritted out the final part, closing my eyes knowing I would have no other option but to stay at my grandmothers until I found another home.

"He will stop when he has you in front of him. Also, from what I have heard, he has more guards on your tail and brought expensive detective to find you." I mentally cursed at him, wishing I had never married that man. Leaving him had been my best and worst decision, best because I did not need to endure constantly see my husband with his second bride. However, worst because I had left my daughter there and there was a high chance she did not remember me or even acknowledge the women who breast fed her and carried her for nine months.

"Thank you for letting me know, are you staying the night?" I asked, I watched her walk over to the sofa where she had placed her Chanel hand bag before shaking her head no.

"I had sneaked out, I should get back before Leonardo questions my whereabouts. Stay safe, if I find out anything else I Will let you know."Nodding my head, I watched her straighten her dress and button up her brown long jacket.

"Let me walk you out." I requested in which she nodded her head , Nova and I had always been close so it was no surprise that she was the one who fills in all the details which I needed to know. Being married to the man who is best friends and has a strong alliance with my husba- ex husband allowed her to hear the gossips.

"Grandma mentioned about your latest proposal, I did a little research and pleased to let you know I would like you to think this through before rejecting it." She smirked turning around making me roll my eyes, marrying and having a child at a very young age left me at the age where I was able to remarry but the scars of my previous marriage prevented me from moving on.

"Not you too, I do not need anyone in my family except you,  Marabella and grandmother." I replied back, watching her roll her eyes but not her head. Her hair blew in the wind as she approached the black Mercedes, she turned to face me a waved before siding into the car and instructing the driver to begin driving.

"Mrs Rae." Snapping my head towards the teenage girl who approached me, clenching my jaws. I placed my hands behind my back preventing Me to harm my own students.
"It's Miss Rae." I replied back, my stern tone was back as I walked back towards the children who looked worn out and urgently needing a break.

"Miss Rae, can we take a break?" Looking around and then back at the girl, deciding it was best to give them a break as I too needed a sip of my juice. Everything I have heard has made me want to get under my blanket and closed my eyes.
"Yes, tell the rest they can have a thirty minute break." Not waiting for a reply from the girl. I continued my journey towards the kitchen, grabbing a glass to fill it up with water.
