it was finally time. the end of the year when the seniors all went on their camping trip outside of the city. no internet, no family, just your classmates. i was currently with my best friend, minseo. we were packing our things and gossiping together.

"i'm so excited to bunk with you... i call the top bunk!" she giggled as she stuffed a few more chips in her mouth from the bowl we were sharing.

i chuckled and shrugged softly, looking at her and folding a shirt, gently setting it in my bag. "that's okay, minseo. i prefer bottom bunk anyways."

my mom came in our room, a soft smile on her face as she held some towels. "girls, i'll be taking you to the school in about fifteen minutes. do you need anything? almost done?"

we both nodded and smiled as i set a pair of shorts into my bag. "yeah, we're okay. thank you, mom." i smile and turn back to my things, zipping up my bag and smiling. i look over at minseo to see minseo slipping her shirt off. we were friends since we were children, so we didn't really pay attention to these things. "what are you gonna wear on the way there?"

"i'm not sure," she mumbled while sighing, looking through my clothes, "maybe this?"

we practically share a wardrobe, it didn't bother either of us. "it looks nice on you. you should wear that." i smile at the white flowery crop top she held up in front of her. i picked up a grey hoodie and slid it on, humming.

"really? it's the last get together for senior year, and you're wearing a baggy hoodie and some jeans?" she looked at me and blinked.

"minseo, i can wear what i want. i would rather be comfortable than eaten up by mosquitoes."

she gasped, covering her mouth as her eyes widened. "there's gonna be mosquitoes!? oh god, seoyun, why didn't you tell me??" she scrambled to grab a hoodie out of her bag as i sighed and gripped her arm to stop her.

"no, minseo. i don't really know what will be there, but my mom bought me a can of bug spray. we can share it." i smiled at her and gently let go of her arm as i took the can out of my bag to show her.

she seemed relieved. "ah, thank the lord.. are we ready to go?" she smiled and picked up her bag. it was only a week-long trip to the country. as long as we had cabins, i knew it would be safe.

"girls, time to go!" my mom called from the kitchen, making us sit up and smile, trotting out of my room.

"my baby is all grown up!!" my mother cried as she gripped my cheeks and kissed all over my head.

"mom, please- my whole grade is here.." i whined and pulled away, chuckling as i kissed her head. "i'll be okay. i promise." i tighten my hand around the straps of my bag. "i'll contact you eventually, okay?" i smiled and hugged her tightly before pulling away. minseo smiled and tugged my wrist while bolting onto the bus.

"come on! the others are waiting for us up there."

i whined and followed close behind her before taking a seat beside her, smiling.

"seoyun! you finally came around to attending the trip..." haechan pestered as he wrapped his arms around jaemin's shoulders, sitting close beside him.

"seoyuuuun... tell chenle to give me my ds!!!" jisung whined as he smacked chenle's arm repetitively, wincing.

"no!! if we can't have our phones, you don't get to have your ds!!"

"seoyun!! can we bunk together?" renjun smiled brightly at you.

i chuckled and gently shrugged his arm off. "i already have plans to bunk with minseo!! i'm sorry.."
